Overview

On the edge of the Flint Hills where the tallgrass prairie rolls north, the Best Western J. C. Inn welcomes travelers to Junction City, Kansas, minutes from the gates of the Army's Fort Riley. Water and grassland set the pace. Milford Lake, the largest lake in Kansas, spreads just northwest for boating, fishing, and the trails of Milford State Park, while the Geary County Historical Museum tells the town's story downtown. The Sundown Salute draws crowds for the Fourth of July, and the open Flint Hills stretch in every direction for a scenic drive into ranch country. A complimentary breakfast opens the morning, an indoor pool and fitness center cover the downtime, and a business center keeps work on track. Well-appointed rooms include a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker for easy mornings on the road. Military visit, lake weekend, or Flint Hills drive, Junction City keeps it all close.
