Pros: We loved the building. So nicely renovated. Spacious room. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. The hotel organized a private (walking) tour guide for us on short notice. Very much appreciated. Transfer from and to the airport was seamless. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing negative to report.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Really nice and friendly staff, e.g. they helped us to arrange a trip to lake Titicaca by recommending bus operators and offering a room at their sister hotel in Copacabana
Cons: Can get a little noisy when staying in rooms facing the street
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We stay here at the beginning and end of every Bolivian visit. Hotel Rosario is our go-to place. From the initial pickup at the airport for a nominal fee to our final goodbyes. The rooms are clean, large, well designed with Bolivian art in all the rooms. The breakfast is terrific. The outside lounge areas very comfy. I like the selection of books and teas in their lobby. When the restaurant is open, the dinners are terrific -- no need to find another place to eat. The staff are graciously kind and very helpful.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The decor was very interesting. We liked the onsite restaurant for convenience. The hotel provides hot drinks 24 hours per day. The location is great with easy walking to see sights. The beds are comfortable.
Cons: Rooms are a bit small. There is some noise from the street which can affect sleep. The shower curtain/design did not keep water inside the shower.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was just simply perfect! We arrived early and they had a room available for us immediately. We also needed to check out very early in the morning and they even let us have breakfast bevor the opening hour. Thank you for an awesome stay!
Cons: The only thing was that the room to the street was a bit noisy. But it is a big city so it’s complaining on a high level.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Everything
Cons: The room is a bit cold
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Nice hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast - we had a room facing the courtyard - was very quiet. Would stay there again.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: very peaceful place, spatious rooms, good breakfast, very helpful staff. the tour we booked to valle de las animas was amazing, our tour guide Sandro was very kind and patient!
Cons: unfortunately, the hotel provided the lunch box for the tour and it was full of plastic, even the apple and the banana were wrapped in plastic!

Cons: First night we had a room with bad mattress. Room was very smelly - we don't know why. The second to 5th night we stayed at a different room with 2 beds, much better mattress. That room was very similar but as smelly as the firs one.
Okay 5,8
Pros: Very large apartment with kitchen, suitable for family or those with babies. Dinner was good.
Cons: Standard is far from a 5 star hotel. Very old apartment building far from international standard on many aspects, fixtures, facilities, services. Looks like designed in the 80s and many things worn out. Location is very far from the main area, had to walk and climb many stairs over 25 minutes to the witches market in altitude, it was exhausting to get to the Centre. Upon arrival, the staff could not find our booking and did not have our room prepared. I had to show the booking.com confirmation. For a queen size double bed, there was only one pillow. Nobody introduced the facilities to us probably. I only found out there were hot tea at the entrance from reading others reviews. Kitchen and apartment is large but mostly useless and unthoughtful design spaces. Before arrival we tried to contact hotel via booking to book a taxi pick up but didn’t reply. Got our bus tour guide to call up hotel and hotel said cannot organize taxi. As a 5 star hotel, it was unbelievable! Eventually our bus tour guide helped us to get a taxi to hotel instead. Breakfast had little choices and disappointing. Gym was only a room with few machines. We were woken up 4am twice in the morning by some alarm. We asked the front desk what was that about or did they set morning call wrongly for someone else to our room, the staff had no idea... All we wanted was just a good night sleep ... Overall very disappointing. Not worth the price at all. Felt got cheated on a 2star apartment paying for a 5 star hotel
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The hotel is pretty good. It’s located in a safe and quite neighbourhood and the room is spacious. The front desk of this hotel is friendly and they helped us a lot. The hotel provides breakfast and the fruits are nice. Overall the experience is exceptional and I definitely recommend this hotel!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very comfortable and clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. Good stay.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The rooms in the hotel are really big, they have a kitchen and a living room. The view from the 8th floor was really good. Since it is really comfortable and the staff is really friendly, it is perfect for getting used to the altitude. In our view it is also really good value for money. It is also very close to the mi teleferico public transport system (teatro aire libre on the white line)
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Extremely spacious rooms, wide selection of food for breakfest, quite helpful receptionist.
Cons: We were moved from our room to different one.. (the same but after 22 hours trip it was not comfortable)

Excellent 9,0
Pros: The position is very good, near to everywhere in the center rooms is spacious and bed is comfy. Internet is okay
Cons: check in a little slow breakfast can be better for a 5 star hotel
Excellent 10,0

Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The room is spacious and clean and all the staff are very nice and helpful. In particular Miguel S. help me a lot in contacting my carry-on two hotels to arrange pick up for me from the bus station to the hotels. I will definitely recommend you to stay in this hotel.
Cons: The floor of the bathroom will get wet because the bathtub does not have complete curtain
Good 7,0
Pros: Nice and helpful staff who speak English Reasonable breakfast. Good to have restaurant on site as so many closures in La Paz due to Corona virus. Comfortable bed. Good size room and centrally located
Cons: Swimming pool and sauna closed due to Corona virus. I wouldn’t rate this as a 5 star hotel. Supply of toiletries a bit sparse and no bathrobes. Bit disappointing really
Good 7,9
Pros: Great location, quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice pool
Cons: I chose this hotel because my son needs to practice running in a fitness center. However, its treadmill is not good enough and can’t increase the speed to his goal.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: The booking process on Kayak sucked. when I booked, the confirmation page said I still need to complete the dress/ postal code fields and indicated that no charge had been put through on my card. so ai assumed the booking was not complete. I ended up being double charged.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Front desk personal were OK OTHER than the person in charge when I checked out at 5:15 am
Cons: Most of the staff especially kitchen didn't smile say Thank You or make you feel welcome. Lousy service WEAK breakfast for the money. Water in shower luke warm. They charged me an extra $20 for a hand towel that they said was too dirty!!!! They did didn't even try to wash it.!! Manager wasn't there when I checked out so the front desk person said HE was in charge.!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Front desk stuff super friendly and professional. Good breakfast, very fast elevators. Clean rooms, good location.
Cons: Spa opening hours - only from 1pm till 9pm. Not able to use it in the morning at all!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Spacious room and bathroom Nice view from the room Great breakfast from 4 am The food in the restaurant is really tasty, the portions are big and the price is friendly Spa (pool and 2 saunas)

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are very clean and bright. The bathrooms are clean and well furnished. The breakfast is rich and tasty.
Cons: A bit cold in the night.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Excellent location next to very scenic. yellow Teleferico line which makes getting around town easy. Relatively quiet yet lively local neighbourhood away from tourist bustle. Very helpful front desk staff. Very generous and comfortable space.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The location is fine
Cons: I had the apartment 501. The whole furniture and equipment was very old and used. Cleanliness far away. It rained during my stay and the bathroom was flooded by the incoming water.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I arrived at the Alcala the day National lockdown started in Bolivia due to the COVID 19 virus. I’d just been to the airport to try and get on a flight that didn’t have any seats left. So I arrived a bit tearful and upset at the hotel thinking I was going to be quarantined for weeks. The staff were so kind and sympathetic. There were three rooms occupied in the hotel and we were so well looked after. They kept me fully informed and stayed open for the following two weeks whilst I waited for a flight back to the UK. Eric from reception stayed up with me to wait for my night taxi once the Embassy had managed to organise a flight for the Brits in Bolivia. He was so sweet and kind. I am very grateful to the hotel for looking after me in such a difficult time, there was no question that they would close and leave me stranded and everything I needed was provided. Thank you so much and I hope to return to la Paz again as soon as I can. I would definitely stay here again, the location was perfect and the surrounding area was really lovely and safe. Many thanks to all the staff for their kindness and help.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7,1
Pros: I liked the room we were given. Very comfortable bed. Hot water. Heater.
Cons: There was a communication problem. So I had asked for Airport pickup at least two months before the arrival. I also provided my arrival time and airline flight details but the hotel did not sent be a confirmation until the day of my flight and while I was boarding the airplane. So I had no way of checking the email since I didn't have the internet. Me and my friends did not see my name sign in the airport so we took a cab to the hotel. And they told me a cab has been waiting for me I the airport for an hour and made me pay. I tried to tell the receptionist that I never got a confirmation. They sent me a confirmation too late.
Good 7,5
Pros: Good breakfast with service boy
Cons: The room furniture was quite used.

Cons: Worst hotel ever. Please avoid it. Service in inexistant. Reception is slow, answer 2 multiples phones during your conversation. 5 stars over.

Pros: Good location at the centre.
Cons: Poor breakfasts. Very old furniture, the rooms need renovation. Only 1 bottle of water in the room. No slippers, no bath robes, very dirty pool. Poor mini bar. Very noisy at night - you can hear every sound from outside. We could not sleep at all.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We only stayed in La Paz for a weekend, so we were looking for a nice and comfortable hotel in a good location. Staff is incredibly friendly, polite and efficient. Hotel Presidente ticked all our boxes. The hotel is located a walking distance from some tourist spots in the city (Basilica de San Francisco, Witch Market, Plaza Murillo and Calle Jaen). Breakfast is good. Only disappointing aspect were the restaurants. Would definitely use the hotel again but choose to eat out.
Cons: Food in the hotel restaurants, unfortunately didn’t reflect the quality of the hotel.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Proximity to mercado de las bujas
Cons: Bad neighborhood, VERY dated hotel in bad neighborhood. Expensive!!!!

Cons: The wifi was very slow and impossible to use

Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful. I fell ill while I was there and the waiter who brought me room service realised and within minutes reception had called me to ask if everything was ok. They called a doctor for me and made sure I was well looked after for the rest of the stay. Raul at reception was superb!

Cons: WiFi rather temperamental and breakfast on the limited side (nice rolls though)

Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room and hostel. Breakfast was good. Located in a interesting street full of handicraft stores.
Cons: They don’t really have a kitchen we can use to cook (but I heard it’s typical in Bolivia). The rooms get super humid and hot because there are no windows.

Pros: The room was spacious, clean and pretty central
Cons: Took a while for the hot water to come through Breakfast was pretty average Bit noisy outside
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Lovely situation for all the main sights in la Paz. Friendly staff and great service
Cons: Nothing
Good 7,9
Pros: Good location lots of restaurants around. Witch market not far. Starting point of city tour bus nearby. Winter and room is cold but portable heater is available on request.
Cons: Wifi sometimes not working but staff fix it immediately
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The room was large and spacious with a view over the city. Colourful murals adorned the walls making for a vibrant happy atmosphere. Breakfast was great, eggs, crepes, fruit, cereal etc. Witches markets, restaurants and teleférico station all nearby, however many were closed during our visit due to the protests. Other sights nearby if you don't mind an incline. Staff were exceptional, very helpful and went out of their way to ensure our safety and wellbeing during the crisis.
Good 7,5
Pros: The location! Close to the main plaza and witches’ market.
Cons: The noise from the street in the front but, after a busy day, it didn’t bother us at all. We also had ear plugs!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: It was clean. Location was perfect, just few steps away from witches market and city center. Reception people were nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. It was cold but we have been provided with an electric heater. Water was coming hot which is not a standard expectation in Bolivia.
Cons: Wi-Fi is never working in your room, it works only on the ground and in the lobby on the first floor.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The staff spoke perfect English and that's very important after travelling through Bolivia for a while. And what is more important, there was hot water in the shower!
Cons: There was no internet at times.

Pros: Heated room. Lovely comfortable bed. Historic building. Great location.

Pros: The most helful and nice staff I have ever met in any hotel/hostel. Nicely designed rooms, great location. Very safe and cozy place with nice silent patios. Perfect place for both- for rest and to visit La Paz!
Cons: Breakfast was poor ☹️
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Very helpful staff, very clean
Cons: Breakfast could be better
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff Price/quality Good breakfast Confortable room and bathroom Very helpful with travel and tour contacts and arrangements (flight tickets and tours)
Cons: Nothing at all
Excellent 9,2
Pros: I was given a room that I assume was newly-renovated. It was much nicer than what I had expected. The facilities were beautiful, the showers were really hot and the internet was very decent.
Cons: Prior to my arrival, the hotel had confirmed that they would store my luggage until check-in since I was to arrive early (and I was not willing to pay for half a night’s stay to have the room early). When I arrived, I was told that my room was ready and that I could have it early. I said I would only take it if I didn’t have to pay extra. Otherwise I was ok with waiting a few hours. The man at reception reacted by just taking me to the room. That should have been a sign but at the time, I was naive and assumed it was just a nice surpris. During the following three days, three more staff members confirmed that their colleague had made a mistake, but still tried to get me to pay extra for that day. It started to make me really angry. The staff was nice, but either really disorganized or trying to get more money out of me (or both). Every one of them eventually agreed I shouldn’t have to pay, but none made a note of it on my file. I started anticipating having to plead my case every time I walked into te reception, which affected how ai felt about the place. On my final day, I paid for an extra night even though I wasn’t going to sleep there. I wanted to rest before my 2am flight. I was so over arguing that I didn’t even bother bringing this point up: How is it that arriving early would have cost me half a night’s stay but staying late wound up costing a full night’s stay? Be aware you might have to plead your case.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The location, the inner patios and the staff.
Cons: they're remodeling the hostal, our room was one of those that weren't. Anyway, the room was very nice but a in the need for the same work as the room in which some other friends stayed.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Hostel Rupublica; the property has historical significance and is broken into 3 seperate 'Patio's'. The first offers more traditional/simple accomodation and decor with shared bathrooms and access to all the common areas; or you can choose to upgrade (as we did) to the new build rooms in Patio 2; which include private bathrooms and modern decor and aesthetic. I particularly liked having options for various travellers budgets and trips. The breakfast is simple but a great start to the day all overseen by the lovely Flora. The staff were all lovely; and spoke perfect English if your Spanish isn't the best. I thank Dulna and her team for having us stay for 5 nights.
Cons: "It was great to be honest. We don't have any complaints. Everyone was nice" when asking my partner what we didn't like.

Pros: Lovely breakfast Lovely helpful staff Really good value for money Great location Beautiful old building with wooden floorboards
Cons: There was a bad smell of drains in our room but the staff moved us very quickly to a new (even bigger!) room
Excellent 10,0
Pros: An old building with loads of character and lots of room to move about in. The manager Juan Carlos is an absolute gem - friendly, speaks excellent English, full of information and good advice and always ready to help at any time. He even got up at 4:30 am on the day of the Rugby World Cup final to give us a hand setting up the computer to watch the match !!
Cons: Nothing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: An excellent location downtown La Paz, although it was very quiet. A very friendly owner who was very proud of his city. It was a large room.
Cons: It would be great if you could sit easily in the beautiful garden.
Good 7,9
Pros: We were only in this hotel for one night, and left very early the next morning for a flight. The hotel seems to be well located, but its hard for me to comment on that as we didn’t explore La Paz at all. The room they gave us was very big, it had two rooms...one with two single beds and one with a double bed. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was good...but there was no TV (there is one in a communal area) and no safe, which I thought was a bit disappointing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and even packed us a take away breakfast because we left so early. Overall a decent hotel, and was perfect for our one night in La Paz, but properly wouldn’t stay there longer than that due to lack of facilities.
Cons: As I mentioned about the room not having a TV and safe, we also thought there was far to much light that came in from the street. Some blackout curtains would help that a lot.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Lovely staff, nice breakfast and big room.
Good 7,1
Pros: Located below busy El Prado, a few blocks from San Francisco Church. The house has character and is not a run-of-the-mill hotel. Breakfast is served to order.
Cons: The shower was difficult to regulate in the first room I stayed in. The second room had an old tub with a hand-held shower and no shower curtain.

Pros: Good rooms with nice beds, hot shower and enough space for your belongings. Enough space to relax in the common area and roof terrace.
Cons: Breakfast is poor and also the cutlery and cups were really dirty! Everything is old and not very clean. We didn’t feel welcome at all and there is no great atmosphere. They have no sense for hospitality. Also the locks don’t work as they should.

Pros: Early check-in at about 6:30 am was possible. Very nice hostel with loads of potential. Pool, ping pong and foosball available. Breakfast was better than average in South America. The door man and night guard was nice. Room door locked by a key. Very nice and spacious shower. Towels are being provided in private rooms.
Cons: We had to climb literally 100 steps to our room... No elevator available and the staff didnt bother helping to bring up the luggage. The room smelled horribly like cigarettes everytime we entered (window and door was shut). No idea, where this smell came from. To get breakfast one needs to get coupons at the entrance. Why so complicated? Check-in and check-out date should be written on the wrist band like other hostels do. The food (empanadas and french fries) were brown. Staff (especially the guy at the reception) were strange and unfriendly.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Location, chill space, table games, comfortable beds, fun vibe, clean
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was not the fault of the hostel. The 20-bed room was quite noisy but I should have expected that so I have no room to complain!
Good 7,0
Pros: breakfast + room + bed
Cons: Owner - keep talking about having to pay salary of his workers when most of them are Volunteer travellers.

Pros: They allowed us very early check in
Cons: The bed linen were dirty, all in stains. It was very cold and loud in our room. The breakfast consist of bread, jam, cornflakes, fried egg on request, juice, coffee and tea. The second day the personal forgot of preparing us the breakfast box which we requested since we were leaving early.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very pleasant staff. Inside parking for my motorcycle. Very common room. Surrounding area a sensory experience. Would stay here again.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: After staying in hostels for the two weeks prior it was a nice change. Was a little eerie arriving at 3am (roller door was closed and hotel looked closed) but a the staff member stayed awake to check me in which was nice and appreciated. Clean rooms, free drinking water, fantastic location.
Cons: The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, only the hallways and in the lobby.
Okay 5,4
Pros: Location It was a very cold environment
Cons: Staff at reception a bit inflexable
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The room was big and the shower was excellent. Also, TV was good to watch! And they had cable.
Cons: The pillows were hard and it got a little cold at night.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Friendly helpful staff, especially in the last couple of days when La Paz was under a corona virus curfew. Taxis weren’t running so the manager’s son Edwin got us to the airport - exceptional service. Great breakfast and well located for all of the Tourist attractions.

Pros: My friend and I needed a hotel for a few hours as we waited for our overnight bus to Uyuni. We chose this because of its central location and value price. That being said, you get what you pay for and there's nothing special. It is in a central location, breakfast is basic cheese/bread/meat, and the bathroom water is very hot. Not bad, but nothing to rave about either. Would stay again if I needed a room for just a few hours but not an extended stay.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic and they did not offer eggs/hot foods. Overall the rooms aren't the newest but you can't expect that at this price.
Good 7,5
Pros: Staff were nice & helpful
Cons: The view out of the window was just a brick wall. Eggs weren't included in the breakfast.
Good 7,9
Pros: Staff was great and friendly always ready to help location not too bad
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very helpful and English speaking staff. Very welcoming and generally cared about our stay and offered a map and directions to see the city by gondola.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good location
Cons: Basic room but you get what you pay for
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We were able to check in in the morning. The breakfast was good. The hotel has a nice restaurant which was not too expensive. We had a small room with enough space to store our luggage.
Cons: Wifi did not work all the time. The bathroom was very small, it was difficult to use the toilet.

Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Very helpful staff
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The place was nice and clean and the stuff was helpful. The hotel is old, but it didn't bother me. Location is also very good, next to the Rodriguez mercado and close to the cable car. Hot shower as well.
Cons: The windows were a little noisy due to the wind. WiFi was weak.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Great staffs Facilities are well-maintained Good view of the city from the room Good breakfast
Cons: Location is not that good, dusty and somewhat dirty neighborhood Room is old
Excellent 8,3
Pros: This was the second time I'd stayed there. I knew what I was getting - a good-value basic single room with private bathroom. I needed a place close to the Bolivian Hop bus pick-up zone (they collected me from just down the road at Hostal Iskanwaya, where my friends were staying).
Cons: Nothing major really. I had to leave before breakfast started but they didn't offer to make me one early or to take away, which other hotels on this trip have done. They also don't let you fill drink bottles from the water coolers - you have to use tiny disposable cups. Hostels seem more progressive than hotels in this regard.
Good 6,7
Pros: Pretty central location, comfy bed, decent breakfast
Cons: The WiFi! I’ve had good WiFi in Bolivia and this hostel certainly isn’t. I was unable to use the empty tables in the dining room to work, limiting me to my room which was a bit rubbish. They said the breakfast time was until 10am, but I was refused entry after 9:30.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Wifi is very unstable. When we want use wifi, we had to go to the 1st floor.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: My room was ready when I arrived before 7am from an overnight bus trip, which was perfect. It was a big single room with private bathroom and good hot shower. Plenty of warm blankets. I loved the retro decor, colourful artwork and mirrors everywhere, plus a lift (very appreciated given the altitude). Nice view over the street markets and up into the hills. Central location, easy to walk to main tourist sites and the purple cable car line. Breakfast was pretty standard - coffee, tea, juice, bread, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cereal etc.
Cons: The downside of being close to the street markets is that it gets a bit noisy early morning at the weekends, as they set up well before sunrise. Otherwise it was reasonably quiet for such a busy area.
Good 7,5
Pros: Comfy rooms, hot showers.
Cons: WiFi not working on any of the floors apart from in/near reception. Breakfast was not very appealing either.

Pros: right at the center. close to the main bus station and allows u to early checkin bec of the arrival from uyuni trip and the arrival from international flight are both very early. 24hrs reception.. just ring the bell..
Cons: eventhou we didnt had d chance to have a brakefast at d hostel due we checkin early and check out very early also... we did it twice... from arriving fr the international flight and arriving fr uyuni.. we are told our brakefast was for the following day. but no biggie accepting us to checkin was good enough...
Okay 5,0
Pros: - good location - nice and clean rooms
Cons: - small breakfast which starts at 8am so you will miss it if you go to some tour - electric plugs not working in rooms - horrible wifi
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Our room was very spacious. Hot water was working, although it took some time to warm up. Beds were comfortable and the blankets were warm. Breakfast was sufficient and the breakfast ladies were nice. Good value for money and also located relatively near the Witches’ Market. A little further from the cable car station though.
Cons: The private bathroom didn’t have a door for the shower, so when we showered, water got everywhere in the entire toilet. There was no floor mat provided either, so we had to walk around with wet feet. We were given a corner room so the WiFi was quite bad as well. As the hostel was located beside the main road, it got quite noisy in the early mornings when cars and buses start honking.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: the hotel was small but clean. enough size for me and my fren with a small receiving area with a separate door. very comfy bed and nice air conditioning. small space but looks decent and clean. breakfast was very nice with alot of choices to chose from. baggage storage
Cons: the male staff who check us in when we arrive is extremely rude. he treated us as if we are illiterate giving emphasis when i was showing my booking thru my phone that he speake english and if i do too. we were treated as if we are staying for free. after we checked in we never approached the frontdesk anymore only when we saw its a different guy who is manning the desk. the lift was so old and slow not to mention small. if our room was not on the 9th floor taking the stairs will be a better option. wifi was weak in the room.
Good 7,5
Pros: The location and price. Breakfast was quite good for the price
Cons: During breakfast they run out of milk and I had to go out to buy my own. Breakfast service so slow as there is only one person serving. Not enough tables and chair for everyone, people was standing up waiting for others to leave. Was annoying as i had a tour to go to.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights, but in two types of rooms: one with a private bathroom and one with shared bathrooms. Location is pretty good: 5-7 mins’ walk from Todo Turismo bus terminal and near Bolivia Hop’s terminal as well. About 15 mins’ walk from Witches Market and a blue cable car station. Good value for money and nice staff, although the night duty staff can only speak minimal English. Beds are comfy and room is spacious! WiFi is strong only if your room is located near the central area, if you get a corner room the WiFi is as good as nonexistent. Shared bathroom was pretty good though, it was quite clean and had separate bathrooms for men and women so both my boyfriend and I can shower concurrently.
Cons: Private bathroom had no door separating the bathing section from the toilet so the whole toilet gets wet when you shower. Also, it’s tiled so it gets quite cold during cold months and there are no floor mats. WiFi in our corner room was so weak it was almost nonexistent. Shared bathrooms only had one cubicle each for men and women so there might be a need to wait.
Good 7,0
Pros: The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable, with enough blankets and TV cable, and showers are really good with plenty of hot water. In general the staff is friendly and the best is the location which is close to many amenities in La Paz, the bus terminal and good transport connections.
Cons: The hotel needs general maintenance, floors are too squeaky and the windows close to the hall do not have curtains, and is difficult to sleep because the light is on whole night. Breakfast was good however they do not have enough tables and chairs, guests have to wait long time for breakfast.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Breakfast is VERY good and the staff is quite friendly
Cons: My room was next to a window and there was a lot of noise. The pillows were very hard and WiFi didn’t always work

Pros: Low altitude. Staff was trying to be helpfull. Rooms vere big and comfortable. Heater in the room. There was a pool but we did not use it. It would be great for 3 star family hotel. Pls dont hurt this place saying it is 5 star at booking.
Cons: This is not 5 star hotel. This is family 3 star hotel. Bathroom was unsatisfatory even for 3 star. Internet connection was really bad. Staff do not speak english. Medicore breakfast
