I thought the staff on reception were excellent so helpful and they really cared that you enjoyed your stay i will recommend this hotel to my family and all my friends and cant wait to go back
The only thing i didnt like was the road outside the hotel was dug up so not good
The staff were superb..so kind and helpful at all times. Everyone from those on reception to the dining room and cleaners couldn't have done more to make is feel welcome and cared for.
There was nothing we didn't like!!
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and it is a disgrace that it should be advertised as a hotel at all. 1 out of 5 please. On arrival after checking in we were informed that we were to stay in the hotel part over the road and although the receptionist could see I was struggling with my luggage, we came by car and had quite a bit, and hinted that it was not going to be easy to lug everything back up the ramp and over the street no assistance was offered but he muttered you should be alright. We assumed that the main building was being renovated as we saw and heard workmen, but in the meantime the whole hotel should have been closed until such time as it is ready for human occupation. Everything was old, scruffy and directly out of the 1950 to 1960 years. The walls were dirty and scuffed, the bed had a horse blanket on it instead of a duvet, there was an electric socket positioned under the old furniture 5 centimetres from the ground, happy crawling over the dirty floor. If you want to switch off the bedside light you will have to get out because the switch is to far away to reach. The bathroom is an absolute disgrace, mould all around the bath and the grouting, a hole in the wall where a plumber had tried to connect the shower over the bath, a sharp screw sticking out of the handle that is to help you climb into the bath to have a shower and a scruffy plastic bath curtain that will stick to you when you take a shower. The bath towels are the size of tea towels but with less absorbency The balcony is cheap with wobbly plastic chairs and a washing line connected to to wall with rusty screws. Breakfast is at best very disappointing with stale bread, cold fried eggs that must have been on the warm shelf since early morning, and tasteless pastry. We realized that breakfast was till 10.30 but did not expect a regime where someone comes to your table at 10.20 to bark that if you want anything else you grab it now because at 10.30 sharp everything will be r
The location was god breakfast was avarage
E asked for a room with a sea view but was put in the sister hotel across the road with sea view but with noisy rd between. Every thing was going on in main hotel but we felt excluded. It was full of Spanish enjoying fiesta we felt they favoured the Spanish
The sound of the sea lapping at the seashore. The quietness of the hotel. The location of the hotel in relation to the town centre. The helpfulness of the reception staff and the restaurant staff.
The bar closed at 23:00.
