Cons: My husband ordered a shuttle from the airport back to the hotel after dropping off the rental car. We had ordered it at the front desk. It never arrived and he had to hire a taxi. When we complained to the front desk, they did not do anything to compensate us for the 15 euro expense - not even a glass of wine!

Pros: I really valued my stay here. Spotless, calm, quiet, welcoming, professional. The room had been recently refurbished and was extremely comfortable. The room was well equipped and spotless, thank you for a lovely stay. It made me decide to eat lunch here given my flight is a late one I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Conveniently close to the airport- this hotel offers excellent facilities. We had lunch and even though the restaurant was extremely busy we were fitted in and served by a wonderfully friendly and helpful waitress. The buffet was excellent and other food looked great too. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the airport but there is a convenient hotel shuttle bus if needed. There are cheaper budget hotels nearby but we would choose to pay extra to stay here again.

Cons: Hotel had "warn out" feel. Breakfast was poor as was restaurant meal. No staff at breakfast and had to find a clean table and knives and forks. Altogether an experience that we will not be repeating. Very much a second rate hotel and very poor value.

Pros: The fact I could check in early at short notice, close to the airport, several restaurants to choose from a very short walk away, friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bed, decor and furnishings all look brand new and especially great value for money.
Cons: The hotel was too nice to be only a two star hotel but maybe that rating reflects the lack of coffee maker, hair dryer, etc. which is not surprising given the low price of an excellent room.

Pros: This Hotel Altica is five min from the Bordeaux Airport which is why I booked here. I expected something musty and out-of-date for the price but it is fresh and clean and was a perfect location for our last night. We were happy staying there overnight. Comfortable and quiet. We left before breakfast the next morning.
Cons: Our only complaint is that the room a/c didn't cool the room efficiently in the unusually high heat they were experiencing mid-Sept. We were warm. No major complaints. I don't think you can find a better value for the price, for a hotel so conveniently located to the airport.

Pros: We chose the property because we had stayed their previously and had found it to be an excellent choice. Originally we chose it because of its location near the Bordeaux Airport, which is less than 10 minutes drive even in heavy traffic. We also found that the hotel provides a shuttle service to the airport at 30 minute intervals, which we found to be a free service, another plus. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was quiet so the weary traveller has everything they might need. The continental style breakfast seem to cater for all customers requirements and there is plenty to choose from.
Cons: Only the rather sad state of the footpaths outside running the length of the road and on which an elderly person could easily turn an ankle or worse. Not the responsibility of the hotel but certainly a concern.

Pros: The breakfast was very good lots of choice and hood quality. The chap in breakfast room was friendly as were receptionists. The reception area is nice and bright and comfortable.
Cons: The whole place looks like it needs refreshing, it's a bit tired. We had to walk from airport as navette doesnt work on a sunday evening (which we had been told) bit the bus we waited 30 mins for wasnt stopping at the hotel. Bit of a pain. The bar was closed when we arrived finally and we didnt realise there was tea and coffee available there.

Cons: The air conditioner didn’t work, the room ground floor # 79 was like a sauna, the window couldn’t be opened due to the mosquitos attack, didnt close an eye due to « a comfort » it is a bulgallow style with anti sanitaire facilities and after a stressful night I had to pay ... it is horrible !

Cons: The room was extremely basic. The breakfast was very basic, and the breads. etc, not covered up, with lots of small fruit flies. We had to ask for extra towels. When we booked, we were not told that the restaurant isn't open at the weekends -although this proved a bonus, as we had an excellent meal at 'Au Bureau'.

Pros: Quiet location, very well-hidden in the industrial area of Merignac airport. At night time, you have to pay attention to the signs, otherwise it's difficult to find. The hotel is within walking distance from the airport, so very convenient if you need to take a plane early in the morning. We appreciated that we could leave our car safe in the closed parking lot.
Cons: Despite the heating, the room (336) was cold as you could feel the cold air coming in from the window area - not sure it was coming from outside or from the air vent situated above the window.

Pros: Quiet and clean. Simple kitchenette enables microwaving supper the night before travel and if you plan for a simple breakfast by bring cereal milk etc too, you save some money. The room has a kettle, twin ring stove top a fridge and basic plates, glasses, saucepans etc. No toaster though. 10 minutes walk away is an Au Bureau pub serving food till late.
Cons: The location is in a pretty unattractive industrial estate.

Pros: Very convenient location near Merignac/Bordeaux airport and near Bordeaux Rocade. For many years, we use this hotel for a stopover, every time when driving to Spain. Good value for money for a family of four when booked on time... efficient, clean rooms, secure parking, Tesla Supercharger stations on the parking lot.
Cons: Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. Front desk staff could be a bit more focussed on customer service. And one can see wear and tear appearing on corridors and outside facilities - it may be time for a makeover... STILL - these points are no showstoppers, we shall be coming back...

Pros: The hotels location was perfectly placed in proximity to the airport. Staff were great. Very professional approach to their work. We had great service in the restaurant and the food was great too. Prices were reasonable. Our second (and not last) stopover!

Cons: My husband ordered a shuttle from the airport back to the hotel after dropping off the rental car. We had ordered it at the front desk. It never arrived and he had to hire a taxi. When we complained to the front desk, they did not do anything to compensate us for the 15 euro expense - not even a glass of wine!

Pros: I really valued my stay here. Spotless, calm, quiet, welcoming, professional. The room had been recently refurbished and was extremely comfortable. The room was well equipped and spotless, thank you for a lovely stay. It made me decide to eat lunch here given my flight is a late one I highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Plastic and paper cups, China/glass is better.

Pros: Conveniently close to the airport- this hotel offers excellent facilities. We had lunch and even though the restaurant was extremely busy we were fitted in and served by a wonderfully friendly and helpful waitress. The buffet was excellent and other food looked great too. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the airport but there is a convenient hotel shuttle bus if needed. There are cheaper budget hotels nearby but we would choose to pay extra to stay here again.

Cons: Hotel had "warn out" feel. Breakfast was poor as was restaurant meal. No staff at breakfast and had to find a clean table and knives and forks. Altogether an experience that we will not be repeating. Very much a second rate hotel and very poor value.

Pros: The hotel was easy to find and it was amongst a cluster of hotels as per. Receptionist was excellent and english was spoken. Exceĺlent Au Bureau pub very close by if their restaurant is closed. Did not try hotel food.
