Pros: Fantastic hotel with old world charm but with totally modern facilities - the spa is amazing and with a view over the lake. The bedroom had a lake view and terrace which was a super bonus. Great staff on reception, Spa and breakfast. A true 5 star hotel, absolutely loved it and trust me I travel a lot.

Cons: When I booked it I was told I could pay at the venue. I discovered they had already charged my card - as I'm living in Switzerland I wanted to pay cash or with my Swiss credit/bank card. Sadly they charged my UK card and I will now incur foreign transaction charges. I actually think this is booking.com's fault not the venue - as booking.com was misleading. Just makes it more expensive than it needed to be.

Pros: The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the lake which offers amazing views of the area. It is close to the city center, approx. a 10 minute walk downhill (it is a bit steep to climb up again, though). We got a free room upgrade from booking.com, so we had a huge room with separate living and bed rooms, a huge bathroom and kitchen, and a well-sized balcony overlooking the lake. So comfortable! Breakfast was amazing! A vast choice of different food, very tasty bread and excellent espresso coffee that you can order. The spa center was also very nice, with separate saunas for men and women. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Pros: The location of the hostel is perfect! It's literally 3 minutes from the train station, which means it's a good choice if you're intention is to explore places outside of the city. The swimming pool at the site is also quite nice!
Cons: The beds are quite uncomfortable. Also, if you're sleeping in one of the dormitories, be prepared for everything. Sleeping in a room with a lot of people simply increases te probability of encountering someone inconsiderate or "stranger than usual".

Pros: The hotel was very nice. I wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely swimming pool. Parking for free. The room was very comfortable and big. The location is good too (20 min walking to city center) and you have a bus stop in front of the hotel. The staff was great! I arrived around 22h30 and noticed that I didn't have the air conditioned controller. After 30min they brought a new one for me. Very attentive and helpful. Nice breakfast. Highly recommended!

Cons: The bar was open but there was no bartender (we had to go look for him) and the bar closed while we were still having our drinks. Alas we took to the balcony of our room and enjoyed the nice view, so no harm done.

Cons: The entrance is quite small so if several guests check are at the reception it gets a bit snog but it's in the old town so the building is accordingly on the smaller side so there is nothing that can be done about that.
