Pros: The setting is lovely, comfortable bed.
Cons: Breakfast was a very expensive extra, I think a continental breakfast could have been included.

Pros: Loved the wonderful family who own and run the Toile Blanche. Huge, comfy bed. Wonderfully quiet location and delicious breakfast. Sadly we weren’t able to try the dinner menu but I should imagine the food is excellent
Cons: Our only minor complaint would be the noise outside our suite in the morning.

Pros: Great location. Friendly hosts. Great breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful, delicious, well served and just enough for my husband and me because we do not like to eat much in the morning. But in my point of view, it was overpriced (my opinion is based on our travelling experience to other countries, Europe included).
Cons: The glass curtain in the bathroom seems to be a commom international problem. You have to use the shower very carefully, otherwise too much water on the floor :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and beautiful boutique hotel. Very clean and well kept. The team were very friendly and helpful too.
Cons: Restaurant wasn’t open for lunch or dinner meals during our stay but it is over the summer months.
Overview Reviews
Guests are taken on a visual journey around the world at the Five Seas Hotel Cannes. Each object and painting that embellishes the public spaces, rooms, and suites has been designed specifically for the hotel by the best craftsmen around the world. From superb embroidered folding screens, to an antique collection of blue porcelain, each piece alludes to exotic landscapes, creating spaces that are unique, authentic, and intimate. Located behind the famous Croisette, the hotel is ideally situated to take in the best that Cannes has to offer. On the hotel’s stunning rooftop with views across Cannes is the stylish bistrot chic Le Roof, an innovative concept that revolves around flavors, sharing, and discovery. The young and talented Chef Arnaud Tabarec, a 36-year-old globetrotter, puts his own spin on the kind of food he loves: simple, delicious, and inventive. These lively surroundings extend out onto the terrace and toward the infinity pool.

Pros: I loved the roof top pool and selection of cocktails. The bed was amazing! It’s in a great location, right next to everything.. Beach, shops, restaurants and bars.
Cons: The shower! I had a room with a bath, so when you placed the shower head in it’s holder and used it as shower, it sprayed all over the floor and flooded the bathroom.. stupid design really!

Pros: Great breakfast, shuttle service, very friendly and accommodating staff, assistance with dinner reservations, drinks and snacks at the pool, pool towels, abundance of sun beds, newspapers and magazines
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was extremely comfortable and agreeable. The style of the property was pleasing, the room we had was comfortable and clean and well appointed. The staff were terrific, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. All the staff we dealt with could speak English, even if we tried our French on them, but they did not make our efforts feel inadequate! The outside areas, including the outdoor lounges, the pool surrounds and grassy areas were extensive and were never busy - there was always space to relax. The pool is a good size, that allowed for serious swimming, if that is your thing. All in all, a terrific place to stay. Far enough out of town to provide a feeling of space, but close enough to St Paul-de-Vence and other towns to be convenient.
Cons: Nothing!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, small boutique and fantastic staff throughout our stay... pool, room, jacuzzi!
Cons: Road outside could be busy and noisy at times. Breakfast was ok, if you paid for the ‘full-breakfast’ you will survive till dinner. The ‘light-breakfast’ was not really worth the €12.00 per person, for a few pastries, juice, coffee. Otherwise to eat this in the dining area was delightful!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff. Given lift in 2CV to local restaurant.
Cons: Shower. Too complicated and unnecessary squirts things like a stand up jacuzzi. Couldn’t regulate hot water easily had to call membervif staff to turn diwn as water scalding hit. He ended up struggling as well and getting very hot n sweaty in the steam. A

Pros: A unique boutique hotel. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were typically French with exceptional embroidered linen and gorgeous antique furniture. The chef shops in the market each day and creates a menu using that days produce. It is cooked in front of you. Exceptional. Each evening candles line the paths to the pool and around the garden. Magical.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A typical Provençal villa . Beautiful rooms with lovely antique pieces and comfortable beds . Restaurant underneath the trees . We did not have dinner here as we had already booked a restaurant in the gorgeous little town of Mougin - which is a steep 15 min walk away . Breakfast was exquisite , with freshly picked fruit, fresh yoghurt , nuts and home made jams and lovely tiny pastries all under a canopy of trees . A delightful small pool in the garden for dipping in when it all gets too hot . The lady who runs the hotel and her nephew were charming and could not of been more helpful . Would most definitely recommend this small boutique hotel for anyone wanting an authentic Provençal experience .
Cons: Nothing .

Pros: We had an inauspicious start as our original room was not up to standard. However, we were immediately upgraded to a delightful room with sea view and very happy with that.

Pros: It's like 30 seconds to sea walk(beach walk? Anyway it's the red carpet walking street and everything you want to see is there. Breakfast is nice. Breakfast on the little balcony is extremely nice(and very French. Highly recommend to everyone!
Cons: The only reminder here for the ones driving to the hotel is don't park at the 20s walk market. It seems like a parking lot during night but the cat will be tolled away in the early morning. Go to the parking lot the hotel recommends. This is a 200euro lesson.

Pros: Beautiful functional room, great saff, definitly a place to stay! LOcation right in the city center. close to everyhing

Pros: liked the hotel and the room
Cons: Did not like the fact that there is no transportation to the hotel. All taxi/Uber cars drop you off outside the walls of the village and then you need to drag heavy suitcases on cobbled streets for 20 min. A 5-star hotel should provide some solution to this problem.

7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent location for central Cannes. Staff polite & welcoming.
Cons: Not informed of closure of pool whilst clearly pre-planned work taking place. Beach area closed at same time. When asked reasons was asked to wait for staff to discuss, but gave up after waiting 20 minutes. Because of size of Hotel & numbers of guests, sometimes overlooked for service at breakfast (i.e asking for drink requests). Waited nearly 45minutes one time on pool terrace before needing to go & collect menu ourselves to request service. Mainly good time spent here but too many small details lacking to encourage return, considering status of Hotel
9,0 Excellent
Pros: room size was good for a city property. Great location.
Cons: could not easily close the water closet door very tight. Sheets had a permanent stain and were not changed upon request. it was a stain not left over dirt. They should have changed them.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Personnel is intangible asset of this hotel, all of them, especially Thierry-the concierge, his helping hand as Aleksandr and Benjamin and others. Breakfasts are really good and healthy and hostess, who speaks not only English but even Russian, they are adorable girls, who greet you with a good mood:) cheerful environment. Location is simply perfect. Comfortable bed for sleeping. Spa is quite small, but to rest and have relax procedures is more than fine. Gym also is ok and working 24/7.
Cons: Cleaning three times per day...r u kidding me?!:)) like to clean very much, as for me one time per day is more than fine ...closet smells weird, as old fashioned parfume, which was unpleasant, but couple days with open window and the air was good.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Hotel beach was closed for an event which is not informed before we couldn't use it but this was one of the main reason we choosed this hotel. Also they charged for parking it wasn't inform before reservation or when we reached to hotel. 45 euro a day has to be mentioned. Because there were options free parking.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Rooms, bed very comfortable, great check in and concierge service. Location was perfect

Cons: Place, people, service, food, room service, Kid's Club "P'tit VIP" so great : my daughter loves it so much !!!!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: perfect location
Cons: we stayed in a superior room, it was a tight space and a little tired and did not have breakfast as it was very expensive private beach was closed due to half of the promenade\beach being under construction and was not mentioned when booking, also hotel pool area was also under construction with a temporary extension to the restaurant which resulted with the pool being closed for the 2 out of 5 day stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, staff, staff, staff & the property itself.
Cons: Thinking.......
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredible, so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good and the cocktails were great.
Cons: The private beach was closed during our stay which we were not informed of when booking or before arriving to the hotel. Our room was upgraded which was fantastic but it was about a 10/15 min walk to access the beach because of all the construction work going on. So I can imagine our stay would have been even greater when the beach is open.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in an amazing location and is probably the best in Cannes. The facilities and rooms are up to standard and very well maintained with great staff. The concierge staff is very helpful and assisted in making our stay truly special.
Cons: It was quite busy and full on check out which took a while to process.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular room, wonderful location, extremely professional and attentive staff.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We were traveling with two little dogs and they were very welcomed in the hotel and both get a nice goody bag with presents. As it was my husbands birthday-we got a nice bottle of champagne from the hotel in the room. Breakfast is amazing-it is worth to go to this hotel only for breakfast-great concept and set-up. Rooms are very beautiful and nicely designed-thats the plus of recently renovated hotels.
Cons: Guy who was checking as in forgot to make us dinner reservation. For lunch I would recommend brasseries near by because the hotel restaurant menue was very limited and nothing special at all ( like day and night comparong with breakfast:)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Well located,,very nest and clean.
Cons: Nothing really
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel. Simply marvelous and beautiful. The beach is literally across the road. The facility is amazing. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Jeremy (the employee at the beach) and the young lady who is training at the bar need serious training on customer hospitality. I am not sure if they are this rude to everyone or just solo travelers. I’m not sure if it was due to the fact that I wasn’t a skinny white person with a Gucci bag. Also, the beach timing can be improved. It is currently 9.30 am to 5 pm, whereas sunrise is 7.30 am and sunset is at 7.30 pm. The most disappointed thing is that although the hotel is expensive, you have to pay 42 Euros or 21 euros for a sun bed. This is silly and it should be included in with the room. The prices are very high. Also, you have to book the sun bed and Jeremy at the beach told me the sun beds at the pier were booked “2 weeks in advance”. Ridiculous claim. Raphael, a lovely staff member, helped me get one.

Pros: The rooms are clean and modern with a comfy bed. The kitchenette is handy. The staff are very friendly and offered great local restaurant suggestions. The villa has excellent security and being able to self checkin is very handy.
Cons: Nothing it was a great stay. The only thing I would have liked would have been an additional pillow but I am sure if I had of asked it would have been supplied :)

Pros: Nice location near to beach
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, clean room and a friendly and helpful staff. We liked our stay at Villa Velvet very much. The place s close to the beach and restaurants, yet conveniently far from the main street and thus silent and quiet, enabling for a nice terrace breakfasts. Staff was very friendly and supportive, we received umbrellas and some extra beach stuff for free to enjoy the sun time. Building and rooms are clean and modern, cleaned every day. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen (the larger room had a washing maschine which was totally cool). Villeneuve-Loubet is a small town which looks as a typical summer seaside village, but once you discover the old village you will find it amazing. Also, it is very close to Nice, Moncao, Eze and also some fantastic cities like Saint Paul de Vence or Valbonne (totally recommended!). Overall, a very good location for a vacation stay!
Cons: We had two rooms, the smaller one had a great terrace for morning breakfasts or evening wine discussions. The larger was more comfortable due to size, but the two points potentially worth mentioning: there were a separate toilet room and a separate shower room (located at opposite parts of the apartment). This was ok, but in the toilet there were no sink to wash hands, so you need to go the shower room. Kinda weird design I must say. The other thing you should be aware is that the room located on ground zero at the back of the building is a bit dark - it has an own small garden patio but is a bit hidden from sun. Not a huge disadvantage but clearly visible as compared to front side rooms.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, Villa Velvet was in the perfect location. Our apartment was cleaned every day and the staff were very welcoming and friendly - their English was far better than our poor French! The apartment was very secure - we had our own key and a code to come and go at our leisure.
Cons: The room was a little small - we stayed in a studio apartment - but we did have 6 weeks worth of luggage with us!

Pros: Beds! View! We had a terrace with two comfy chairs and a table. This was ocean front and river front. Fantastic breakfast, most complete buffet I have seen on this two month trip. Service was crisp and warmly delivered. Very professional staff, youngish and really worked to please us. Well done!
Cons: There were a few steps in unexpected places. Seniors and handicapped should be aware of this. However, they were pretty minimal and help was available.

Pros: Brilliant little family run hotel, very pretty, clean, great balcony, perfect location! 5 stars.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It's a simple hotel but so authentic - Southern France, Provence - so nicely decorated with good style. Very well-kept property, extremely clean and neat. Pure pleasure to stay here - just make sure to take rooms towards the sea or with partial seaview to get full value for money. Only thing to improve: Breakfast is ok but not partucularly good. Ok variety but very basic standard. I would recommend a few quality bio products or raise the prize and have many different things to et - but nettet quility.
Cons: Nothing. ..I appreciated everything.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Charming bed and breakfast hotel very near the sea and lots of nice restaurants. Lovely breakfast and convivial proprietor who was very helpful. Perfect if you want somewhere small and friendly.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Charming little French hotel with a happy welcoming manager. We found it easily and thought the location was very convenient to bus/train, beach and a range of reasonably priced restaurants. The little buffet breakfast with fresh bread, croissants and a nice range of trimmings was good value at 9EUR. It always helps when the coffee is good
Cons: Nothing comes to mind

Pros: An extraordinary location in Nice. The suite was extraordinary with an amazing view
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The Negresco is one of the greatest hotels in the world. Completely unique with its quirky collection of art and antiques and its combination of old and new art.Rooms are all individual and charming. Breakfast is excellent, although I wish they had not destroyed the old Carousel in their renovations,
Cons: The people who were attending functions blocking the main door smoking. As most of them were women who were some what "glammed up", they frankly looked like cheap tarts. The management needs to find a solution to this.
6,0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel Unbelievable Customer Service Unique atmosphere There is no hotel in the World to bear Negresco
Cons: Absolutely nothing

Pros: Great location & property.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very very beautiful like an art museum The standard of food was very high The bar was wonderful with superb ambience and cocktails
Cons: The staffing seemed low as evening meals in the bistro/restaurant seemed consistently understaffed on multiple occasions. The staff were very nice but too thinly stretched
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Great location, view, staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the decoration, everything’s Perfect
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Negresco is a lovely opulent hotel with fabulous art and sculptures dotted about. We were given a refurbished room with a lovely view of the sea which was beautifully decorated. The bathroom was good although there was a shower in the bath which was quite high and not that easy to get into. The housekeeping staff did a great job as the room was kept spotless with turndown at night. Breakfast was of a very high standard with a lot of choice and we ate outside which was lovely.
Cons: I felt some of the staff weren't as friendly as others eg the concierge
6,0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was fabulous. We could sit and drink our coffee while looking out at the Mediterranean Sea each morning. Being located across from the Promenade Anglais meant we could literally exit our hotel door and begin our day walking along this magnificent waterfront. Great restaurants and cafes in the area. Very luxurious and elegant setting. Iconic French Riviera experience!
Cons: Everything was great!
5,0 Okay
Pros: Too old and really expensive place to stay
Cons: The food was terrible and ridiculously expensive.

Pros: Clean big rooms and fully equipped
Cons: None
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice, the apartment was was large enough for 3-4 people. The kitchen was well equiped and we really enjoyed the iHome.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Pool area fair, but pool was needed, but detached from property and not as good as pictured & with artificial grass. Has parking, but construction noise in valley was continuous disruptive background noise. Supposed to be restaurant and bar, fine print after booking stated no restaurant, but was only told when checked in, no bar.
Cons: Sent request before arriving for early check in, request ignored. Is advertised can request early check in and might be a charge, as France was experiencing heatwave, I was willing to pay. Receptionist upon arrival disagreed with booking.com charges, I asked for Mgt, request was ignored and only acknowledged upon checkout. Checkout staff apologised but seem to know this receptionist was trouble. Asked when I arrived re early check in and reception staff was rude and dismissive, stating late afternoon check in is standard. After Early attempt to check in I familiarised and walked past front door of allocated apartment (had to be provided for WiFi access that took a long time to work, to the annoyance of receptionist), where I noted cleaning staff had left, and knew that venue was not fully occupied. I was told by receptionist that ‘possibly’ maintenance staff might need to do work in apartment, so cleaning staff exit would not allow early check in. After 4pm checkin time (I arrived around noon, no food available at venue (as stated above no restaurant or bar facilities), same receptionist was annoyed as she had logged out of her PC thinking I did not understand French! Apparently is annoying to come back to get keys and check in, when I was told to! Apartment has kitchenette with cooking utensils & pots, but no plates, that food could be served on. Minimal cutlery. We did have few small nibble bowls (too small for cereal bowl), and few plastic picnic plates. Cleaner cart was still at front door when checked in after 4pm. Unclean tiles around bath & toilet entrances which would be clean with a scrub, otherwise clean to be fair. I was disappointed with standard of facilities and sorry I was locked in and pre paid for 2nights. Next day I went to ask re pool towels that was not offered previous day, unfortunately same receptionist was there, and quip rude reply was, pool towels are charged at x euros per day.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: amazing and very comfortable
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great staff, very good prices.
Cons: Some of the rooms could use an update
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Ordered double room- got very big apartment with balcony and stunning view. So thanks goes to night sift manager :)
Cons: Food in restaurant a bit pricey for what you get.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was as clean and orderly as it can get, just perfect! There was well enough room for us. The kitchen did not lack anything either. As far as the apartment goes, this is perfect for a long stay.
Cons: The minigolf was a great disappointment. My son was looking forward to free minigolf, and even cried when we couldn't play the first day. When we went there the following day, he could have cried again. The lanes were in bad shape: some were full of water or leaves, and most were partly broken. Several lanes were impossible to play because the tubes or ramps were broken. It makes no sense to give people clubs because the course is not playable.
7,9 Good
Pros: Fair value for money
Cons: The cleaning schedule was not suitable for holiday.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: warm reception, spacious room for group, spotless clean, balcony with table, coffee machine, garden
Cons: Not cheap, even for off-season, but we had a good stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is like it is described, and more than that!
Cons: For family with two kids the swimming pool area could be bigger and allow more toys and “activity”. Pool rules are strict

Pros: The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, greeting us with smiles always! The double room was very spacious, immaculately clean with excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was again extremely clean with fresh towels and linen provided daily. We were able to make use of the Chantilly's parasols and beach mats for free which made our time on the beach much more comfortable. On our last day we took the breakfast and it was fantastic! Home made cakes, fresh bread, croissants, fresh fruit, cheese, meats....the list goes on! We would not hesitate to return to the Chantilly on our next visit to Cagnes Sur Mer.

Pros: Frederique and Gerard were great hosts. They were so welcoming. Try to remember when an owner helped you with your bags to your room or showed you around the breakfast buffet. The location id superb. Close to train station and beach. Dozens of good restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard for me bit my wife was just fine.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach, city centre and train station. Lovely terrace to have breakfast. Wonderful hosts, thoughtful and considerate. Comfortable, clean and good size room.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This is a charming hotel beside the Hippodrome, where there are sulky races on hot summer nights. It's a short walk to a nice, although rather pebbly beach, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hosts are welcoming and polite, and the breakfast - outside in a secluded front garden area - is simple but pleasant.
Cons: The breakfast buffet area is rather small and if there are other guests staying, it gets a bit crowded. At one point in our stay there was a strong odour from the toilets.
