Cons: The overall quality was disappointing in relation to the expense. One elevator just barely made it to each floor. Signage was old and flaking. The breakfast looked good but lacked in taste. The bath faucet was not secure. The hotel needs a facelift or the expense for the stay should be less.

Pros: It was consequently located near the highway.

7,5 Good
Pros: Every single one of their staff in all their facilities were very very nice and friendly
Cons: It needs a little bit more of renovation
4,2 Okay
Pros: Close to the diner which was good.
Cons: It's an old microtel with old pics and records screwed to the wall and states it's 50s themed. The hotel smelled like old dog and the pool was not very clean.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Service and accomodations were top notch. At this price they truly exceed expectations
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good. it was cereal, milk, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, toast, fruit, waffles and oatmeal. Better than other continental breakfasts. The hotel was like a museum decorated with the sixties and seventies Stars , especially Elvis.

Pros: Clean pool and rooms. Loved the nostalgic theme, pictures, etc.
Cons: Rooms including bedding and carpet were a little dated. Used too much air freshner, etc to try and cover smells.

Cons: I like a firmer pillow.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Happy Days Hotel was a great place for our family stay the area was clean and friendly folks all around.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed here many times. The hotel is comfortable and staff always helpful and pleasant.
Cons: This trip only - the bedding was all wrinkly and weird - I don't think it had been slept in before, but the condition made me wonder. The room was very humid and the carpet felt damp when I walked on it. I wondered if the carpet had been cleaned that day. If it hadn't been so late, and I hadn't been so exhausted, I would have asked for another room before I collapsed in the bed. The room's condition didn't sink in to my brain until the morning. I'd had no problems with my room on many previous visits.

Pros: Definitely my sole choice every time driving from Houston and stop by McAlexter
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Taylor, who worked at the front desk, was very kind and worked so much. I can't stress enough how great she was. She was there when we checked in and again to do breakfast in the morning and again when we checked in the next Fri. on the way home from our trip. The breakfast on the first stay was fantastic. The second stay breakfast was ok.
Cons: When we checked in the first night our room was not ready. We came back twice. Our room wasn't ready until 7:30p.m. and the hot tub was not working. When we came back through and stayed again, the hot tub still wasn't working and the breakfast crew didn't show up so other staff members were doing the best they could, but they couldn't get the pancake machine working. They seem to have staffing issues.

Cons: Room Door opened to the Hwy 69. Lots of noise. Slamming doors in the rooms next to us. The work trucks and the work crews very loud coming and going in the rooms next to us. And the fact that smoking was allowed at the hotel was a BIG NEGATIVE.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Nice clean, comfortable room.
Cons: They don't specify non-smoking rooms. I grew up in a house of smokers and know that I am allergic to smoke. It doesn't have to be in the air, but can be on the towels from being in a area where someone smoked.I woke up with puffy eyes and stopped up nose.

3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Location off the highway is good
Cons: Check in, the guy had zero personality & offered zero information - the room has an AWFUL ODOR, assuming it is from the AC unit (that kind of works) - the lounge chair in this room is ripped, shredded & my husband sat in it with a white t shirt & the shirt is now covered in DIRT! Our room keys quit working & the response was “You can’t have them by your cell phones!“ Thanks genius, we didn’t! WiFi is sketchy at best - We stayed here a few years back, right at opening of this hotel & loved it - we will never stay here again!

Pros: For starters... I hate people who stay at a $47 motel then rate it as a 5 star hotel! For $47 it was a good motel, old, plain, basic and functional able! Breakfast was basic and good. I’m talking about room 116, our room! The air was cold, the fridge was cold, the iron & board was good, hair dryer was good and the microwave worked! Bed was ok comfy(no bed bugs), water was hot, shower sprayed good and it was clean as it could be for a $47 motel In McAlester, OK! Now would I spend a week here? Probably not. But for a 14 hour stay after half a day driving, it did the job for $47!
Cons: It’s was a $47 motel what do you expect?!?! My only dislike was no coffee pot in the room. It had everything else.
7,9 Good
Pros: Thought I had booked a Holiday Inn (my bad) and was distressed to find this place a little sketchy looking, rather run down. But other than black mold around/behind bath fixtures, everything was fine, clean and in working order. Staff very nice. Very inexpensive, so that’s a plus.
Cons: As above. Black mold was disturbing, but I arrived after midnight and left by 6:00 am, so wasn’t worried about over-exposure. Lobby is in separate building, also unsettling, and locks on doors seemed a bit insecure. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it seem popular, lots of trucks in parking lot.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Checked in at midnight, staff was friendly and check in was quick.
Cons: A lot of construction workers hanging around outside at 12:30 AM.
6,0 Good
Pros: It was quite and peaceful. We had to stay because our home was hit by a tornado, we lost everything and we appreciated that it was so peaceful.
Cons: The front office gentleman was rude. Training in empathy and personal skills would be recommended to not make your customers feel bad about checking into a hotel room. Especially after they have just gone through a very damaging natural disaster.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: We were given the first room and there was no tv remote. Desk clerk brought a remote that did not work. Turned the tv on manually and it was not connected to cable so it did not work. Desk clerk moved us to a different room but the a/c in that room did not work. Contacted the desk clerk and said she would move us again. She was supposed to bring us another room key. We waited in hall by elevator but she never came. After several minutes we went down to desk and found that she had gone home and new person had taken over. We asked for a refund and were assured that our credit card would have the charge reversed. We went to a much nicer hotel down the road that was also cheaper.

Pros: Nothing at this property was to a standard for the price that is charged.
Cons: Arrived at 11.20 p.m.Took over an hour to check in. Sent to a room that was unmade. The elevator door opened and there was debris,Toilets and cardboard boxes all down the hallway where renovations were being made. Dirty. It was not the ladies checking us in, but obviously a management problem. They were as frustrated as the customers. They kept calling the owner/manager for help, and he finally showed after 1 a.m. Many people in line were having the same difficulties. After waiting for another room assignment, we were sent to a different floor. Don't waste your time or money going here. In over 35 years of traveling, this has been by far the worst experience at a hotel.
