9,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location right at JR station and shopping area. Particularly useful if Nagoya is a short stop as part of other travels as it was for us, much easier for the luggage handling. Can't go wrong with a branded name like Marriott for the room and service quality. Room was spacious.
Cons: On the pricey side.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, excellent service, friendly staffs ! what more could you ask for? Will definitely come back for another stay. Hopefully very soon.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location and this is our second visit but won’t go back there again! There are other hotels nearby!
Cons: We booked for two rooms three adults but when checking in, reception told us that we only booked two rooms for two adults! We have kept waiting for a long while after showing the booking details that we paid different price for different number of people per room. We also asked for room upgraded to twin beds which we were happy to pay extra. The staff told us that it will be 4,000 extra per night and we were ok with it. Today, when we checked out we were charge for 5,000 yen per night but we had a flight to catch so we don’t want to waste our time. Wont go back for the third time!

3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Staff are always friendly and helpful
Cons: The room is not very clean, shower room is not perfectly especially there is no air conditioner in the shower room
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good. Close to all the amenities
Cons: Nothing very much as the service was excellent and the rooms were well appointed.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The personnel were very helpful and also went out of their way to make everything right. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the junior suites are quite large by Japanese hotel standards, and well appointed. Efficient A/C with room controls is welcomed in the Japanese humid summers, and included breakfast is varied and high quality along with the serving staff.
Cons: I ONLY have two slight negatives. One is that the location isn't ideal for those using public transport. If one is hauling a couple suitcases, it's probably too far from the main train station to walk, and riding the subway one stop goes a bit too far and requires a few blocks walk back--the closest exit from the closest subway station is the farthest from the platform and requires climbing the stairs. The second slight negative is the price, it's a little high but then if you appreciate the service, cleanliness and size of the rooms, it's not bad.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The view in the room was nice and the room was clean and spacious.

Pros: Fantastic location in the Sakae area, which is full of shopping, restaurants and bars. The room was very large and comfortable. Bathroom was fantastic. The included breakfast was great. All the staff were super.

Pros: Clean and spacious room. I love that they have enough cushions and pillows on the bed and I didn't have to call to get an extra pillow. I was having trouble to get my suitcase down to the street level so I checked with the staff if it's ok to switch the direction the escalator was going (the escalator usually working from the street level to reception floor only, and there's no elevator). The staff actually helped me to carry my suitcase down. Big thanks!!

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Easily accessible. Starbucks in the same building.
Cons: The timings of the housekeeping. I believe this service should be 24hours.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this hotel with almost no research due to a change in travel plans. We were completely satisfied with the stay and would recommend it. The room was very comfortable - one of the biggest we had during our 3 week trip in Japan. We didn't have much contact with any staff members but the ones we did talk with were very pleasant. The location is excellent for transportation, shopping and entertainment. The hotel is accessible by subway but we sure you know which exit to use from the Sakae station as it is huge! A taxi from the station was 1600 in a rainy rush hour and it was the best money we spent in Nagoya! We did make our way back to the station by subway once we had our bearings.
Cons: We purchased the breakfast one of the mornings we were there. The breakfast room is in the basement and is a little dark for my taste. The buffet was a mostly Japanese affair but there are some western choices (bread, eggs, little boxes of cereal) for those wanting a change from the rice/miso/fish breakfast.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: value for money, great hotel with a Starbucks cafe at the bottom. but it's a 500-meter walk to the nearest subway station, but its conveniently near to the airport limousine bus stop. it's near to family marts and Denny's. the staff was very accommodating, you leave your luggage here while traveling to other cities in Nagoya. rooms can fit four people inside
Cons: a bit far from the subway station and shopping district, around 500-800 meter walking distance to the nearest shopping area. it's an old hotel. it's adjacent to Tokyu Hotel Nagoya. and no grocery store near buy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Great central location. Getting to and from Nagoya Station could get hard with luggages, so we caught a taxi to the hotel instead. Sakae Station is easily accessible, just a few minute walk from Beat Western. Starbucks is connected to it so it was great having quality coffee before we venture out.
Cons: Ac wasn’t working, I tried to get another room but it was hard to communicate with the night staff. There is no maintenance personnel to fix it, nor was there a manager you could talk to regarding the issue after 9pm. They did give a fan however which turned out ok since it was cold from the outside.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had only one night in Nagoya and this was the only place we chose to stay in a ryokan vs a hotel. I'm so glad we did! The room was the most spacious of any we had in Japan and we had a small deck to sit outside and view the garden. A nice touch was having a small room with a shelf and mirror outside the bathroom since the bathrooms are small and only accommodate one person at at time. The innkeeper was incredibly kind and welcoming. There are free lockers to use if you need to store luggage before or after your stay. If we had more time in Nagoya, we would have gladly spent it here.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff Hiroshi Sato, the matcha latte, the clean and modern Fuji room, the vending machine...everything!
Cons: The location is slightly far from the JR train station. About 5mins by taxi.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The facility was also quite beautiful and calm despite its proximity to downtown Nagoya.
Cons: Unfortunately, neighboring guests did not respect the “please be quiet” policy. After we spoke with the owner, the upstairs guests were much quieter on the second night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The experience of staying in traditional Japanese accommodation was a wonderful start to my trip! Having a garden view was an extra bonus.

2,2 Mediocre
Pros: Has a laundry mechines.
Cons: I have been staying with Mystays hotels since I've been in Japan the last month. However this particular hotel has failed miserably. The whole duration I stayed here I kept the do not disturb sign on the door as usual, this morning before I left I made the bed myself and cleaned the room and turned the lights off then left. How ever when I returned this evening I came back to a room with all of my bedding ripped of my bed and the pillow cases of my pillows and all sitting in a chair as if they left my room in the middle of cleaning it. I specifically said for no one to disturb my room. I am disgusted by the staff that they chose to enter the room when I stated I didn't want any one in and the fact they dissassembled my bed and didn't have the courtesy to fix it. This is my worst experience I have had with any hotel in my entire life. I feel as if my money was stolen from me, being charged the night fee just to have this happen. Completely unacceptable.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: A relatively cheap hotel close to the centre of the city (walking distance from a lot of attractions, including the Central Park). I came for a concert in Diamond Hall, and it was really good to live so close to the venue. The rooms are small, but absolutely sufficient. Everything is well-planned, clean, no problems with the sanitary equipment, good breakfast... What else can be needed?

Pros: nice view, best room setup, very elegant
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a less expensive option right at the centre of the city, some 3 minutes walk from the Central Park and the TV tower. The room I stayed in was rather small, but it was enough even for some socializing with my friend
