PROS: Great, clean high-end hotel with English speaking staff. We enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Ramada and found it to be a spacious room for our 4 member family. If you're feeling a little adventurous, walking to several sights was no problem. The local taxis are always there to help you find your way back, should you stray too far. They seemed quite familiar with the hotel even in English. The hotel is located on the ocean with a very nice walkway to stroll on. But there is no beachfront. For that you'll have to take a bit of a ride to reach the nearest beaches. The hotel was very gracious when it came to checking in as they let us check in several hours early which helped us out a lot.CONS: Not the hotel's fault, but there is really only 1 city bus that runs in front of the hotel (#30). Also, there is only 1 of the 3 elevators that goes all the way to the ground floor which means you have to walk a ways through the lobby to get out. Like many of the multi-star hotels, the Ramada charges for every little thing including use of the pool, razors and toothbrushes. I've come to understand this is just the way it is.
