The gym is amazing.
Only about a 3rd of the television stations worked. Also, the water pressure was that of a developing country not of a 4 star hotel.
This is a lovely grand hotel that we’ve always wanted to stay at, and did so for our 30-year anniversary. The service is friendly and efficient in all areas; doormen, bell service, front desk, and the lovely carousel bar team. The bed is super comfy and the towels are lush and plentiful. At the carousel bar, I ordered a “double” glass of wine to take to my room (it wasn’t more than 6 ounces for a “double,”), and when I got there, I didn’t like the wine much but drank it anyway... since my double was so small, I went back for a second glass and mentioned to the bartender (different from the original—must have been a shift change) that I didn’t like the first glass. He poured me a different vintage—delicious! And he said because I wasn’t happy with my first, this one was on the hotel. THAT’s above and beyond service!
Room service meals. We had a burger and fries (both standard and sweet potato) which were all very good. We also had a chicken salad croissant sandwich—also very good; but the shrimp veggie soup was a bit cold, and the caprese salad was not served with heirloom tomatoes as indicated. I specifically questioned the person I spoke with when ordering and let her know if the tomatoes aren’t ripe, I’d rather have the Caesar salad. She assured me they were heirloom and ripe... I probably should have sent it back, but figured I should have known better and doused it with salt to try to get some flavor.
The staff was awesome very accommodating. The bar was oh so busy but kudos to the bartenders for keeping everyone in check. Young hip place to be. Quite an experience for all peoples.
Nada. Awesome location. The other people make it fun. The carousel bar is awesome. Be patient it’s worth it. Much love
Beautiful iconic hotel in great quarter location. The bar and restaurant are very nice. Room has all the desired amenities for a pleasurable stay.

A popular filming spot for movies, this luxury hotel features a heated rooftop pool overlooking the New Orleans skyline and the Mississippi River. A fully equipped gym and the full-service day spa, Spa Aria, are also available at this pet-friendly hotel.
