Small room, but good for one person on a short stay. Neat little bathroom with shampoo and shower gel provided. Free tea and coffee and WiFi. Great location, quiet, not far from Euston or shops towards Covent Garden. Friendly, helpful staff.
Breakfast only served until 9am so didn't get to try it, but not the fault of the staff. No bedside table. Light above pillow/head area makes sitting up in bed uncomfortable.
My room with ensuite was newly decorated and lovely. Clean appearance throughout. Towels, soap and shower gel availalable in room. All staff friendly and willing to try to help with any problems or travel directions. Walking distance to a choice of tube stations, restaurants, University of London/Senate House. Didnt hear any noise and felt safe.
My lovely shower was too hot to use. Minor criticism: quality of sausages at breakfast poor (possibly how they are cooked or stored once cooked) as I came down an hour earlier to see if it made a difference but it did not. Otherwise, they gave an adequate served breakfast with orange juice, tea/coffe, cereal, toast, cooked breakfast and it was enough to keep me going until lunchtime at least.
Great location, property was v clean, lovely breakfast and the staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Chose purely for location - which is brilliant for theatre and museums and tube/rail in easy walking distance. Staff could not have been more helpful, informative and supportive. Compact twin room ideal for quick London trip. Clean and functional- exactly what was required. Daughter delighted by how good WiFi is. I loved breakfast with real table service - as opposed to chains that I’m booked into for work trips. Loved being asked if I knew where I was going or needed help with directions. Loved they remembered to ask in morning what I thought of the play I went to see. Will definitely try and book Ridgemount next time I’m doing a cultural London trip instead of work.
