Breakfasts were great, as always. Reception staff was super nice.
Compared to previous stays during the past 15 years, the property is looking a little shabby, like everything needs to be cleaned and vacuumed really well. The back garden looked positively neglected, which is a shame because it used to be a lovely spot to relax after a long touristy day. Has the property changed hands from the original owner?
The daytime staff member was really pleasant and just very nice to deal with. The location was good.
The room was too small for three people. We were supposed to be there for a week and we cut our stay short to three days. You could barely move in the bathroom and there were floor tiles missing, holes in the wall tiles where things had been removed....basically, it needed refurbishing. The room overlooked the rear yard which sounds lovely, but as non-smokers who like to have the window open, it was horrible with the smokers outside and we kept having to open and close the window in the early morning and late evening as the smokers came and went!
The ladies that ran the breakfast room were real nice
Asked in advance for a mobility accesssble room We got offered one six flights up or basement level My Father really struggled with small windy stairs
Original old London house. Only 20 minutes by food from Tower Bridge.
Room was nice and big but bathroom is quiet narrow..
