Seaes Hotel & Resort - Jeju City - Building

8,7 Excellent (569 reviews)
R3 352+
Overview Reviews

9,2 Excellent
Pros: A luxury resort with Korean local style. Many Korean movies were taking scenes from here. Very romantic environment and good for honeymoon. Breakfast was awesome - one of the best I had.
Cons: A bit far from the city centre .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A gorgeous room with stunning views! The whole hotel is incredibly aesthetic and relaxing. The staff is also wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
7,9 Good
Pros: It is a small sized resort, which makes it cozy. They serve an excellent breakfast. One of the best surfing beaches of Jeju is on walking distance (staff could have told us about it).
Cons: Staff is not very talkative and they could offer information what to do in the neighbourhood. Not so much to do for children at the resort.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden setting.
Cons: Shower in a bath
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This resort is a true jewel and a pleasant contrast to the massive concrete resorts along this part of this beautiful coastal stretch. Its traditional, thatched roof style of guest houses and its setting in a subtropical botanical garden-like environment on top of a cliff near the ocean is quite unique. Breakfast is very good with choices of Korean and western type dishes. The airport express bus 600 stops right in front of the entrance to the resort. It is an easy 7-min walk to the next beach (beautiful Jungmun Beach). We highly recommend this hotel!
Cons: Some of the staff is a bit slack. They are very friendly and do what one asks them to do, but a bit more self-motivated service attitude should be expected from staff of a 5-star hotel. Also, the 5 stars are a bit overrated; it is rather a 4-star rating.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Not enough outlets in the room, had to unplug lights to operate the kettle in the room. Not quite as private as the pictures suggests, there is a hotel only walkway that can see into the rooms.
Cons: Great staff, amazing and scenic location though a bit far from restaurants, etc.
Lotte City Hotel Jeju - Jeju City - Building

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is complimentary at scheduled times.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room is clean and comfortable. Walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. Laundry room has 2 washer and dryer, good for families. Staff at check in/out reception are friendly.
Cons: Not all staff are friendly though. Staff should always put on a smile, the best way to get guests to return during their next visit.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient and close to the airport. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast views are top. And the pool can be used even in winter.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean, staff were very friendly. Good location. The view from our room was amazing. We could clearly see the sunrise over the city, and the golden light filled our room in the morning!
Cons: We found it difficult to find good (and budget) places to eat around the area, although it could be our lack of Korean understanding/english translation. It could help to have a little map or something with good eats in the area!
6,0 Good
Pros: No coffee. And when I found some staff had no cream or sugar and refused to get some!
Cons: No coffee!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: - Free parking - Great location - Bang for the buck - Very good facilities
Cons: - Rooms could be a little cleaner

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly staff
Cons: Great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great, clean high-end hotel with English speaking staff. We enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Ramada and found it to be a spacious room for our 4 member family. If you're feeling a little adventurous, walking to several sights was no problem. The local taxis are always there to help you find your way back, should you stray too far. They seemed quite familiar with the hotel even in English. The hotel is located on the ocean with a very nice walkway to stroll on. But there is no beachfront. For that you'll have to take a bit of a ride to reach the nearest beaches. The hotel was very gracious when it came to checking in as they let us check in several hours early which helped us out a lot.
Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but there is really only 1 city bus that runs in front of the hotel (#30). Also, there is only 1 of the 3 elevators that goes all the way to the ground floor which means you have to walk a ways through the lobby to get out. Like many of the multi-star hotels, the Ramada charges for every little thing including use of the pool, razors and toothbrushes. I've come to understand this is just the way it is.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Ocean view. Cold strong November wind blowing from the sea.
Cons: Reception counter doesn't feel welcoming, no smile. Need to search and request for concierge to help on our luggage, not spontaneous. But most disappointing is that we were not been informed of the closure of swimming pool due to renovation. Sauna use is chargeable.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Is a very big hotel with good facilities.... the gym and sauna is very professional
Cons: A bit Hard to find some good local food
4,6 Okay
Pros: By the ocean
Cons: Room smells very bad
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The rooms are well maintained. Very happy with the hotel in general.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located near the airport and the scenery was amazing having the ocean view that is unique to Jeju Island.
Cons: Many of the facilities required extra payment. It seems reasonable to charge extra for the spa but the swimming pool or the gym facilities should be open for guests.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Modern place, full of amenities (including a casino and multiple dining options). Great views.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Traveling in Korea with a 4 member family group can be difficult; particularly in finding adequate hotel rooms. The room at the Ramada was comfortable for all 4 of us and was reasonably priced. The hotel staff spoke a English and our room was ready 2 hours early at no extra cost. The pianist in the lobby created a very soothing and relaxing atmosphere that resonated throughout the hotel. Taxis were everywhere and if you aren't afraid of walking a few blocks, shopping is close by. We had the city (foggy mountain) view that was still pleasant. About 5 blocks south of the hotel is a historic site of old buildings. If you're at the hotel on Sunday there is a live street performance (free) that happens at 1530 each week. Other than the busy elevators, it was hard to tell we weren't alone in the hotel it was so peaceful.
Cons: It's quite minor but only one of the elevators goes to the ground floor meaning you have to go the long way through the lobby to get down to the sidewalk if you get on the wrong elevator. We also shopped in the gift shop where my wife found a nice 'pearl' ring. The clerk swore it was a real pearl but the price and feel of the pearl said otherwise.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This humble yey cozy place was a perfect fit for my trip. I would definitely go back and stay. Gurye is also my favorite town in Korea.

This hotel has facilities measuring 10829 square feet (1006 square meters), including a conference center. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location. Big chain, so pretty well managed.
Cons: Room has some dirty spots on the wall upon checking in. Marred the overall positive feel and vibe of the room. They could have better communicated that the air-conditioner is switched off due to “winter” season, although the first 2 days of stay was hot, and we didn’t know about their practice.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service was great and always helpful. Location was next to a lot of things downtown and easy access to taxis and buses to get around. Room was spacious for us and comfortable.
Cons: Hotel was already pricey as it was but everything else that’s usually free, was extra. Check in was EXACTLY @ 2 pm. No earlier.
9,3 Excellent
3,0 Mediocre
Cons: The service was bad from Day 1 of my stay. My 15 yo son asked to keep our winter jackets at Concierge but they refused until I intervened. I went to the front desk to borrow an umbrella, they insisted that I return in 2 hours, I question them what happens if I couldn't and there is any emergency, how can I promise to return in 2 hours knowing I am a tourist whom is not familiar with the vicinity. Lastly, there were minimal tolietaries in the bathroom. Toothpaste was charged.
7,0 Good
Pros: This five star hotel in June city is a very good choice for foreign shoppers. The cleaning service is very nice. But the space of every room is kind of small...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and facilities were great! Staff was also very friendly
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Smell at bathroom

Cons: No swimming pool
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice view of the ocean. Great staff
Cons: Hotel does not provide Toothbrush/Toothpaste. The heating system didn't really work that well
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the bedroom, really nice comfort in the room as well. I thought the place was very hospitable and honestly wish I could have stayed another night. Definitely would recommend to another person
Cons: Only real complaint was that I thought the breakfast buffet price was expensive. But otherwise I thought it was an excellent stay and it provided everything that I wanted in a visit
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was super quick and easy, as it should be. Breakfast was buffet style, with both Korean and Western options - and a decent spread compared to some other hotels in Korea. Staff are very professional, and willing to assist at all times. Room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable to stay in. Check out process was a breeze.
Cons: The ocean room view room also came with a view of a barge, which was a bit disappointing - but couldn't be helped. Some of the furniture could use replacement - the desk drawer was broken, and so we needed to use decorative masking tape to keep the thing closed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is easy at the hotel. The location was close to city with many eateries and easy to get around.
Cons: The gym was not well equipped and some of the equipment was not functioning.

Cons: Dated decor with a really ugly out of place pink bench in the living room. Single elevator for entire property. Property needs renovation and updating. Mostly Korean-Asian breakfast which wasn't all that great to start with.

Pros: The location is superb because I love a remote beach and Sansbangsan is stunning. spacious suite of rooms.

5,0 Okay
Pros: Extremely over priced. Buffet was beyond extremely over priced and food was only ok. Will not stay there again. Staff was nice but not nice enough to spend so much money for no reason other than a very small but comfortable room. Beware you will find better values in most of Jeju.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Plenty of room. Supermarket downstairs. Good cafe 50m from hotel.
Cons: Pool was not operational and there is a hefty charge to use it even if in use. The photos advertising the hotel includes shots of the outdoor pool. A bit misleading. Indoor pool also had entry fees. We booked the hotel thinking we could use the outdoor pool. They would not cut us a second room pass. The two “bedroom” was in fact a one bedroom and the second room had nothing in it. Thankfully they moved us to a room with appropriate number of beds. No microwave in room. Tiny towels only.

Pros: The bed was huge and very comfortable. The ocean view was incredible. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We were able to leave our bags at 8 am even though we weren’t checking in until 3pm. The lobby was beautiful. Great place to stay in Jeju!
Cons: The bathroom was a little dated and dingy.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Dongmun night market is at a walking distance. The room was warm.
Cons: It was too loud and busy during the entire staying. Staffs at the front desk were not very professional. We stayed at one of the double bedrooms, which they put two of single beds together... We had to sleep on the crack. Breakfast was aweful, when we ordered the cook some egg, he pointed at the pre-cooked sample looking cold egg dishes to grab. We asked for cooking it again since the dishes look super old and even dry, but he wouldn't cook one egg fry for us. Besides, all other kinds of food were also very cold and dry, corn soup was too watery, almost looked transparent. Scrambled eggs had no flavor. Coffee mugs were not heated up either, so when poured some coffee, in like a minute my coffee turned into an iced americano.
7,1 Good
Pros: The breakfast had many tasty choices.
Cons: My check-in got delayed by a day due to a typhoon. I wrote two e-mails and got no reaction. When I arrived, the staff had troubles understanding what happened and it was very troublesome and frustrating to get my room key.

Cons: Needed to care about more cleaning in detail, also couldn't use the installed electronic induction due to a safety reason(was blocked). it was different than introduction of accommodation

6,3 Good
Pros: The bathroom was clean, the partial view of both the sea and the mountains from the balcony was nice. The two restaurants on the first floor were fantastic, I highly recommend! Also, it’s located about 5 min from the bus stop and minutes away from countless restaurants and convenience stores.
Cons: The room was quite dated. Furniture was fine but the drapes had cigarette holes and what appeared to be blood or other similar stains. Once I inspected further, the vent above the entry space was filthy and was infested with mold. Another thing that had mold was the menu holder in the drawer. It contained a very outdated booklet of hotel policies. There were few toiletries provided and no coffee or tea, just water and a kettle. A little depressing for a room, but luckily it was in a great spot on the ocean avenue. One more thing is that there was no “do not disturb” sign provided like the old booklet said to use and, you guessed it, I was walked in on by a housekeeper while in bed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Ocean view room with a balcony was fantastic! Clean, safe, great location near Hamdeok Beach, and great views. Breakfast was very good (also very Korean - if you're afraid to try something different, you'll be disappointed).
Cons: The desk clerk was very strict about the 3pm check in time.
6,7 Good
Pros: The hotel is located near the beach. The stuff is friendly.
Cons: This is a beach hotel , but there is no place in the room to dry your swimsuits .
7,1 Good
Pros: The room is really big - we were 2 people and got a room with 1 king size bed and one smaller bed. So really enough space. On arrival our room was clean. Two free water and a little bit of free shampoo and towels are provided. In general the room is nice, the location is great, directly on beach (but not private beach, what was written here on booking.com) and the breakfast is acceptable for Korean standards.
Cons: Staff is not helpful. Receptionist not smiling and every time I entered the hotel with my girlfriend he looked at us like we would be illegal here.. Maybe he just didn't liked us. We asked on our 4 day stay 5 questions - no question was answered properly and they made really 0 effort to make it work. So this was a little disappointing. Example I asked for bus time of 701, he said just 'I don't know' that's it. I had the feeling that this hotel suffers from a sickness who is called manager. The staff is really overworked. One younger guy I had the feeling was there 16 hours a day. No matter which time we entered this guy was there. Late at 12pm at reception and at the next morning preparing breakfast and so on... I had the feeling the staff was internal dead. The only guy I saw smiling and talking to people easily was the manager at 8:30 during breakfast.
6,7 Good
Pros: Not a lot!! Location was good...near to beach etc.
Cons: Reception staff when I arrived weren't helpful...all she did was tell me I had to check out by 11am!!! I'd only just arrived. She didn't give me any info about breakfast etc - although it wasn't included in the price. It was like I was an in invenience! The room was very dated, but comfortable enough. Kettle provided, but no tea/coffee etc. I've stayed in hostels/guest houses during my time in Korea for £15 & less, and been treated far better, had a simple breakfast provided and been made to feel welcome.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location is great, right next to the beach. A lot of restaurants around
Cons: When I was booking a room, it was saying - A room with Mountain View. When I checked in, my room windows were facing inner yard with construction site. It was not loud or disturbing, but I was expecting a Mountain View. Hotel management explained that “Mountain View” in this area means that you will not have an ocean view.. basically no view guaranteed. And the room was quite really nice. It could have been more simple but clean and tidy and I would love it, but sockets were falling off and kettle was really dirty, General impression was not great.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Bath tube was really wonderful

Cons: When I asked for an ocean view, I was not expecting it to be overlooking residential houses and then the ocean view was behind the houses. The coffee was only instant coffee. Room service did not come to service the room after extending for a second night. The restaurant was not open at all during the weekend time.

Pros: The location is superb because I love a remote beach and Sansbangsan is stunning. spacious suite of rooms.
Cons: Was a bit soulless, anonymous and weird. Odd music in carpark. Feels like it needs to find its character a bit. One of the reception men laughed at me as we were checking in which wasn't nice. The other guy was charming though.

Pros: The hotel is located near the beach. The stuff is friendly.
Cons: This is a beach hotel , but there is no place in the room to dry your swimsuits .

Pros: Bath tube was really wonderful
