Dreamland is a nice, old-fashioned, but up to date, mom-and-pop motel. The kind of place we say we want to stay in, but don't often reach. It's located on the edge of Moose Jaw, on a quiet street, but two minutes from TransCanada. Good bathroom, and nice wood paneling in the room. Affordable and comfortable. It has the usual amenities--free parking steps from your door, easy to use and excellent wifi, and a (large) refrigerator--that you tend to get from 1 and 2 star motels but not from the 4 star expensive joints. Glad we found it.
One tough thing about budget motels is they seem to attract more smokers (but it was fine inside the room). The problem that was ours was we couldn't open the windows, and had to run the noisy AC on a cool summer night. I commented to the owner in the morning, and he said I should have said something. Indeed, the window was openable. It would have been a great stay with open window, but this was my fault, not the motel's. We'd be happy to stay there again.
The bed was comfortable. They have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The shower was hot. The wood interior room walls were quaint
The bedspreads looked dirty and old. No heat. The pilot lights in all the rooms weren’t working. Only one overhead light. No table side reading lamps. The interior room chain lock was inoperable. The door hook for the chain completely missing off door. Couldn’t get the tv to work.
Clean and bed was comfortable
Room was dark. Only one light. Latch was broken on screen door. Coffee maker but no cups.
Good value for the cost.
Not bad for 1 night stay.
Very dated and lamp was broken
