10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were incredible and location couldn't be beat. Parking was only €5 per day. Great restaurants with super views of Guggenheim.
Cons: Air conditioning in our room didn't work. Refrigerator was broken and there were moldy things inside.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Upscale, not overly pretentious, nice location across from the Guggenheim. Inexpensive for a five star hotel.
Cons: Nothing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely hotel, comfortable space and great, helpful staff. We booked a classic double room which was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished but if we returned I’d probably go up a grade to get a window with view. Brilliant location opposite the Guggenheim and by the water - very pleasing location and a short walk / taxi into town. We thought breakfast was expensive at 26e per person but we tried it one day and it was delicious and a generous buffet. The rooftop terrace was a delight as well. The ground floor cafe was also great and provided a very satisfactory alternative for breakfast and lunch. Bar 61 was a comfortable bar and lounge area but rather dark at night We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms. Very good breakfast with stunning views of Guggenheim museum.
Cons: N/A
6,0 Good
Pros: Since the star of any trip to Bilbao is likely the Guggenheim, the location here cannot be beat. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, and the view from the breakfast terrace is amazing.
Cons: While the breakfast does offer gluten-free options, they have not trained the serving staff on what that means. In our case this meant that - despite ordering GF bread - we were given regular bread and not told about it until we were almost done. Cool!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff and building. Excellent breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location across from the Guggenheim (10 minute walk from the City Centers, Bilbao is small). This is arguably a 5 star facility charging much lower than comparable places anywhere else. Valet parking service, but remember to go to the alley behind the hotel, where there is an entrance that is much better for dropping off the car, and to unload your luggage. Excellent Gym with very new equipment. Lovely Bar with skilled bartenders.
Cons: The lighting system in the room was a little problematic...... Either the Master was "on" for any lights to work (if Master was "off", could not turn on bathroom lights to shower, while keeping the room lights off so my wife could keep sleeping)....
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the City.
Cons: The breakfast on the terrace was superb, with amazing views, but it was very expensive at €26. I went elsewhere for breakfast after the first morning.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom architecture was unique and romantic. The reception staff was incredibly helpful.
Cons: Seemed that the thermostat was not altering the climate at all. We had to keep our window open. Also hair conditioner would be nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A treat for weary travelers, this hotel was a bit of respite from the cadence of sightseeing. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. Service was professional and efficient. The details of this luxury hotel were the icing on the cake - turn down service, aromatherapy sleep spray, complimentary robe and slippers. Proximity to the Guggenheim and promenade is unbeatable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was sublime — a fitting pair with the Guggenheim across the street. Don’t skip breakfast on the rooftop terrace — likely the best place to see the museum, and the food was standout.
Cons: Bathroom’s a little strange: Great tub, but wet room ahower’s weirdly placed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are friendly, good location its just opposire of Guggenheim museum
Cons: It's excellent

Pros: It was very clean and cozy, the rooms are very spacious and minimal in a good way. Staff has been very kind and the location close to the Guggenheim Museum and the city center is unbeatable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Extra large bed and size of the room made the stay as being at home. I also liked of the museum and walking distance to Guggenheim.
Cons: Hair conditioning was not very good, but not important, you can always bring yours
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Infrastructure is excellent; so is the staff - Gorka and Ruben in particular
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for visiting the Guggenheim museum and the Bellas artes museum, having a walk to downtown or taking the tramway I was offered a suite instead of the room I had booked. The staff is very friendly at the reception and in the breakfast room. (why does the software gives only 8.0 ? I would give 9 or 9.5)
Cons: Only one thing : the suite is not soundproof and any noise from the next room could be heard.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delisous. Great variety of food is offered including helathy variants and meals for people with special diet - gluten-free, laktosa-free. The bath room was really big with interesting shower.
Cons: In our room noise (TV, loud talk, houskeeping) from other rooms, hallway was quite audiable.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location. Very friendly prt if staff- reception- Ane, breakfast- chef.
Cons: Overdeodorised air. It makes your head hurt. It os really over exagurated. And there was a group of children who were very loud so we could not sleep.
7,0 Good
Pros: Rooms are big and clean, breakfast was good.
Cons: The management of this hotel : waiting time to check-in 45' ( Wednesday Jan. 01 around 18.00) Congrats ! In over 150 nights/year in hotels worldwide you guys/girls were the first ones doing this to me :-) Only one receptionist present = simply unacceptable and the reason why i won't be coming back. Fortunately the only person present ( a young lady) remained calm and friendly although she had 8 to 10 nervous people in front of her. Respect for her !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a nice convenient hotel with big rooms. Great breakfast and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It’s not in the center of Bilbao but it’s a nice quiet location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast ! Fresh orange juice ! Stunning vews from the panoramic windows. Spacious standard room. Comfortable garage parking. Friendly staff.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfort staying and kind staff; not far from old city, great breakfast. I would go back if I returned to Bilbao.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was good. The facilities were good and staff very helpful
7,4 Good
Pros: Facilities as they stand we're terrific. Clean, contemporary. Business luxury.
Cons: Staff– a bit disorganized and not super helpful. Individually, they were polite and kind. But I expected more from a 4* hotel. Looked at me like I had three heads every time I asked for a restaurant number or a taxi. Their answer to everything was giving me a map. LOCATION. This is BARELY in Bilbao in my opinion. The hotel is literally located on the exit ramp leaving the city. It barely fit on the map of center city. If you're going for business, it's perfect. But if you plan on exploring the city, get ready to walk, take trains, take buses, etc. I would highly recommend that tourists DO NOT stay in this hotel. It's at least a 45 minute walk from the Guggenheim & most of the tourist attractions. It is KIND OF close to the Old Part, but still a 15 minute walk.
8,6 Excellent
Pros: new hotel, clean and modern.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were very comfortable. Great bathrooms. View from our rooms were great. Foyer of reception was very nice.
Cons: A bit of a walk from the main shopping district, up hill on the way back so the legs got a work out. The usual tiny bar fridge didn't help. Had to book 2 double rooms for our family of 4.
7,3 Good
Pros: The room was very big and clean, the big shower was fantastic I would like to have the same in my house. We could sleep well even if all the city was celebrating a festival. Last but not least the parking was really huge for our van
Cons: Everything was fantastic
7,7 Good
Pros: Large, comfortable room. Great variety of food at breakfast. Handy for motorway and old part of city. Parking available under the hotel.
7,0 Good
Pros: Spacious hotel
Cons: Restaurant was very basic
7,3 Good
Pros: Huge room, super comfortable bed, 5 min walk to tram stop and -10min journey to Guggenheim
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious.
Cons: An article of clothing was left behind and we contacted the hotel an hour after check out with the specific location of the garment, and they were not able to recover it. (No lost and found ect.)
7,0 Good
Pros: The breakfast is great and even it is relatively far from the city center, it is very easy to reach public transportation from it. No charges is invoiced in case of no-show when you book with "free cancelation" condition.
5,3 Okay
Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable. The choice of food at breakfast was very comprhensive and the staff very helpfull.
Cons: The waste bin in the bathroom was very small and hadnt been emptied. There was no other receptacle for waste.Travelling to the hotel by car from the City centre was a real nightmare.
6,7 Good
Pros: okay , staff spoke some English
Cons:
6,7 Good
Pros: staff was okay
Cons: breakfast poor , but okay for Spanish ( Basc ) Standards
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel. Huge modern bedroom and bathroom. Super buffet breakfast in wonderful breakfast room. I can't speak highly enough. Thr price was absurd, 52 euros for the room, 20 euros for two breakfasts and 11 euros to park in the basement. Obviously these prices reflect the current Spanish economy and tourism, as otherwise my 83 euro stay would have been three times the price. It's a five minute walk to lightrailway station which takes you to the Gug. We walked back to the hotel from the Gug - it took about half an hour including a walk through the old town.
Cons: Absolutely no complaints at all.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, (thanks for your patience) clean rooms.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean room. Good bathroom. Amazing, spacious fitness room! It was one of the reasons we picked the hotel and it did not disappoint. Got queen sized bed as requested. Breakfast was fine. Hotel had Christmas dinner and lunch for the holidays, which was great since the rest of town closes down on Christmas eve/day.
Cons: Some of the breakfast bread was often dry. Restaurant claimed to take my fruit allergies into account for Cristmas lunch but food still contained the fruits in question. Found a silverfish in the bathroom on the last morning before leaving (though everything otherwise clean).

Pros: The location is perfect, very near to the Guggenheim museum and opposite the zubizuri bridge. Few minutes away from the center and the old town. Supermarket, bars and restaurants are just nearby and reachable by foot. The room’s clean and bed was comfy, bathroom was spotless. Oksana the staff was super helpful and kind. We extended our stay for another night due to an unforeseen circumstance and was served by Boussad, also very warm & friendly. Breakfast was good, variety of food to choose from and mostly are pastries which is good enough for us to start our day, and of course the coffee deliciously good.
Cons: The first night we stayed in the room 405, the air conditioner wasn’t really functioning well as we felt rather hot, we had to open the window to let the colder air filled the room. The room was overall ok, it’s just that one thing.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: The constant smell of sewage from the bathroom
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn’t be better, a short walk to the Guggenheim in one direction and Casco Viejo in the other. The staff were really friendly and the room was a good size for the price. The bed was super comfortable too.
Cons: The showers could do with an upgrade, the one in my room wasn’t great. And the rooms aren’t so sound proof either.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel in the perfect location - walking distance to all museums, old town, funicular, airport bus. Comfortable, clean room. Good restaurant downstairs.

Pros: Two female travelers: Comfortable beds, safe, clean room. Just across the cool foot bridge to everything downtown. Good location -- walkable to the Gugg. Very welcoming of foreigners and most of the staff speaks English very well and were able to communicate complicated transit directions to me (like how to get to the bus that takes you to the airport) despite my limited Spanish. We were even able to borrow an adapter for our phones. It's not "the perfect" central location, but good price relative to hotels that are right at the city center. If you want the air conditioning to cool you room down, leave a key in the placard when you leave for the day, otherwise it turns off to save energy. Room smelled clean and fresh. We were fine with the size of the bathroom area.
Cons: The lobby sitting area needs a good dusting/cleaning and maybe new carpet in the hallways.
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location to discover all the sites of Bilbao by foot, ease to travel by public transport from Bilbao Airport, hotel room was very clean, check-in efficient & good value bar.
Cons: Breakfast was in my opinion a little too expensive.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We’ve come to realised that Barcelo group of hotels may have the same high standard of quality of service in all their hotels. They are consistent, reliable and true. What you see in their site is really what you get. No false advertisement. It’s also value for money. Though some of their locations may be far from city center, they are nevertheless close to a train station which makes it convenient to move around. In our last trip, I made last minute changes to my bookings to stay in a Barcelo hotel instead. No regrets.

Pros: Marvelous bar and breakfast
Cons: Hard to park close by
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, quick and easy check-in, clean and comfortable room
Cons: Heard quite a lot of noise from other rooms, it was difficult to sleep. Woke up early from noise above
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to explore the city! Huge comfy bed. Everything was nice and clean.
6,7 Good
Pros: The bed & shower!
Cons: I reserved a Superior Room and ended in a small room without view, no open bathroom and very small. The room was freezing cold when we came in and we had to put the heater very strong on. Also, bathrobe and flipflops were missing. Due to the fact that it was just a short night we decided just to take it for what it is and make the best out of it. However, the girl on the phone for room service was not friendly and didn’t ask for more and with checking-out there has not been asked how our stay was / making any friendly conversation. Bad luck with the room can happen, but details and hospitality has to be on point. Especially for a four star hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in the middle between guggenheim and old town. Very helpful staff. Absolutely stunning breakfast with everything your soul want. I also asked for picnic for last day cause i was leaving early- and had fruits and hot sandwich. The reception area is nice With cosy bar.
Cons: No free water at the room

Pros: Location is very central. Close to railway station, but train noise do not come to rooms of Begoña. Junior suit was spacious and with comfortable double bed and pillows. Also the staff was kind and helpfull. Our arrival was after official check in hours, but the stuff kindly waited for our arrival and provided us with warm welcome, information about the city and were ready to hand us any amenity needed e.g. hair dryer, iron etc.
Cons: If there is one thing that raised our eyebrows then it was the strong smell of detergent or other chemical substance whose presence in a lobby and corridors were a bit overpowering. Luckily in our room its presence was at some level of tiny hint and hence hadn't left too negative feelings about it.

Cons: the first room we stayed in had dirty walls, the bathroom door didn't close and from there came a nasty smell, at the bathroom we found cockroaches. The next day the staff changed our room, in the second room the conditions were acceptable, but it was cold
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Even though we didn’t know it was a hostel it was fabulous. Our room was very roomy and the bed super comfy and the shower was glorious. Will definitely stay here if I come back. Try the cafe next door, very sweet people and good value for meals.

Pros: The location was perfect and the windows isolated the little noise from the terrace completely. It is in a pedestrian area, so no noise from cars at all! The bathroom was clean. There was a wonderfull vegan place very close to the hostel, La Camelia!
Cons: There was no table in the room.

Pros: Location and overall feel of the hotel is very nice
Cons: the rooms are so dark, and often things dont work - having stayed a number of weeks in different rooms there are three reoccurring probblems. Lights dont work, shaver socket does not work, heating does not work. Only once had all three but usually get 2 out of the three each week - only once had a room with no problems at all - such a shame for a new property.
