Pros (+) The front desk woman was friendly.
Cons (-) The place looks as if the last timer it was given a refresh was in the 80s. Everything — carpets, paint, lighting, bedding, phones, outlets — was old and worn out. My room reeked of mildew, the pillows were ancient and I'm amazed I didn't catch bed bugs. All for a $300, last minute booking.

Cons (-) 1st room had a smell (they changed my room with no issues) Uncomfortable pillows. Free breakfast left a lot to be desired, but it's free

Pros (+) Good bang for the buck, free MIA shuttle, free continental breakfast, pool, small gym, courteous personnel, empty minibar for usage...
Cons (-) Older facilities (also it appeared as if the A/C was not working in the lobby), no restaurant on-site, no free parking, the MIA shuttle took forever to arrive for pick-up at MIA, loud A/C unit in the room...

Pros (+) Front desk clerk was courteous
Cons (-) Van airport pick up service needs improvement. Took 1.25 minutes to even get a van driver and when we called repeatedly back to the hotel the phone would ring and ring. The pillow cases had locks on them! The iron was locked on the ironing board!
