Very pleasantly surprised!
There were 4 of us who stayed together for a mommy/daughter weekend.... the hotel was nice, the staff was actually really nice as well..! They were super friendly (not like u would expect with “New Yorkers” lol), and clearly enjoyed what they did. Hotel was clean, beds comfy, good location (really close to Grand Central). Breakfast was great!!! And they had hot chocolate and coffee available 24/7 which was really nice. I hardly ever leave reviews , but I felt like this place deserved it :) Good job Hampton Inn- I hope you let your staff there know they are appreciated.
Confortable rooms and great location
Great location, excellent staff
Just a 5 minute walk to Grand Central Station. We walked all over or took subway. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The breakfast was typical quality expected from Hampton Inn, and the staff was great. They work hard to keep up! There's a great pizza place and a bagel place around the corner. Easy walk to Times Square, Empire State, etc.
Rooms and bathroom are kind of small, but this is because it's New York City. Everything is small, tight quarters. Front of the building has a bit of a view. Rear rooms look at another building. Internet was slow.
Staff are very nice
the air conditioner is noisy
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was a bit chaotic...the seating area isn't big enough, and several people had to stand.
Hotel is clean, remodeled, good location and has breakfast.
Small reception, the staffs were always busy and with line to talk to them. We could have some water bottles at our room for purchase.
Great Location, Comfy Bed, Walk-In Shower, Nice Gym and Breakfest amenties. Great Service.
This is a perfectly fine hotel to stay when traveling for Business. It's right in the middle of offices, restaurants, stores and just a couple a blocks from Grand Central station and subway. Great size room, clean and comfortable beds.
Ups and downs
The breakfast was good had a lot to choose from. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Not enough seating in the breakfast area. The maid service knocked and came in our room twice didn't know we needed to dead bolt our door but they did apologized. One of the elevators was out of service on the last day of our stay and the other one was not working right so going up 15 flights of stairs to get our luggage and coming back down was not ideal.
Liked the kind reception and care
Bathroom did not have locking feature which was really odd and uncomfortable
For the price the room was great! Room was clean.
Room was small, but that was expected. It took a bit to get checked in because they seemed a bit understaffed, but that wasn't too big of a deal for the great price!
