Steigenberger Hotel and Spa Krems

Nice staff at the reception and restaurant Good location if you want to relax, to enjoy the nature. If you want to visit Krems ans surroundings, is not the best. Very good breakast and refined cuisine. Intrnet: works very well.

The housekeepers, particularly from the first floor: very noisy early in the morning. They enter three times in the room without a specific reason, including late in the afternoon. Obviously, English is not familiar for them. The construction nearby: perhaps it will be nice, but now affects the current guests: indoor swimming pool is. closed, noise of workers and so on. Outer swimming pool is surrounded by unfinished works. Ask for a room at the 2nd or 3rd floor, far from the staff that wants to arrange rooms before sunrise.... The price is the same....

Very good hotel restaurant. Broad selection of great quality of food and beverages, well organized breakfast even when the restaurant was compleatly full. Very professional restaurant staff and superb wine list. Very nice room with peacefull view.

Very late check in at 16.00. The indoor pool was closed, which we have been informed before with the note we can enjoy the spa and outside pool with the view to vineyards... . Which was only 1/2 of the true, the second half was the view on the part of the hotel under reconstruction and ugly fence... . Considering the rain outside with closed indoor pool, the hotel under reconstruction lost the value in my view.
