Closeness to the main market, courteous staff.
The breakfast buffet spread is dependant on the no. Of guests in the hotel. It's likely that the hotel will not have the buffet breakfast if you visit on Tuesday- Friday.
The cleanliness maintained inspite of heavy rains, friendly and helpful staff at the hotel and also the quality of food. All this, made our stay very comfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff.
When you stay in a property that has been part of Mahabaleshwar for over 120 years, it is a moment to reflect on the thousands of travellers who have wandered the same path. The property harkens back to the British period in India and boy must they have lived it up! Today it is a very well placed accommodation that is held to Heritage laws and therefore remains locked in a time and place. The staff are first rate and the guy at the front desk is very helpful indeed: Kapil Dev for he helped my spouse and I communicate with our driver and thus enabled a much for a successful trip that may have otherwise been. Citrus provides a clean, comfy stay without frills. The rooms are spacious, and the water in the morning hot. There is a fridge and the breakfast is really the biggest surprise for it is comprehensive and most satisfying. And, down the hill just a few metres is the renowned Mahabaleshwar market which you can dip into and wander back to peace and quiet in just a few minutes. Highly recommended.
Nothing that comes to mind. The property is as expected and as advertised.
Front disk staff Sharad was helpful and the restaurant staffs are friendly..
Very old hotel.. need renovation.. booking.com should mention that they wants the payment in advance.. after booking we got so many mails that they wants their payment before 7 days of the date of the booking.. this first hotel which deals like this way.. the furniture are very old.. the towles are not clean and old ones..we moved the bed to search something was fallen and surprised that under the bed very dirty it seems they're cleaning only from side to side of the room.. don't recommend anyone to stay there.. specially who are foreigners (travelers coming from outside of India).. the stafss are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is close to the market only this thing is good.. the value of the money not worth it better to pay the same price for the other new resorts in the mahablishwar..
Bed was fun
I booked taking half board meal but after asking at the reception they told me that half board means only breakfast
