Pros: The breakfast was nice. The receptionist was nice and helpful and we had a nice chat while I had breakfast.
Cons: The smell when I walked into the hotel. It had a urine scent. There was no elevator and I had to carry 23kg 2 flights of stairs. The receptionist of course helped however it is not a great experience. The room was dirty. However the maite came to clean it pretty fast. I find the Starwars sort sound music in the lobby pretty weird/not suiting a hotel. The visibility from outside. At first I was at the neighbours trying to get in...That the shared shower in the next morning wasnt clean so I walked through the hotel to find one that is not so dirty. Unfortunately the soap box in the shower broke/fell off it was pretty loose.

Cons: We stay in the same room 7208. This room needs balcony work. The railing is in really bad shape and the clamp near the top is rusting through. Pros: Beautiful property, on the waterfront. Excellent friendly staff.

Pros: The hotel itself is an older hotel that has been renovated to be a hipper more boutique style hotel. The changes are nice and the restaurant had great food, atmosphere, staff and entertainment.
The rooms were nice and decent. Th doors to the rooms were carved wood which gave the rooms a more Mexican style theme.
Beds were comfortable but i found the pillows to soft. The hotel provides earplugs which are useful if you are a light sleeper due to the boat and ship horns that blow over the water.
The rooms also include a Kerig style coffee maker with different coffees and teas to choose from. We did not use it but it was nice to know it was there.
The best thing about this hotel is the views of the Long Beach shoreline. During the day or at night it is beautiful to see over the bay in between.
The location is optimal if you are going to visit the Queen Mary as it is about a 15 minute walk.

Pros: The hotel was fairly spacious and located on a peninsular overlooking the marina, so nice views. Staff were friendly and there's a swimming pool, separate little beach area and nice restaurant attached to the hotel.
Cons: This hotel has been refurbished recently, but it is quite an urban, concrete design and feel - rather cold and not in any way cosy, but not quite urban funky either. The room was a reasonable size but felt a bit dark; coffee machine didn't work (but to be fair they replaced right away) - just not quite the luxe waterside hotel we were expecting, more of a city hotel close to the water but amongst the docks and cranes too - quite an industrial area if you like that kind of thing! They have tried to mitigate this by adding a pool and beach (and you can walk from the hotel to other parts of Long Beach, or there's a free shuttle) but a bit too urban/industrial for us.

Pros: The room was clean and attractive, and the restaurant food was good.
Cons: I received a message from the BonVoy app at 10am in the morning saying my room was ready. When I arrived at 1pm, the front desk staff told me my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait a few hours. Ridiculous! They weren't even apologetic. I was told I'd receive a text message when the room was ready. At 5pm, I still hadn't received a text message but returned to the hotel to demand a room be assigned to me. I was told that the room had been ready for a while (?!?!). When I told them I didn't get a text message and reminded them that I had effectively waited seven hours for my room to be readied, they were again unapologetic and merely assigned me a room.

Pros: Love the classy Queen Mary ship/hotel. For her age, she's truly beautiful and well cared for inside to out. The view from top deck is a must-see! Make sure u have a good camera! Room was cozy and clean; beds were great quality and COMFORTABLE!
Cons: Room rate almost doubled day after (on a Wednesday?), so we only stayed 1 night. Had the rate been same or reasonable, we would've stayed 1 to 2 more nights.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing. Horrible service. Horrible staff.
Cons: Extremely rude staff.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bar
Cons: The parking charge
4,6 Okay
Pros: Location, history make it worth the experience of a sleepless night on comfortable beds in a drafty cold room
Cons: Very COLD NO HEAT, I slept in my cloths didn't even shower, too, too cold.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: DONT CHANGE A THING !!! ITS AWESOME !! Maybe allow a little more access for fans of the history and dramatic discount the tours for guests staying more than one night. OH !! ALSO the free shuttle back and forth to Long Beach was FANTASTIC and made the stay an A+ !!!
Cons: How expensive it was for tours and a lot of exhibits were closed and off limits without explanation. That was disappointing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Historical setting. It’s a unique experience and my family WILL stay there again.
Cons: It’s REALLY hard to call the front desk from outside the hotel!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Once in a lifetime experience. Great for history or paranormal buffs. Staff and tour guides are amazingly helpful and informative. Sunday brunch IS expensive, but amazingly delicious and with tons of options.
Cons: VERY NOISY!!!!! Noisy Carnival ships nearby. Noisy ice machine in corridor. Tour groups passing our door multiple times a day. Caterwauling crying lady next door one night after midnight for a full thirty minutes. Expensive food on ship and requires sticking to a "normal" schedule. No in-room fridge or microwave, so every meal requires leaving the room and/or the ship. Hot water was inconsistent at best.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very interesting. The restaurant, Sir Winston, was perfect, the adjoining bar, very very good.
Cons: No!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The Queen Mary is a unique, one of a kind Hotel and museum. It’s a 1930’s Ocean Liner that was built as Art Deco palace representing Britain on the high seas. The craftsmanship and detail is always worth a visit.
Cons: I realize that this complicated museum is difficult and outrageously expensive to maintain. I can forgive the taped carpets and the peeling paint. What I object to is how little attention is paid to things the hotel staff can actually do something about.
7,0 Good
Pros: The vending area just outside our room had a very cool dim Art Deco, steam punk sort of 'Alice in Wonderland' feel, complete with something like 2x2 creme & green checkered tiles -- don't remodel this aspect -- for me it was surprisingly awesome to see.
Cons: No fridge, nor microwave, nor coffee maker -- just a few bottled water for purchase. Really depleted of extra amenities one would have in motel 6 -- dumb omission in my view, and in my opinion could've easily fit into a more well designed TV cabinet.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were bigger than I thought they would be and comfortable. We both enjoyed all the history we learned just from exploring the ship
Cons:
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The Queen Mary gives you the opportunity to see what ocean liners were like in their "Glory" days. Spending a night on her is like stepping back in time.
Cons: The food on board was VERY pricey. It was good quality and the servers were excellent, but prices were a bit much.

Pros: Room is excellent. Large area with two beds - one somewhat isolated from other. Large flat screen, nice shower, small fridge, microwave.
Cons: A real "thanks, now get out" operation. "Free parking" is very limitied, then you're out of luck. Also, I was there to work on a night job. I asked for a late checkout. Front desk said noon for free, $35 for 2pm. I took noon, but they called me at 10:30!

Pros: Friendly, great location, within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations. Felt very safe and the kids didn’t want to leave. Very clean inside and looks like they recently renovated. Very very nice.
Cons: We wish they would of been a little more lenient with the late check out since our flight didn’t board until 5:45pm but we also understand. We understand you can’t offer late checkouts all the time because work needs to be done, rooms need to be cleaned, laundry needs to be done. Maybe just look at it on a case by case. We only planned to stay one night but we liked it so much that we stayed 4 and payed for an extra hour to check out late. The late checkout is not something that should be held against the hotel because we certainly understand where they are coming from but we just want you to maybe look at it on a case by case basis.

Pros: The room was a good size, but that's about where the compliments end. Some of the staff were very friendly, but there seemed to be some neglect of keeping things on track at the front desk. *see the rest of my review*
Cons: The parking was inadequate to say the least. The flooring in the bathroom was coming up in several places. The beds were VERY loud, so not great when you're trying not to wake up everyone else in the room when you move any bit. The breakfast, while I didn't expect much, was even worse then expected. There was only apples, bananas, some prepackaged danishes, mini super sweet chocolate chip muffins, 2 types of cereal in some plastic storage containers to pour from, and then the breakfast drink in a fountain drink style machine. The pool was unheated, not that I really expected it to be, and for some reason, you weren't allowed to get back to your room, after going in the pool, using the elevator. The walls of the hallway had air pockets in the paint. It seemed like it needed a renovation about 10+ years ago and they're still putting it off. Windows don't really do much to keep out sound or air. The AC never got the room cool at night even when we had it at 60° the entire stay. The elevator was very janky and made weird noises as it slowly moved. There were so many things wrong, I'm sure I'm forgetting many.
Also, while I was there, someone came out of the elevator smoking a lit cigarette which made the elevator just a cloud of smoke. I have asthma and smoke highly affects me and I was shocked. I braved the elevator with my shirt over my face and trying to hold my breath as long as possible since I was on the top floor and wasn't able to take the stairs. I then went straight to my room to call the front desk so they could do something about it, and the line was busy. I assumed it was still busy down there seeing as I just came from there, so waited a few minutes and tried again, and got the same thing. I tried a few more times over the next 15-20 minutes and it was a busy tone the whole time. I could see the front desk from my room's window and so I checked to see if it was really that busy right then, and it looked empty other than the worker behind the desk. I saw the guy there not on the phone and had called right before and after I looked out the window and still got nothing. As it was already almost 10 and my friends had already gone to bed; I couldn't keep calling the front desk. When I told them in the morning at check out, they basically said that there is nothing they can do about what people choose to do when they know they're not supposed to do said thing. Maybe they could've if they'd picked up the phone and not left it off the hook. They had video camera too. This seems neglectful of them.
I will not be going back for many reasons and do not recommend to others.

Pros: It was a great deal, close enough to the convention center, the room was big and nice.
Cons:
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: For a 110.00 a night it was one of the nastiest places I have stayed. The room smelt so bad the curtains had stains all over it. The bed had long black hair in it. Hair in the bathtub. Never ever will I stay there again
Cons:
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is convenient to activities and amenities like grocery store (Vons is 2/10 mile away and open late). Staff ils friendly and the grounds are well manicured. The hot water is HOT and fills the jacuzzi tub!
Cons: There is a thick mustiness that made the room smell stale. The mirrors above the bed were concave carnival funhouse in nature. Continental breakfast is available but meant for someone on the go.

Cons: There was nothing not to like accept I wanted to get a smoking room for my fiancee cause she's a smoker but I was told that I would have to checkout and come back at 3:00 p.m.
