Hoi An hotels near Song Hoai Square

Pros: The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool is immaculate, shady and perfect for spending an afternoon drinking cocktails and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and well worth including because there are plenty of options and its good value for money. The location was superb - quiet and peaceful but 5 minutes walk from the action of old town.

Cons: We had difficulty with our airport pickup. The hotel quote was terribly expensive so we declined it but the hotel did not respond to my emails and fb message and still sent a driver who we didn't use. It was an awkward start but everything was perfect after that.

Pros: Breakfast excellent as was the rest of the service in general. But for me the stand out was the staff, especially at the difficult time the world faces. They really go over and above. Everything else is 5* plus!

Cons: I cannot fault anything. Even if I was being difficult. Just nothing even remotely negative to say.

Pros: The hotel is very pretty with great location!

Pros: The staff were very indulging, particularly with going off piste for dining. We were able to order bespoke dishes individually tailored to our dietary needs.

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Beautiful buildings and rooms. Short walk from all the action and the food in that area is amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer! There’s three bars at the hotel with three rolling happy hours so you can drink 2 for 1 cocktails from 3pm to 7pm if you want to and they are very well made.

Cons: The only flaw I could pick is that sometimes the housekeeping forget to knock before entering, but it’s no big deal and all the staff are really nice, friendly and helpful.

Pros: Breakfast was reasonable, quite good selection and tasty.Location wasn’t far from the night markets and pedestrianised area and the staff were very nice.

Cons: The colour scheme and feel of the room was a bit dated and felt quite basic. The pool was nice, but isn’t well positioned for sunshine (blocked in the morning and mid afternoon) + is right by a busy road. The gym/fitness centre was appalling with only 3 machines, of which 2 didn’t work. Laundry services were extortionate - they were charging 50k Dong for one shirt; we found a service with Hoi An Laundry which was 25k for 1kg (they also pick up and drop off your laundry at the hotel), so would recommend them.

Pros: Staff were incredible! Location just perfect! Central but outside of the noise of old town.

Pros: The location was fantastic, near to lots of spas and eateries especially the Bang Mi Queen. It was 10 min to the old town but the best part is the wonderful staff who are ever willing to help you and make you feel welcome!

Pros: Excellent location, walking distance to the old town of Hoi An and loads of bars, restaurants and shops. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

Cons: More bottled water could be provided in the rooms

Pros: We lived our experience at EMM. Really fabulous staff, amenities and we took advantage of the half price cocktails that were delicious. I would definitely recommend this accomodation. And would stay there on my next trip to Hoi An. Loved it!

Pros: It is so close to the old town. Easy five-minute walk there.

Cons: When we checked out, we were waiting in the lounge. As the wait was long, I fell asleep and the lady came to wake me up. There is a rule that I'm not allowed to fall asleep when NO OTHER GUEST was coming in for check-in. What a disgrace to come up with such simple-minded rules. Makes the ending of the stay so bitter.

Pros: The price was very reasonable, with buffet breakfast included. Happy hour at the bar from 2-5 with 50% off beer and cocktails. Staff were really friendly and the hotel was only located an 8 minute walk from the old town. But the location still had decent restaurants and massage parlors within a very close distance. Two supermarkets were right next to the hotel.

Cons: The smallest thing, but we were on the top floor and there was a constant banging coming from within the roof, likely from an air conditioning unit or something because it would occasionally turn off. This was a minor thing and we didn’t raise with the hotel.

Pros: Toplocation by the riverside.. away from the crowds and noise and tourists ;-).. but yet very close to the old center. Walking distance or take the free boat shuttle

Cons: Staff was a bit below level, especially during evenings or nighttime at the bar or restaurant. Reception was good, the ‘captain’ of the boat was super friendly and nice!

Pros: Nice place, friendly and supportive Staff, beautiful garden, fantastic river view and surroundings. Nice surprise with daily food testing, live music and option for river sunset trip. Walking distance to the center. Recommended for families with kids.

Cons: Our room was bit dark and due to Hoi Ann humidity we could have smell mold (trully understand humidity and river just nearby)

Cons: A rooms by the pool a bit noisy if you wanted an afternoon siesta.

Pros: Superb location away from the crowds and not far to walk into the old town..Riverside bungalow well worth the extra..own very large sunbeds on a large patio overlooking the river..also a patio overlookingt the pool...Beautiful well kept gardens.

Cons: Occasional very loud music from across the river...noisy boats from 2 to 5pm.

Pros: This hotel resisdence at the riverside is superb. Staff is pleasant and helpful, swimming pool is clean, breakfast is excellent and a diner too. We had a Deluxe Double Room with River View complete with a small terrace and comfortable lounger. Every thing would have been perfect except for the noise.

Cons: The noise of the tourist boats going up and down the river and very near from the shore (outside marked channel, who cares!). Extremely annoying between 3 and 5 PM. I had to used earplugs when I was at the pool! Outside these hours it is not too disturbing and the nights are quiet. I thing the management should have a word with the authorities to have the boat motoring father to the center of the river (it is very large) and/or introduce a noise level regulation (that would help the local workers). Their motors seem to be without exhaust pipe nor silencer. Deafening !

Pros: Super close to town but very quiet and secluded at the same time. Staff are really friendly, cant do enough for you. Rooms pretty good and spacious. Just been updated. Had a room close to pool was awesome. Definitely would stay again and is great place to stay for long or short stay.

Cons: New showers were bit hard to use but thats not much to complain about to be honest.

Pros: Well located on the river front and a very good hotel for accommodation and their breakfast was good. Restaurant is riverfront. Their afternoon was very delicious local food and live music. Complimentary Boat across the river.

Pros: Convenient area and relatively stylish rooms (love the knitted mosquito net) with nice view, helpful staff to arrange pickup or tours. Very good value for money.

Cons: Limited hot water supply, breakfast not brilliant (few options), plumbery would deserved some repairs (quite some leaks).

Pros: We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we can say that it was a great stay. The staff was excellent: so much nice and helpful. The room was also great, with two comfy beds and a complete bathroom with bath. The breakfast was also good, letting you to choose between many options. We specially liked that the last day she even prepared the breakfast 30 minuts before for us, so that we didn't skip the breakfast. It was so much kind.

Cons: On the pictures this hotel looked nice and had a swimming pool. It has a good location, quiet and near the old city. In reality it was horrible. The rooms had mold smell, they we’re not clean at all. Our first night the airco failed to work, there weren’t any windows to open, sleeping in a sauna with ne fresh air. The light in the bathroom didn’t work. We got another room with a balcony but that smelled also very bad. At least we could open a window. Breakfast was very poor.. there were even ants in our drinks. And the overview from the pool and balcony to the paddy rice fields in the back of the hotel, in reality there are no paddy rice fields.. just rubbish, construction material, and a concrete wall. The staff (only 2 persons) was friendly and helpfull and did what they can in a hotel in total deterioration. I would only come back for a night if they gave me 10000€. Do not go there unless you have to sleep on the street.

Pros: Lovely fruit platter at breakfast . Staff extremely helpful when we needed to change flights due to a bereavement

Pros: Ms Anh and her team were fantastic. Really made you feel welcome. Arranged bikes for us and were always looking to be of assistance with a smile. Breakfast was great. Thanks and would come again!

Pros: The hotel is the perfect location for a visit to Hoi An. We wanted to be close to old town and bars and restaurants but not have the noise or transportation limitations you have in old city. Almost on the water you can walk back and forth and enjoy both sides of the river with ease. The night market is down the road. There was a breakfast with a lot of variety that we enjoyed. The room was clean and simple - which is all we needed as we were barely inside. The hotel arranged our pick up and transportation to the hotel and made it very easy for us. Hoi An is an amazing place to visit and this hotel helped make the experience a lovely one.

Pros: Relatively inexpensive, pleasant staff, good size room which was generally comfortable. Really fantastic location for the old town. Lots of options at the inclusive breakfast. Nice pool area with sun loungers.

Cons: Our room was overlooking a building site, it was the weekend so the site was mostly quiet, but our second morning it burst into life, we stayed in Hoi An but changed hotels which says a lot. The room was comfortable, but a little dated and the bathroom was showing quite a lot of wear. There was a lot of dust throughout the public areas of the hotel from the building site and intermittent noise disturbed the peace around the pleasant pool area. All in all it just didn't quite match up with what we saw online, for us.

Pros: The location was perfect for accessing Old Town, night markets, sightseeing

Pros: We were unable to meet our book due to being held up because of the coronavirus and the hotel did not charge us a cent. Very lovely hotel for doing this would love to go back and try this hotel out

Pros: Nice location near old town, spacious bedroom, comfortable bed. The traditional body massage was really good.

Cons: The breakfast could be better

Pros: Although I was the only guest, as a result of the Covid-2019 scare, they kept the hotel open for me and provided me with the same level of service as if it had been fully operational. The management was also extremely understanding when some of my bookings had to be cancelled because of Cosvid-19 and generously waived the cancellation fee.

Pros: Hard to find anything to complain when you are graciously upgraded! Great interaction with front desk staff.
