The staff at the reception spent too long checking us in because one of the guests arrived earlier than the rest of the party. Upon showing the booking he was given a room separate from the booking. This meant that when the rest of the party arrived they had an extra room for which (the staff insited) we had to pay. Although it was clearly a mistake of the reception staff it took almost half an hour to explain and sort it out.
Amenities were great. Loved the steam room, jacuzzi indoor and outdoor, spa services. Room service was good. Staff was very attentive. Accommodating to arrival and departure times. Breakfast options were abundant and high quality.
There were security and staff everywhere, though i felt safe, there was very little privacy. I don’t know the guest policies in Lima but it doesn’t seem very acceptable to have outside guests come visit without being harassed. I had a friend come and they would not allow her to come to my room even though she had my room number and name details. I’m paying a quite a bit of money only to have to ask permission to have a visitor who is just visiting not staying. Also spa and gym reception areas just need to be combined, very confusing if you want to use jacuzzi or steam room before your spa service. My room was located on a high floor but they were doing construction on top of my room. The buzzing from the tools did not end my stay well.
Beautiful lobby, lounge and facilities! The beds are super comfortable with lovely down pillows and duvets. Very nice!
You have to walk through the front lobby to get to the pool and gym area, which is a bit awkward in a robe or towel!
Excellent restaurants, pool and whirlpool
The room (bed and bathroom) was fantastic!!! The shower was one of the best ones I have experienced in a hotel. Perfect volume of flow and temperature flexibility. Room service was really good. Bed was super comfy and the room overall was very spacious!
Shoe polish was complimentary and I utilized this, only for the zipper to be ruined on one of them when they were returned -- the zipper wouldn't go up/down anymore and in trying to fix it once I told them about it, the zipper handle broke. So, my shoes were a total loss. Now, in fairness, they did try to help and were courteous but I didn't ask for compensation, nor did they offer any.
