The location is amazing and the bed was comfortable. The room needs to be updated. It was very worn out and smelled like smoke even though it’s nonsmoking. It was disappointing given the price

Pros (+) This is our go to place for a weekend in Minneapolis. Great location near Guthrie Theatre and river. Rooms are small but very well designed.

Pros (+) Aloft Minneapolis is convenient to the light rail and bus lines. It is an easy walk to the business district. Close to the Guthrie Theater, Gold Medal Park, and the Mill City Museum. Check out Izzie's for ice cream. Hot breakfast sandwiches are available to order in the morning.
Cons (-) There are no ice machines on the room floors. You have to go down to the lobby.
