The bed was nice and the room was fairly big.
It was very dirty, as if the were some construction works in the room. The furniture were old. The street was extremely noisy.
Hotel was shady overall
Only location it's like 7min.away from journal SQ.subway station...
Housekeeping just once in 4njghts after we request it.. Very poor towels Poor Bed not stable at all No wardrobe to put your clothes Just a s.steel shelf... No kettle..you have to to go down to do coffee or tea in a little poor kitchen near lobby .. Staff in reception not professional at all..only one of them called Peter is fine. Overall I do not recommend it at all times...
Proximity to metro and availability of Indian food options in nearby hotels.
Completely unhygienic. I didn't want to touch any furniture, door or railings, neither I wanted to step on the carpet without my shoes or slippers. The wall were so thin that we could easily hear the voices from other rooms. They don't have parking available and the hotel surrounding is also dirty and unhygienic.
New York City is a wonderful destination for travelers but not everyone enjoys staying in the middle of it all. Instead, many folks enjoy being on the outside of the city, but the truth is there are just as many reasons to stay in Jersey City as there are to stay in New York. There is much to see and do in Jersey City, and whether you wish to use the location as a platform to visit New York or experience this city’s vibrant culture, the Haiban Inn puts you right in the middle of the city.
The Haiban Inn is a hotel that sits right in the middle of Journal Square, near the train station. This means you have easy access to get around the tri-state area as well as walking around the city. The hotel’s modern décor is ideal for its setting and the beds are quite comfortable. You can easily relax here as you get ready for what the next day has in store. However, location is what sets the hotel apart, because it’s right in the middle of where there’s so much to do.
One of the best things to do in Jersey City is enjoy the local culture. Like most of the New York City metro area, there is a hodgepodge of cultures calling this place home. You can walk down the street and have an experience with six different people hailing from six different continents. Though the hotel doesn’t offer an in-house restaurant, there are several options along the way including street carts and traditional sit-down establishments.
Staying in Jersey City is a great way to experience a different style of the New York metro area, and the Haiban Inn puts you in the middle of everything.
