Pros: The breakfast
Cons: I had a late arrival and my room was not ready despite the fact that I indicated my arrival time. I had to wait for one hour in the middle of the night and could access my room at 3.00 in the morning. That was a very expensive 3 hours sleep! My room was nothing special, just ordinary international standard.
4,2 Okay
Pros: facilities and location was good enough for such value
Cons: My room designated for single occupancy i guess but it was a hidden room maybe no one stayed in this room for decades maybe. When i first entered in the room it was smelly like smoked and i complained about this to the staff at the reception and his suggestion was to refresh the room

1,0 Poor
Cons: I stayed at this hotel on a cold night on January 2020 with my 2 children, aged 3 years and 8 months respectively, and this hotel lacks a heating system. And to make things worse the AC was working prior to my check-i. Despite booking a royal suite, I had to stay the whole night under the pillows to make sure that my kids don't go sick, imagine how hard it was!! I approached the reception on several times and nothing was done, apart from a trial of keeping the AC on with adjusting the room temperature and this made things worse. I would never advice anyone to go to this hotel during winter, despite being short lasting season in the area.

Pros: The location and it is really comfortable

Pros: Nothings , May be location !
Cons: Three major issues:- Firstly, there was a day that never got a hand towels. Tried to call the hotel, but never answer as usual. Secondary, I have asked for non smoking room, however my room wasn’t one . Thirdly , After a long tiring day when I came back i had my room the way I left it, house keeping seems forgot about me. Then i have tried calling the reception, Housekeeping and room service no one seems to pick up the phone . I had to run down my self to the reception asking them to service my room. I had the worst customer service ever . Very rude customer service from the below staff:- Khalid “Duty manager’ Omar “Receptionist” And apparently Nasir Ali is “Operation manager. Attn: Nasir Ali “Operation manager. You need to give them a proper course to the staff as it’s a 4 star hotel.
4,3 Okay
Cons: They insisted that I pay for my stay. Though I shared with them my confirmation form Hotels.com via Kayak I had to spark with the manger to get the to understand that my stay is already prepaid. Rooms are not nice the smell is musty and feels and sanitary.

Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff
6,7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: 1- The Checkout process was lengthy.. No dedicated person for it.. 2- The room glass was not clean 3- Special room preparation was not available (birthday).
4,6 Okay
Cons: When we reached the property the receptionists told us that they canceled our reservation without notifying us due to claims that were not true. Even when showing them our reservation details they insisted that we do no longer have a booking and there were no rooms left which was an unacceptable act from the property. After filing complaints and waiting for over 45 min they claimed that they will bring back our reservation and accommodate us with not even offering any compensation. A lousy compensation was then offered after I insisted and called booking.com. We are frequent customer’s to this property but this will be the last time due to lack of professionalism and lack of knowledge from the administration. We did not even get an apology for the inconvenience. Other comments: The bathrooms need renovation, mold is covering the silicone and you will notice the smell.

Pros: The guy at the reception, Mussab is funny and nice. The wedding hall is very beautiful and highly equipped to host gorgeous weddings. The staff is actually nice. The pillows and covers smell nice.
Cons: Despite the fact that the staff was nice, they obviously lack basic hospitality skills. They aren’t professional and they need more training. The guys at the reception are very nice but they need more training. My bathroom was so disgusting. I found spots on the toilet seat and I had to clean it myself. The shower didn’t have hot water. The toilet was dripping all the time and it was broken. The bathroom smelled so horrible, I had to close the door just so I can sleep. Their food is so horrible and they had no vegetarian/vegan options. I ordered some rice and salads, which gave me food poisoning. The next day in the breakfast buffet, I saw the chef sneezing in the food! It was horrific!

Pros: Swimming pool was not convenient for little kids: Size , depth and the water temperature was too low during this time . We were not able to check in on time , delayed even we arrived ahead of time . We received a letter requesting us to check out at 12:00 pm Max 1300 while our booking was stating clearly the check out time is 14:00 hrs.. Safety issue was observed at the provided restaurant chairs , internal niles were very harmful at each corner if pressed against it would cause severe harm to users. The staff were notified.
Cons: The breakfast was perfect and the staff were very helpful.
7,9 Good
Cons: Poor service reception and the bathrooms are not clean.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Dirty furniture, old not clean, not worth the money
4,6 Okay
Pros: The one thing they have going on for them is location. Everything else including cleanliness and staff is sub bar.
Cons: It was a horrible experience. With a 5-star resort the lottery game should not be there. You might get a great room or a bad one. I had a room with blood stains in the sheets. That’s is not what you want. Especially, after being pushed by the receptionist to upgrade your reservation. Adding salt to wound, their response to my complaints was lacking. The manager did not respond at all. So, I was forced to meet with his assistant who only had his apologies to offer. Bottom line is: spend your $600+ some where else, where they appreciate and value your experience.

It's easy to indulge when you stay at the Holiday Inn Al Salam; thanks to our luxury Health Club with Jacuzzi, sauna, authentic massage and steam bath and the Al Roshan restaurant where you can dine on local Saudi dishes like saffron-infused lamb ouzi as well as international cuisine.

Pros: The Makarem Alnakheel village location is great especially its private open beach . Kids and family loved it. The villa we took located in a very beautiful area . The receptionist were all very welcoming and smiling and very very helpful and they even upgraded our stay from a flat to a villa (with no extra pay) as my father is a wheelchair bound and cant climb the flat stairs. So considerate. The breakfast was outstanding
Cons: The rooms bedding and over all cleanliness was not to the place standard. The price i paid was too much (i understand its school holiday timing but it was a bit exaggerated). Thats all

Pros: overall , the garden is beautiful especially at this time of the year . the marina is nice too but small good for families with kids cuz it has alot of kids playgrounds and activities.
Cons: there has been a mistake and my twin room was given to someone esle so they upgraded me with a 2 bedroom apartment . which was nice , clean and spacious. the furniture is clean but old and some are broken . bathroom is fine and clean though some of the taps were not working well . you need to bring your bathrobe and towels . i asked them to bring me some towels and they nicely did . they dont provide drinking water in the apartments so bring yours as well . i tried al aresha restaurant for lunch which was below average.
