Loved the beds, layout of room, amenities, prompt daily room clean, pool, views, staff exceptional.
Beachfront rooms unobstructed views of ocean are gorgeous however the strip is noisy and rooms aren't sound proofed so traffic an issue for us at night.
The room was nice, comfy bed and good size.
Customer service is bad, extremely noisy (no soundproofing) and loud music - brace yourself if there’s a wedding. A bunch of additional fees that should’ve be included at reservation so there’s no surprise. Mandatory resort fee, although there’s absolutely no “resort”. Pool area is super small for the size of the hotel and difficult to get a spot, we were there for 5 nights and didn’t use any area of the hotel other than the room. The area is also a negative for us, super touristic full of people, beach isn’t nearly as nice as others in Oahu. I wouldn’t (won’t) stay there again.
Lovely staff they have all been fantastic this includes restaurant runners, cleaners, reception, concierge, everyone. Modern decor is refreshing
Deafening sound system at the pool on day of arrival, our hearts sank but not for long.
Cleaning- glass sliding door was not clean when we arrived. I requested for it to be cleaned and it wasn’t.
Excellent facilities and location. Staff and food were great.
Bathroom was a small
‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach is a coveted locale to stay at. The venue has been listed as one of the best resorts in Hawaii, as well as having some of the most stunning views in the world. While guests are able to explore the surrounding areas, there is plenty to do and enjoy on the ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach without ever leaving it.
Named after the last reigning monarch of Hawaii, Queen Liliuokalani, the resort is designed with a modern look that conveys tranquility. Rockwell Group, an award-winning design firm, took charge in designing every luxurious aspect. Upon entering the open-air lobby, there is a 280,000-gallon Oceanarium that is not only unique but incredibly memorable.

Dining at the resort is a treat, as well. Guests can start the day at Lychee, where there is a breakfast buffet made from locally sourced ingredients. For lunch, Momosan Waikiki offers tasty ramen and a beer garden. O-Bar is great for meeting friends, colleagues, and family for an afternoon snack or drink. In the evening, Morimoto Asian Waikiki by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto is a must-try. Then for even more nightlife, Swell bar is ideal for mingling and enjoying live music.
