Comfort Suites University

I love that the staff called our room to check on our comfort after we got settled in the room. The location was close to several restaurants. The decor in the Lobby is awesome. The pool was clean and water was a perfect temperature.

There was no sausage for breakfast and I couldn't eat the eggs because it had cheese in the middle. Maybe a choice of plain eggs next time? Hard boiled eggs as an alternative is not the same as scrambled eggs. The window curtain had a huge tear and it wouldn't close completely - not good for a room on the first floor. I saw a cockroach crawling from the AC unit across the carpet. I killed it! When checking in, I told the clerk that I needed to do a tax exempt because it was for work. He looked at my identification and said he will waive the taxes, but the morning invoice still showed the sales tax on it. Although the clerk felt it was only a few dollars, but it's not easy when having to explain why a non-profit government organization is paying sales tax during an audit.
