Pros (+) Very friendly hosts. Amazing location! Historic feel and great decor, too. Fresh coffee every morning.
Cons (-) The place definitely needs a little investment in amenities (kettles and fridges in rooms would be nice). Bathrooms need some plumbing work, and the hotel bathroom has all sorts of critters, probably low staffed right now. Some work on ventilation to remove in-room musty smell might go a long way for this historic place.

Pros (+) The staff is amazing and super friendly! Very easy to work with!!
Cons (-) Everything was great! One little thing, if you rely on hotel shampoo and conditioner, it is an all in one that they have so plan accordingly!

Pros (+) Nice old hotel. Rooms are small but cozy. Some facilities need updating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On premise restaurant was great. Overall a nice place to stay, a good value for Lake Placid, which can tend to be pricey especially in season.
