10,0 Excellent
Pros: We came here as a first destination for our honeymoon and we are beyond happy with everything. First and foremost is the professional staff who are nothing short of spectacular. Everyone is smiling, polite and respectful. Everyday there is a new event in the morning and at night, the activation team actually do a pretty good job. Prices for food and drink are quite reasonable with the only comment that alcohol is local and of average quality. I don't really like open buffet but I loved this one, new options everyday and you probably won't have the belly to try half the options, 9/10 on food! Room cleanliness is 10/10, design and facilities also excellent. I'm just going to keep going on how special the hotel made our stay for us, but that would be ruining the surprise. If you are looking for a special getaway for your significant other. Trust me a stay at Steigenberger Coraya should be on your itinerary!
Cons: Prices were very reasonable except for water being overpriced in general. We also felt some facilities were missing (a supermarket)
5,0 Okay
Pros: I liked: Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had good variety, though it could be better, taste wise. Pool area is beautiful, though no snacks are served there like other resorts. Excellent female Thai masseuse at the spa. Ask for Tommy!
Cons: I didn't like: I booked a sea view room, and I got a garden view room with probably 2% of sea view between the palm trees! (See the photo from my room's balcony and you'll know what I mean). Some restaurants and room service staff had no idea what is in the menu and what even the items name mean! Management should do better in training staff to the standards of a 5 star resort. Some shops sell 1 year expired products, and management obviously does not even inspect what those shops are selling to guests. Beach is not pleasant, like that of Sharm el Sheikh, but that is just the geographic location of the resort.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely well designed property with excellent landscaping and tasteful environment. No Kids allowed, ideal for those that want to relax. Excellent opportunity to snorkel the surrounding reefs as well as a dive shop within walking distance. Lots of daily activities for those needing to stretch their legs. Beach is mostly hard packed sand. Water temperature was very pleasant at about 85 degrees. Both pools were kept cooler for a refreshing dip. Swim up bar to make new friends. Food quality in the various on site restaurants was excellent as well as the service level. I also liked the free internet service to stay in touch with home.
Cons: My room telephone came with noise and could not be corrected. Apart from that there is nothing much not to like.
7,9 Good
Pros: Excellent food, nice rooms
Cons: The free internet sucks - you need to login every time you connect - often after a few minutes of inactivity. And when you do, you need to provide 4 lines of data each time! Not state of the art! Also, on our second day, the shady areas were flooded with music, so no way to stay there and quietly think.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful architecture and flowers. Relaxing atmosphere and excellent breakfasts. Should be even more focus on relaxation and harmony.
Cons: The only negative is that the live singing some evenings by the pool is to late/loud (23.30) so you cant sleep.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very decent. Especially when compared to other hotels in Egypt on the Red Sea. Especially the ones that work on the all inclusive basis. Normally I hate all inclusive as a concept, but this one was more than tolerable. Great service, nicest and helpful personnel, good food, cosy beach, very quiet. The guests are mostly seniors form Germany, so if you want action, this wouldn’t be the right hotel to choose. If, however, you want a relaxed time in a beautiful place with more or less respectable crowd, Steigenberger Coraya Beach is definitely a place to go. Coral reefs are amazing. You don’t even need to leave the hotel for more or less decent snorkeling. My favorite parts of the trip: a remote and empty beach facing the open sea (as compared to the main one surrounding the bay), cosy romantic evenings in the open air bar and absolutely perfect weather in mid-October.
Cons: Very few imported wines on the menu at insane cost. But it’s generally like that overall in Egypt. Not a drinking nation

7,5 Good
Pros: • Reception very efficient • Room ready very quickly • Adequate selection of food • Beds very comfortable • Air conditioner was virtually silent • Built a special feeding area for the wild birds (wonderful!) • Animation team was very involved with guests & work really hard to ensure a festive time is had by all • Ice cream every afternoon • staff do their best to accommodate requests & deal with complaints • Very few mosquitoes
Cons: • Have to walk to the end of a 750m jetty to get to the sea where you can snorkel • First few hundred metres are great for children, as it’s very shallow, but not ideal if you want to have a ‘quick’ dip • Jetty is shared with the sister hotel next door (Royal Tulip) so the snorkelling area can get congested
7,9 Good
Cons: Check in process took like 3 hours
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness. Staff specially mr. Mostafa from the reception. Shaban from restaurant. Mohamed from the swimming pool bar... Animation team was so good amr. And heba. Snorkeling is great. The room is perfectly cleaned and quite.. All the hotel is clean

Pros: The location of this resort is perfect for those wishing to experience Wadi El Gamel National Park. If you need assistance for a trip into the park as you can not drive yourself then we can stop by the ranger station right beside the property and they can assist you arrange a guide or take you themselves which we had arranged which was a wonderful experience. The red sea experience is fantastic with great snokelling right off the property private beach. Bring your own equipment.
Cons: The property is an all inclusive resort catering for European family travelers. The only food option is buffet for all meals with limited vegetarian options. Expect limited if any staff service and warm beer.

7,1 Good
Pros: Very nice ressort, we had a very good price, it was clean and all. Nice pools, private beach, good food.
Cons: The staff at the reception is SOOO BAD, dismissive and arrogant, and very not helpful as when we asked for a bus, they gave us a number and told us to call by ourself (people of the company only spoke arabic!!) very slow for everything also. Other staff is very good. The location is not so good as well because you are entirely dependant of the hotel and their prices so they charge you a lot on the small shop inside the ressort and in the restaurant if you are not all inclusive.
7,1 Good
Pros: *Very good view , sea is awesome you can see a lot of coral leaves and you will swim beside the fishes * Rooms are clean and big * Good animation team and they do their best
Cons: *This is my first visit to Marsa alam , I choose Aurora bay as per the reviews but it’s all from foreigners and I would like to say that “ we are Egyptians” so they treated us in a very terrible way !! First they choose for us w very awful room , like no one live in it for a long time at the end of the hotel beside the hill ! And they refused to change it , not that’s it . * They also didn’t put the amenities like a kettle , coffee , tea , soap, shampoo or shower gel * Very Poor food and no variety * You have to exchange money to EURO as there is no EGP * Take care as beach is at the other side of the road so you have to cross the road to reach the beach , and it’s between 2 hills * No wifi and if you need it , you will pay for using it.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice place to relax. The beach is in the bay across the street, there is always special man to help you cross the highway. There is shade all way down to the beach, so it’s nice walk. We enjoyed snorkeling, sea life is rich, you can see a lot of colorful fish and corals. Staff was friendly, especially reception guy Ramada. Food and beverage are good.
Cons: We booked superior room, reality was far different than the pictures. Room was big, but quite outdated, needs renovation. Room was not properly clean. Wifi is ridiculously expensive, in 4star hotel should be free at least in lobby. Value for money, but ended to be the worst hotel in the whole Red Sea area we visited.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Nice room. Good facilities
Cons: Need to extract information from the staff 5 minutes wait according to the staff become 1 hour If not paying for the full service, every thing is very expensive. For example, 1 day of wifi: 30 USD! Needed to discuss 15 minutes on the phone to get them accepting laundry (the document in the room was saying it was perfectly fine)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: View, Sea, Staff, Animation Team, Great Experience
4,6 Okay
Pros: Staff normal Good room service
Cons: Food is very bad and poor Without different choices Restaurant is not conditioned good Dangerous road cross to beach

5,4 Okay
Pros: Nice property , room was clean not so far from the beach , nice view
Cons: Not professional staff, after checking in they slipped a paper under the door that we should contact the front desk immediately, turns out that they made a mistake when they checked us in and gave us the blue bracelet ( for all inclusive) we were full board but not all inclusive???? Meaning we have the meals but not the tea and coffee all day long , well I work for Marriott for long time now and when you happen to make a mistake and upgrade your guest you are not allowed to contact him and ask him to give back the upgrades he just got ..,didn’t like the fact there were no manager to get some information or to talk to , all I have found is a very poor trained staff , I am not recommending this place to others

Pros: Great staff, food is very good, excellent animation team and wonderful view
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Food quality and presentation was excellent.
Cons: The very slow check-in, and the room change (s) at the discretion of the hotel despite the rooms being booked 10 months in advance and all payments finalized. Also, their idea of a "complimentary" hard bar is nothing more than 4 pops and 2 small cans of beer??? Where was the liquor and a full-size beer? What did we end up saving....$10.00 US dollars?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service and hospitality is amazing. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in in terms of hospitality. Big thank you for all the staff.
Cons: The rooms are about 7-10 minutes walking to the beach but the shuttle bus every 10-15 minutes till sunset overcome this problem
7,9 Good
Cons: Animation them was not that active and the place for the mini disco was a little small on a high stage
