Agriturismo San Lorenzo - Montepulciano - Building
1
9,8 Excellent (135 reviews)
R1 408+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Agriturismo San Lorenzo in Rapolano Terme, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Museo dell'Antica Grancia e dell'Olio and San Giovanni Terme Rapolano. Free self parking is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the pool and the excellent location, such gorgeous Italian premises and very friendly hosts- highly recommend San Lorenzo for your Dream Tuscan holiday
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The location is very convenient to the Raccordo Siena-Bertolle, in a rural zone between the Serre di Rapolano and Rapolano Terme town centers: it's one of the few places you can stay that don't require driving 20 minutes through hairpin turns every time you go out. The buildings and grounds are immaculate, and the pool is large and looked very inviting (although we ultimately didn't have a chance to use it). Staff was uniformly helpful and friendly, and with the aid of our phone apps we were able to communicate adequately (seemingly only the owner's daughter speaks English, and she was only there on the week-end). A nice bonus was the shaded parking, very helpful in the summer heat. The robot lawn mower kept us amused.
Cons: Americans may find that the shower volume, as well as the air conditioning capacity, though adequate, are not what they're used to. The last few hundred meters of road leading to the property are intimidatingly narrow.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic time here in the sunshine, with a beautiful pool, great location and totally looked after! Wonderful place to stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, with a view over the plain from the pool area. A place of peace and quiet. Great breakfast, with fresh cakes every day and good savoury options (not always the case in Italy). Superfriendly and welcoming staff.
Cons: Wifi is too weak. Some dividing walls are paper thin, so that may influence your experience, depending on the volume level of your neighbours.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gessica and her parents are just lovely people who go out if their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. We were there to relax at the end of a long trip so the peace and quiet was wonderful!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: You feel immediately welcome, very kind and warm owners. Great location, peaceful place and a beautiful view. Everything is super clean and looks like new. Fresh homemade breakfast and very tasty lunch options. Gessica was very kind to indicate a tour around that area, with multiple towns known for their production of cheese or wine. We would love to come back to this place.
Cons: My husband is 1,84m tall and the bed was approx. 1,85m so a bit too short for the legs to get comfortable. You cannot have dinner at the location, but there are a lot of good options close by (driving).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful scenery, well kept property. Beautiful Tuscan stone buildings. All the photos of Agriturismo San Lorenzo is true, but it’s even better when you are here in person. Gessica who is front of house of this family business is so nice. Delicious breakfast too, many foods grown on the property: Olive oil, figs, quince, dried prunes, tomato etc and even made my husband eggs for breakfast!!!!! AAA++++++++++++

Pros: Beautiful property! the "Tree house" room was fantastic, secluded with a view of the olive groves, perfect for our romantic getaway!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the room we stayed in - extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were exceptional - Ahmed and Sayed were personable and very helpful, always willing to help with any requests we had. The breakfast was very good, fresh ingredients and friendly staff managing it all. The view from Cicolina is sensational - we spent most days at the pool which overlooks the rolling hills of Montepulciano which was one of the best parts of our holiday. The dinner setting outside is very romantic - definitely worth trying but most nights we went into town which is a very short ride from Cicolina - there are so many great restaurants to try. We used the shuttle service a number of times which was really great. Sayed also booked a wine tour for us which was really enjoyable. We can't say enough about this place - it was the best value by a long shot and the staff are just awesome. Definitely go check it out!
Cons: No complaints!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Dinner is excellent - and a great value!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous grounds, the pool was the highlight and the lovely little restaurant for breakfast. We were in the cottage and it was very basic. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the furnishings awkward and dirty. The cleaning lady did a wonderful job considering the circumstances. It’s a great value for the money and a one of a kind experience but don’t expect a lot of frills.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location is wonderful-a 25 minute walk into Montepulciano, but perfectly peaceful, with amazing views. Breakfast is fantastic and staff are so helpful. Dinner is great value and the gardens are simply breathtaking.
Cons: Soundproofing is a little lacking-this is a very quiet hotel, but in the bedrooms, you can hear noises from other rooms. The air conditioning is very loud as well.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: the authentic building, the furnishing, the extras hidden underneath
Cons: to lay at the pool and relax
10,0 Excellent
Pros: After a long day of travel and a late check-in to the last room, we were just hoping for a hot shower and comfortable bed. What a delight to find we were shown to a literal Treehouse in the olive grove of Villa Cicolina, a quintessential luxury italianate property complete with trompe l’oiel, secret gardens and an infinity pool with views across the Tuscan countryside. The newly completed Treehouse is a contemporary design of wood, concrete, steel and glass that cantilevers out over the sloping olive grove with private views in 3 directions. The interior space was exceptional with a more than comfortable King size bed, fireplace, rainshower, deep bath with its own full length window and a deck with a view forever. We were enchanted. The perfect contemporary ‘couples getaway’ with added advantage of a full Tuscan Villa experience complete with delicious homemade breakfast of tortes, jams, breads and pastries, fruits, and one of the best Cappuccino forte’s I have had in Italy. Book this now because it is exceptional! 11/10!

Cons: Wi-Fi a bit weak (all three of them).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 2 nights. Parking is not an issue as you can park on the street. The hotel is located on a residential area away from the main road. It's quite and safe for your car. Hotel is very clean with rooms that look and feel brand new. Rooms are very clean and tidy. We stayed in Room 120 with balcony. Great selections on breakfast with freshly baked bread and pastries by Niccolo's brother . Niccolo in the reception is fantastic, hospitable, full of positive energy and made our stay very special! There is a local restaurant nearby that is open from Tuesday - Sunday. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again if we are back again in the area!

Pros: Everything was absolutely lovely, but the breakfast breakfast especially was absolutely delicious! Served outside in the sunshine overlooking the vineyard with a beautiful view of Montepulciano in the background and Isolina went out of her way to cater for my partner who is vegetarian. This is a real homestay style B&B and all the better for it! Thanks so much Isolina!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It had a local feel, being within a family home, yet private.
Cons: It is best if a guest is used to many steep stairs, this is true of the entire town, very steep hills.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing. A lovely couple that makes you feel like home. Very clean and comfortable, the location is perfect. It is a little bit complicated to get into the hotel due to the traffic restrictions inside the city walls, but the property owner gave me a ride to learn how to enter and exit the city!! Lovely!!
7,0 Good
Pros: The hosts were absolutely wonderful! They even provided us with a hand drawn map to our next destination with recommendations along the way. I would definitely stay here again!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Roberto and his wife were fabulous hosts! Roberto was very entertaining. We all agreed we would go back there again in a heartbeat!
Cons: Bathroom in our room was super small.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: By far, the best part of this property were the hosts! In addition, the location was excellent due to the fact we could walk to anything and everything! The wine and food experience by the surrounding wineries and restaurants never disappointed us! Delicious!! The breakfast at the property, provided by the hosts, was always outstanding with delicious homemade delicacies! Our hosts were always available and willing to suggest a restaurant, provide libations or additional towels! Very accommodating. A very welcoming environment; a much needed relief from the hustle and bustle of the larger cities we visited.
Cons: Well, coming from the states we are used to larger bathrooms, especially the shower area. But, don't let that stop you!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious; croissants, jam, Italian meats, juice, cappucino, fruits, etc. Roberto and his wife do a great job of greeting you, making you feel like family, and delivering a great breakfast. Roberto was super friendly and helpful. He met us in a parking lot and had us follow him into the property of this very steep, walled city, which has limited parking. He could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The location was amazing....right in the heart of Montepulciano.
Cons: It was hard to find the hotel, but Roberto was a big help with that.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Roberto, the owner, is so friendly and entertaining. The room is very nice decoration. You can park for free and no need to reserve.

Cons: A fridge in the room could be useful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Had been here in 2011 and most happy to see the same wonderful hostess again. Stayed at the detached villa this time and were super happy - spacious rooms, modern bathroom, a great place also to stay with a family. Pros: We absolutely loved Podere Lamberto. Sylvia, the host made us feel so welcome. The beauty of the valley, the vinyards, the olive trees and the view from the swimming pool is fantastic. The decor in the house is rustic true Italian. The place was clean and tidy and very homely. This was our favourite stay in Italy. Sylvia recommended amazing places nearby to us but we ended up enjoying the wonderful gardens and scenery. Breakfast was fantastic. We loved the dining area and enjoyed the continental breakfast a lot. We will most definitely be back and already recommended this lovely place to friends.

Pros: Location, friendliness of the staff, the food!
Cons: Everything was perfect
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We knew the hotel was a few miles from Montepulciano when we booked it, and that was fine. Access to the city the next day was easy. We were greeted upon arrival, shown to our room and offerred dinner reservations as it was quite late in the afternoon. The room was basic, but had all the necessities and was clean. We were afraid we might be disturbed in late evening or early morning by guests in the hallway; we were not. There was no noise. Although we did not have dinner at the hotel, they appeared quite busy with both guests and locals. The next morning, we were again greeted and invited to a lovely and generous breakfast selection and offered our breakfast beverages. It was a beautiful day and we had our breakfast on the terrace, then walked the garden. We did not have an opportunity to use the pool, but I'm sure it would have been welcome had we stayed another day. Checkout was quick and easy. Friendly faces always. It was a great value. We would stay again and recommend to others.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast adequate
Cons: Eggs were not out early enough. Perhaps boiled eggs would solve the problem. Mouldy smell in bathroom, shower/enclosure needs a redo.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Balcony was nice, not private but nice.
Cons: The AC did not work and they did not change the room and did not fix the AC. It was very hot time. The hose and room was little out dated. It is definitely not advisable to take dinner. The menu was bad. The bathroom was very small.

Pros: Great location and kind staff
Cons: Only two waiters at a time in the restaurant, I would suggest having three
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The views from the property were beautiful . The swimming pool was large and appealing.
Cons: The evening food offering was poor and more akin to a 2 star bus tour holiday destination . Wine was expensive - it is a winery !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, clean, good restaurant
Cons: Waiting coffee until 8am. I’m an early riser.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the 4 days at Borgo TreRose really much. The food at the restaurant and breakfast is absolutely fantastic and the views are incredible! The staff is so friendly and helpful. We were lucky to get a room upgrade and loved our room and little balcony with an amazing view. The entire hotel area is beautifully maintained and set up with so much love and details. We would always come back and highly recommend this hotel!!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is super beautiful! Territory around is superb for photo and video. Very close to Montepulciano if you have a car
Cons: Sometimes there was a strong smell of manure!
7,1 Good
Cons: WiFi only available by the pool despite the website stating free WiFi available in all areas. Service misrepresented. Very annoying. Chicken covered in bread crumbs at dinner was literally raw. Double room 40 small with little cupboard space although my daughters room lovely and spacious with plenty of storage. Grounds and pool area beautiful. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Phone number on booking.com incorrect.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing, the huge pool and the wonderful restaurant makes you wanna stay there for ever. The hotel complex is just like it's name says - a small village. It is the king of place you can spend weeks at! The staff was extremely helpful, from organizing wine tastings to helping us out with reservations to other programs. A must visit hotel if you are in Tuscany!
Cons: Due to a storm there was no wireless internet in the hotel - a little inconvinience but things like this can happen. Also, our room was supposed to be with a balcony, which turned out to be just a small seating area outside our door. But I guess if you stay in a tuscany-style building that is the closest to a balcony you can get, so it wasn't really a problem.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: My mother and I were upgraded to a 1 bed apartment which was a good start! We'd organised a wine tasting with Alijah, which was a lovely experience, she was very knowledgeable and I'd strongly recommend this, The restaurant was very good too with lovely views over the countryside
Cons: Not much really, other than a surly resident across the track from our apartment, why would someone appear miserable in such a lovely spot!

Pros: Fridge . Sink ,dishes & kettle.

Cons: The apart was cold and old (especially bathroom). There weren't enough protection (nets were damaged) against insects. Not suitable for this season.

Pros: Welcoming hosts, great facilities, clean and comfortable apartment, close to Montepulciano and a great base for exploring the other beautiful towns of the Val d'Orcia.
Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful house with garden, pleasant owners gave us all the needed information.
Cons: Sleeping on the sofa was not very comfortable.
6,7 Good
Pros: Friendly people and really basic accommodation. Lacks a little attention.
Cons: Poorly lit. The kitchen needed some attention like tea towels, cleaner floors and placemats.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice house inside, fully equiped, bathroom was cosy and clean. Beautiful garden, friendly owners
Cons: The sofa was uncomfortable even for our 10 y.o daughter. It is ok for little kids, but not for adults. It was also noisy, the road was close to our window and it was a busy one, plus we could hear our neighbours from the bedroom, every toilet flash and crying children early in the morning. Yet it seems that it is more quiet in other appartments. I would also like to suggest to extand the pool working hours, they were 10 am-7pm. Chek-out is till 10am, so no way to swim in the morning, or if you arrive later Maybe we were just spoiled by other places we stayed during this trip))
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool was amazing and Roberto looked after it so well that it was crystal clear and beautifully clean every day. The central Bbq was also great for eating with friends or chatting with other guests.
Cons: Perhaps some air conditioning in the rooms, but this is a minor detail.

Pros: The location was no more than a 5 min drive from Montepulciano in a quiet rural location. The accomodation was comfortable and spacious, the owners were courteous and helpful. The room was big and bright, the kitchen had all that was needed to sit in and cook with a nice garden to eat in if a quiet night in was all you wanted. It was also ideally located for a night out in Montepulciano as well.
Cons: My only complaint would be that the shower head needed to be fixed and the pool could have been a little cleaner but I would have no qualms about coming back or recommending it.
6,0 Good
Pros: Quiet and nice location nearby Montepulciano.
Cons:
7,2 Good
Pros: Excellent location (3 km from historical town of Montepulciano), very nice Tuscan architecture (interior and exterior), swimming pool
Cons: Near the road but not a big issue, bad gsm signal (maybe good points :-)

Pros: The location was fantastic, right at the entrance to the city, the owners and staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel has an old world charm that felt embracing. I loved the breakfast buffet each morning with coffee and eggs made to order. Super value staying here. And request a room with a balcony! Mine was amazing, had beautiful valley views. I will stay here again next year.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: I suggest to advise the guests that the hotel is in a zone of traffic forbidden.

Pros: Location montepuliciano is a hill town. Be aware that this hotel is at the bottom of a very long climb up to Palazzo grande but there are several wonderful restaurants on the street Hotel is very clean our triple room was actually a suite of two rooms. Very spacious Staff is great. Breakfast outstanding
7,9 Good
Pros: Very good staff, helpful and welcoming. Everything spotless, very clean. Triple room quite spacious. Comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom clean and bright. Enough towels and toiletries. The overall style of the hotel old Tuscan, though common spaces are nicer than the actual rooms. Nice breakfast: several cheeses and cold cuts, omelette if you want it. Unusually for Italy, very modest choice of pastry and fruit. The hotel is very well situated in the historic part of Montepulciano.
Cons: Bathroom very small! Shower small to the point of being seriously claustrophobic. One very high step from the bathroom to the room, quite dangerous. If you forget about it and step down, the result could be very unpleasant. Parking is rather far from the hotel, unless you are lucky and there still are free places near the hotel (which are few).

Pros: Good location , friendly staff
Cons: No air con, can’t sleep with open windows due to street noise ((

Pros: A true Italian experience and we really appreciated the top floor room with view... even though it was cloudy during our stay. A lovely welcome, comfy beds and great location for exploring Montepulciano. We especially enjoyed the home baked apple pastry with breakfast.

Cons: Staffs are very rude and they don’t respond to you well.

Pros: One of the best hotels we stayed in! Very very nice staff. Helped with every problem.. We wanted to stay more but the hotel was fully booked. The staff tried to find us a solution, and even brought us a bottle of wine as a gift. Modern, big, new room. Amazing view Highly recommended
Cons: Nothing. Everything was excellent.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Service makes a huge difference when choosing a hotel, and service at the Panoramic was very bad. A smile and a professional attitude is so essential when doing your check in or check out. Honesty is a priority when marketing the hotel and the Panoramic announces Air Conditioning but when you want to use it, there is a fee! It announces Free Breakfast and it is not free, there is a charge. It’s a pity as the product is very good, located on a hill near Montepulciano. There was a discount on the rate when I was looking at potential places to stay in TripAdvisor, and we took the offer. This does not mean the hotel has to lower the quality of their services! Not a glass to take water in the room, not shampoo, just one soap for both shower and wash basin. And the worst, the lousy service! I hope they will improve their quality of service and their professionalism and attitude.
Cons: The lack of professionalism and the lousy service. The hotel is very high tech but they could improve on the quality of service they offer. They don’t fulfill their offer shown on the online sites.

Pros: The room was huge, and the bathroom too. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful. We will come back!

Pros: Nothing! This place is horrible. Stay away!
Cons: Do not stay here! If I could give it negative stars I would. The staff is rude and wholly unaccommodating. The hotel is dirty not updated and trust me the pictures on the website are not representative. The fact that this place holds itself out as 3 stars and even has Michelin stickers on the window is false advertising at best. My advice stay away!

Pros: Good location with free parking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfy and quiet. Very good breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, accessible, welcoming, friendly staff.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very good. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was well equipped be it rather small. The breakfast buffet was complete. There is ample parking space. Nearby (road to Chianciano, 10 minutes by foot) there is a very lively bar which serves all kind of aperitivos and tapas for free and an adjacent pizzeria / rosteria. A bit further down same road there is the restaurant Il Covo which serves delicious food and wines.
Cons: To enter the hotel one has to climb several stairs, an inclined plane would facilitate things. (luggage) Although the city center of Montepulciano is only about 1000 mtrs away, the walk includes a steep climb of about 600mtrs. However here is a bus stop just next to the hotel which takes one to the city center. It is an experience on itself. It is a pity that the hotel is not selling tickets as the drivers do not like to sell same on the bus and as, when bought on the bus the fare doubles from 1.20 to 2.40 EUR.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel manager Massimo truly saved our vacation. We were having trouble with our rental car and since our italian is limited, he made multiple calls on our behalf. We got a new car and were able to continue. So kind. The hotel is comfortable with a glorious pool. We ended up liking montepulciano the best of the Tuscan towns we visited. We drove up to the town but a walk is possible. All around a wonderful experience!!
Cons: Nothing!

5,4 Okay
Pros: Room was nice enough, pleasant bathroom with bath & shower. Understand from our friends that the spa was nice, and clean, although we didn't get chance to go.
Cons: Rude unhelpful staff who treat guests as somewhere between an inconvenience and an idiot. One or two exceptions. Theft: £30 out of £40 in UK notes went missing from a zipped pocket of my travel bag. Would not include this if even slightly less than 100% sure, and I did leave it unsecured, but beware that housekeeping here will take advantage - use the safe. Phone in room broken - we were in annexe some distance away from the main building, so this was an issue but was simply ignored when we reported it. I'd say this representative of how all requests/problems were addressed. Location: it is a long, uphill walk in to Montepulciano - on average we walked about 30 min up hill to get to a restaurant. Cabs in Montepulciano are scarce, and although I understand they do exist we did not manage to get one even by pre booking. The hotel reception refused to even try to book one for us. Breakfast was adequate in some parts, utterly disgusting in others - such as the scrambled eggs that had been burnt on to the pan, then burnt bits stirred in along with bits of shell, and were sweaty and clearly hours old. We did not manage to get coffee, nobody bothered to take our order in 30 minutes either time we went for breakfast.

Pros: Perfect location! Plenty of parking! Bartender (young male) was very informative and eager to help us. We sat right outside front door in a covered patio with a bottle of wine in the evening; perfect ending to a perfect day.

Pros: Beautiful resort, gorgeous views. Rustic but modern.
Cons: The only concern was the beds are exceptionally firm - with plastic matress covers. But this was my second visit, so obviously nothing that would deter me.

Pros: The Swimmingpool and Location
Cons: Hello, Well we are Genius Client and we Never had to raise a complain until now. We thought that we will enjoy a 4 Stars Hotel before the end of our trip. Unfortunatelly we were informed 2 Hours before our Arrival that we will be locald in the annexe. This Building is Not located in the hotel. You have to walk through a high way very unpleasant to reach the Main building. We décided to pay a supplement to be in the Main Building in Order to get at least Internet. For 2 days internet was Not working ! And the People at the réception were very very rude! The room was Not clean properly and the breakfast ist average.

Pros: The location
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We checked into this hotel as an emergency because we got stuck in the rain while on our motorbikes. It was outstanding in terms of convenience and value for money, but especially for the location, just off the motorway. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant in the hotel was great.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly personnel, hotel is perfect for people travelling on A1.
Cons: Nothing to report
2,9 Mediocre
Cons: No prior notice of important information (limited internet access in the room) / malfunction of heater in the cold weather and room phone to reception not working / no efforts to make up mistakes even though properly informed (not professional at all) - overall, very disappointed to their attitude - no intention to come back again
7,5 Good
Pros: A quiet, comfortable hotel straight off the highway & yet off the tourist beaten track. The staff were most friendly & helpful, especially since the hotel is a fair distance on foot from the station & 10km from Montepulciano with scarse public transport. Bruno was a gracious host who shared excellent advice on local wineries & sights to see. Breakfast, including an array of gluten free products, was ready from 6:30 which was perfect for an early start!
Cons: Beware of leaving food in your room. Our travels snacks attracted a colony of ants!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast,
Cons: The shower needs to be changed was splashing all over, the Ac was not giving cold aer.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: At a service station on the motorway so no need to come off. Lovely family run hotel. Very kind accommodating people. Good price for what it was. Had a great pizza there.
Cons: Slightly dated but good nonetheless.
5,2 Okay
Cons: Very basic and quite unattractive hotel. We did not realise it was right next to the autostrada and so far from the township. We asked for a smoke free room, but the room we were given smelled of smoke.

Pros: A little dated, but perfectly comfortable hotel. Good for visiting Montepulciano if you have your own transport. Aircon in the rooms was a bonus. Wi-fi worked, but was painfully slow. The staff don't speak English, which proved to be mildly annoying when the credit card machine ran out of paper and they ended up charging me twice.

Located in the historic centre of Montepulciano, Il Borghetto overlooks the ancient castle walls, and has views of the 3 lakes of Val di Chiana. All rooms feature antique furniture. Albergo Il Borghetto is set in a Medieval building considered one of the most ancient in town. The wide halls, dating back to the 15th century, are heated by an open fireplace. Il Borghetto also has a small garden, created in the old path beside the walls.

Pros: Great location right in the old town of Montepulciano. Our room had its own entrance directly on the street that made it seem almost like a separate apartment. The woman who ran the hotel was kind and charming. The parking had a place nearby where we could park our car, which was a great feature.

Pros: Very clean
Cons: Reception area smelled of cigarette smoke.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location is very good. We had a room with an amazing panoramic view. Right in the middle of the old city, just perfect.
Cons: The house looked old. Not the in good way. The bathroom wasn’t the best, shower over the toilet. But clean enough. Like other reviewers said, the receptionist did smoke all day long in the reception and it dis smell like cigarettes on the front hall.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The view from our bedroom was fantastic - panoramic view of the countryside
Cons: The bathroom was small and the shower was tucked in a corner with just a shower curtain around it. The parking situation was difficult as a special pass is needed to enter the city, and then unload bags outside the hotel door - which is OK if nobody behind is waiting to pass .... parking is on a hill behind the hotel

Pros: The character and location in a small hill town were priceless. Fabulous vista from the window, independent access to the street, huge variety of eateries within 5 minute walk. Very quiet, comfy bed, shower had good pressure. Overall, pretty good value for the location.
