Pros: The hotel was in an excellent location within walking distance of the blue cable car, and restaurants. We booked the top floor apartment overlooking the city which was very spacious. The staff were extremely helpful and very kind to my husband when he was suffering from altitude sickness. I would also recommend eating in the restaurant. Highly recommend the hotel.

Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and cozy. The heating was very good. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection. The free complementary welcome cocktail and desserts with our dinner order as well as daily chocolates from room service was a nice touch.

Pros: Staff were amazing, location is great, views are spectacular and the breakfast was perfect! 10/10! We were in La Paz as part of our honeymoon and my husband was REALLY (really!) unwell with a tummy bug. Without going into gory details, the staff were incredibly kind and dropped up new towels, water, cleaned the room more frequently and wouldn't accept any extra money for quite a lot of extra service we received.

Cons: Night Staff insists big bottle of water provided in the bathroom cost 25 bolivianos. I have to dig out from the bin the tag that says complimentaria while checking out at 2am. (Yes, the room was so clean that it was not necessary to have cleaning service for two nights' stay therefore the bin had not been changed). He still made me sign the bill although he said I did not need to pay. A small detail of feedback of misinformation to an excellent hotel that is worth all the applause

Pros: I suppose the best thing was location in a safe lively area.

Cons: -1st room we had had the floor to ceiling windows as shown in internet, but it was not possible to see through two windows so the view was completely disrupted and it was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Changed rooms but 2nd room did not have one wall of windows as seen in internet and view was not what I booked. -we both took massage. The girls were not experienced and the massage was a waste of time and money and the spa Gad nothing else to offer . The lockers did not lock and spa closed on Sundays. -breakfast was very basic -lamps on both sides of beds were broken -bathtub drain broken and bathtub would not drain -room was cold and heating did not work well -only one elevator was very inconvenient

Cons: The single elevator for hotel use can take a while, making arriving and leaving a bit lengthy.

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! We came in early morning and they kept the room ready and charged us only half day. We left early to catch a flight and they packed us a cute breakfast box. The little things matter!

Cons: The room wasn't clean. There was plastic paper in the room with dust and hair in the bathroom drain. Expected a bit more based on the amount we were paying. But the staff were very nice and came in to inspect and clean.

Pros: Everything about this hotel is just great- lovely and super-friendly staff, well conversant in English and always attentive to guests. The hotel is extremely modern, new, comfortable and well taken care of. The beds are great. The views from the room to the Teleferico and the extra-special mountaneous landscape of La Paz. I would absoluetly recommend this hotel in prime and one of the best locations of the cool Sopocachi, great vegetarian restaurants around, close to blue Teleferico that takes you in 10 mins to the fabulous city center- all-in-all a great package!

Pros: We stayed 3 nights at Ritz Apart Hotel. The staff were always very friendly and always very helpful. The room was spacious and quite. We can’t think that we would have been able to stay at a better place in La Paz than the Ritz Apart Hotel. Thank you to all at the hotel for this great stay!

Pros: The service was amazing! From the restaurant to the cleaning staff, all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. Each day, in our suite we would find a courtesy treat waiting for us which was not only delicious but extremely thoughtful.

Pros: Good size rooms with living space.

Cons: The kitchen was tired and dated, but clean and functional.

Cons: Something stank around the kitchen and they didn't clean it until I complained. Room cleaning was poor. Room service was poor and messy.

Cons: We booked this hotel because we needed a strong wifi connection. However, during our stay the internet didn't work at all and the hotel refused to give us any compensation.

Pros: Room was great; could hear neighbors well, however, and they were smoking... Pool not as good as on the pictures...we didn't even go swimming. My friend left at 4:30 am to go to the airport and reminded the reception that I was still sleeping and checking out at 8 am but nevertheless a man entered the room at 4:45 am thinking it was ready to clean. Almost gave me a heart attack as I was still sleeping! that was really unprofessional and the "apology" after as well, but otherwise good location, etc.

Pros: The breakfast is good, we need to leave hotel early, and it also have breakfast at that time. in the first night, the room of our design is not good, and we had changed to the new rooms, it's very good.

Cons: The gym was "not working". The pool was surrounded by stacked up plastic chairs and the lockers/change rooms were in a mess. Nothing like what was promised. And the staff could all do with lessons in customer service. Most could barely crack a smile, let alone offer assistance. All of this is the big difference between stating in a Hyatt/Marriott chain hotel vs an independent.

Cons: Bathroom a little dated, EXTREMELY hot at night with no way of cooling down, construction happening within hotel so noisy at times. Advertised as having a gym, was in fact two half broken machines that have seen no maintaining since they were bought 25 years ago.

Pros: I liked that the staff were very helpful with one of our group members traveling on crutches and wheelchair, and very accommodating to the rest of our group, supplying heaters and towels. The shower was hot and breakfast plentiful. The service definitely exceeded my expectations based on the price!

Cons: Paint was peeling from the room walls, the room smelled, the bathroom shower had duck tape deployed, and at 11pm at night no hot water was available.

Pros: We’d stayed here previously prior to going to the Amazon for a few days so knew we liked the location and that the rooms were a little dated but comfortable and a cheap and cheerful place to stay.

Cons: The bed we had the second time around was a lot less comfortable than the last and the shower room this time was not clean. There were clumps of hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower which was unpleasant.

Pros: Good location - close to the centre and also a few nice restaurants. Room was tidy and bed comfortable. Shower room next door. Good breakfast.

Cons: Wifi a little temperamental. Rooms can be cold so request heater from reception which they kindly offer.

Cons: The breakfasts were not acceptable compared with several other hotels on our trip in Bolivia. Worst of all was that the milk provided for the coffee was evidently spoiled. We complained but on the following day this was true once more. And the coffee was cold, etc. This hotel was not up to expectations. This is the only negative review I have ever given for a hotel in many years of traveling, so I am not a finicky person.

Cons: The room had been renovated very recently but did not have an extractor fan fitted yet.

Pros: Very hot water available 24hrs for showers. Nice big room, comfortable bed. Nice view from the room down to the beach. They also had a nice garden with llamas you could feed, a common area with TV, various places with stone tables n chairs or hammocks. Very relaxing and quiet.
