Pros: I had also stayed recently at the Holiday Inn up the Rd ( about a mile away ) the previous night and the stark contrast between the two hotels was obvious. I stayed in an upgraded room in the Holiday inn ( yes a suite sort of ) that was fabulous in every way . AND IT WAS $65 cheaper than the room I had at the Hampton Inn. Everything was just about the basics at the Hampton Inn and I mean the basics, very disappointing and to be charged more money than a suite at a competitor was the ultimate insult.

Pros: Staff friendly literally took 1 min to check in. Breakfast was awesome lots of choices. Room extremely clean. Will go again when in the area every couple of months.
7,1 Good
Pros: The beds were comfy
Cons: They need more staff in the morning for breakfast. They were literally people being rude to the woman restocking breakfast there was no place to sit. The tables were dirty, food was not coming out fast enough. I felt bad for the poor woman but when I got down to feed my children there was no food left Our Room was a little musty.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: mainly that it was clean and comfy. check in was easy. the location was great for my purpose. was easy to add on another day.
Cons: the dryer was a little noisy. I heard it from my room. but after a little while it became background noise and I didn't notice it anymore. didn't effect my sleep or tv watching or my reading.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the staff from front desk to housekeeping & groundskeepers are incredibly polite and personable. They are almost like family. also the mattress and pillows are fantastic. i look forward to sleeping!
Cons: no complaints whatsoever
5,8 Okay
Pros: But the breakfast was a game changer. Good coffee, a pancake making station with nutella (hell yes!), and Silk drink products :)
Cons: Our room was not cleaned well; spill spots on the furniture, old rug, and crushed pretzels along side the bed frame that did not get vacuumed. So gross.
7,9 Good
Cons: access to shower was very ackward…

Pros: Staff recommended me best restaurant of neighborhood, and they were really nice. Room is spacious enough. Bath room is clean. Breakfast is good.
Cons: None
6,3 Good
Pros: The woman working at the front desk was very symptathetic about the incident below. She was understanding and provided me with some pruell to try to cleanse my belongings. I appreciated her and her understanding of my disgust.
Cons: When I returned the first day after my room was "cleaned" My personal possessions were moved and placed on the area for the luggage to be placed. that was disgusting since even my luggage had been on streets, airlines and trains. It is far from clean. my towels and soap were not replaced even though I had not been given an option for that.

Cons: It was hard for what I said to find vegan options for breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was very impressed with everything in this hotel, very pleasant, quiet and local. I cannot wait to come back again
Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good variety at breakfast each morning. Staff was very nice, but we did hear the manager use a few obscenities when speaking to kitchen staff (in the kitchen), but only this morning. The room sizes were great. All Front Desl staff eager and happy to help in any way.
Cons: The hide-a-bed mattress. Just terrible quality; and the couches (we had family members staying in a few different rooms) were very low to the ground in every room. A chair broke, we asked for a replacement, and it never came. Also, we NEVER had housekeeping come clean our room. No one showed up on Thanksgiving; my husband accidentally cancelled the lady that came to clean on Friday. He quickly called back when he realized his mistake, and we were told someone would come clean it, and they did not show. We had overflowing trash, dirty dishes in sink (we were told that dish soap would be delivered, but it never came) and a large amount of dirty towels at check out, and I felt bad for the staff that would have to do so much extra work.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean rooms.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: the heat was a bit noisy. other than that I was extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a great place, thoroughly thought about everything one might need. The layout of kitchen, living and sleeping space is wonderful. They also have a very nice outside area for grilling or just chilling for the guests use. TV carries HBO.
Cons: Can't say I didn't.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Billiards
Cons: Breakfast - it would be nice to real fresh local bagels for breakfast. It is NY. Thanks!
6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was nice
Cons: The toilet in my room was clogged before I even used it. The hot tub in the pool area was broken. I called desk and was told “thank you for letting us know” then I was hung up on. Another guest said it was broken since the day before. Very disappointed. Was really looking forward to that.
5,8 Okay
Pros: I like staying at the Marriott chain.
Cons: There were no sheets for sofa bed. Cable box fell off the top of TV while we were out of room. Looked like it was attached with command strips. Breakfast was not good. The smell of the construction that was taking place was incredibly strong. Was concerned about driving over a nails in parking lot because of the way the dumpster was and things around it.
6,5 Good
Pros: I did not eat breakfast.
Cons: I was charged twice, I voiced my concerns to the lady who checked me out, and her response was she is going to call the cops and I should not come back and stay there.
7,5 Good
Pros: Everthing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I loved how spacious the room was. I also liked the tea tree products in the shower. The breakfast was also fantastic.
Cons: One of the women that was working the front desk wasn’t that friendly.

7,0 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the breakfast was great.
Cons: The entire place was a little no frills. Not much to it just got to your room or go out. Nothing to do at hotel.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The rooms were kind of dark and musty, the linens were kind of gross... maybe old? They definitely did not have a clean crisp feel to them...more like the linens your friend would give you to stay on his couch... your middle-aged habitually single friend...
Cons: Better lit rooms and linens that weren’t from the 1970’s...
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: Noise from the hall was very loud
6,7 Good
Pros: The location of this hotel is quite beautiful. Tucked in next to a creek/river, beautiful trees, and the exterior of the building itself is really nice. The desk staff was helpful and efficient, but when we asked for extra towels we were told by a housekeeper there were none. The room itself was clean, but very dark and somewhat dated. The breakfast was also disappointing. Overall, this hotel in this location has tremendous potential, but could do with some updating and significantly more care and attention to the breakfast buffet.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location Quiet Nice fee
Cons: No pool Poor breakfast on plastics

Pros: Housekeeping very nice as well as the day person at front desk. View on the veranda was lively
9,6 Excellent

7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast buffet had something for everyone.
Cons: We booked specifically for free breakfast and happy hour. Unfortunately, the happy hour didn’t happen.we had booked in advance and were not aware that the happy hour was not offered. Another issue - we had our own happy hour in the lounge area with the sun shining in. The wall of windows were extremely dirty, cobwebs even. Someone should take care of this issue.

Pros: Best Western Plus The Inn & Suites At The Falls in Poughkeepsie, NY located in a beautiful place with a lot of trees and the wonderful view of the small river or brook. The hotel is very clean and the staff provide the excellent service.
6,3 Good
Pros: The staff was willing to correct problems quickly and to my satisfaction. Close to my brother’s house.
Cons: The first room I was given the air conditioner didn’t work. They gave me a second room and it had underwear hanging on back of the bathroom door. I was upgraded to a suite. It was clean and the ac worked.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It's a good location for where I have to go in Poughkeepsie
Cons: It's not clean. My bathroom toilet still had urine spots when I checked in. The overall facility can be kept much, much cleaner.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Nice included breakfast but times were limited.
Cons: The hotel is so outdated and run down. Things kept falling apart. The toilet roll broke, the phones were out of service. Even the main area and lobby were very shabby looking. It certainly needs an update.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the room was clean.
Cons: I had no idea that I would pull up with no staff or security at the door in an area that had both prostitutes and vagrants across the street. I was afraid to leave the car with the kids. The staff in the common areas and in the dining room acted like you were bothering them by asking simple questions such as how to get to breakfast and do you have plain bagels. There were no plates at the buffet for more than 15 minutes. The coffee station was filthy and had more dirty cups than clean ones.

Pros: Need to improve on the breakfast
Cons: The breakfast
5,4 Okay
Pros: Did not utilize the breakfast option. Look very basic.
Cons: Staff was not very friendly. Had to request extra towels and pillows as we had 4 people and only had enough for two. Had to request extra toilet paper and Kleenex.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great shower, clean and comfortable rooms, location and friendly staff all contributed to a very nice few days away.
Cons: Its more of an overnight motel vs. a place to lounge and socialize. It has no pool nor cocktail lounge however, for our needs it worked. Thanks

Pros: The front desk clerk was very pleasant.
Cons: It was dirty. The stairs were filthy. The room had clearly not been vacuumed. The entire place had a bad, stale, sour odor. There were some very sketchy people staying there. Noisy. Would have left, but no rooms available elsewhere
4,6 Okay
Pros: The people checking us in was fine. We were very tired from traveling all day.
Cons: The rooms were very noisy. We had the lower level and the people above us kept us awake until 3AM and then awoke us again at 5:30 AM. The vinyl flooring was fine but the carpets at bedside looked uninviting and worn. There was little hot water for showers as well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was very clean. The very large king was comfortable and although the sheets weren’t starched they looked clean and freshly laundered. The water pressure and hot water in the shower was divine. Breakfast was simply toast or cereal but it was all we required. We would stay again.
Cons: Nothing really
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: the room is big and decent
Cons: where do i start... 1. the first room we checked in had 2 big crickets on the bathroom floor. we switched to another room which also has a cricket in the bathroom. the receptionist told us there are crickets in every room in this area which im not sure about and also she was being very difficult when we asked to switch the room. all we asked was just to get a new room, she said wow you are scared of little crickets? where are you from? like srsly you are scared of those things? just kill them. fine heres your new room. if you come back to get a new room again i'll kick you out etc. um hello i just wanted a CLEAN room that i PAID for. 2. there's a big nail/stick sticking out under the bed i think in the bed frame. i tripped over it and still have a big lump in my ankle. i had to put a pillow on the floor in front of the bed to cover it. 3. the AC smells really weird.. we had to turn it off and open the window to let the smell out. but then we couldnt keep it for long bc "crickets are everywhere" in summary i would never stay at another red roof inn plus ever again and i'll let my friends know this too. it was a very unpleasant experience.

Cons: The room smelt terrible sheets were dirty pool room was freezing air conditioner and heat wouldn’t stay on loud parting outside our room the whole feel was dirty
7,1 Good
Pros: The location was great for us. The staff were a little Unfriendly on arrival but did answer questions on us ordering take out to the hotel and helped when the vending machines didn’t work. The pool was a good addition but the fitness centre was a bit too basic.
Cons: We had a room inside and it must have been next to some generators as it was very noisy throughout the night. The breakfast was ok.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location to train station.
Cons: Bathroom very small.
7,1 Good
Cons: The first two rooms we were assigned were not ready for occupancy and already occupied. We were upgraded, which was appreciated, but would rather have not had that experience.
7,0 Good
Pros: It's a Days Inn. It was fine.
Cons: Requested a non-smoking room. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. Didn't really bother me too much, but it's not what I requested.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, included all of the basic amenities I could expect. Generally good experience. Great value.
Cons: I was fine, but my coworker had to deal with a smoking room, which has been a recurring issue. If it makes sense, I would like to see more non-smoking rooms.
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: Smelled like urine in the room. asked for more pillows as we had 4 occupants in the room and two pillows. We were told they would bring some up that never happened. Check in was very unpleasant. The inappropriate language used by both individuals was not professional at all. The women seemed to be training a gentleman not very well either. I was never told anything about the hotel, I even had to ask how to get to the room as they weren’t going to offer directions like most places do.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The room itself seemed well cleaned and maintained. It looked as if though it was updated from the typical low end Days Inn. the pool was decent and heated.
Cons: From the pictures online I expected it to be a single building and the exterior areas could use some updating. This is in regards to the stairs, the outside walkways, and the driving and parking areas. The only photo that was available through the website I went through was the front entrance which was quite deceiving to what I had expected. I was excited for the breakfast and was severely disappointed. The waffles didn't cook properly and the eggs were so bad that I had to throw them away after one bite.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Everything about our room and stay was fine. I wasn’t looking for anything special. The room was fine. A little tight but fine. Just fine
Cons: The first interaction I had was with the man behind the desk when I checked in immediately telling me that there was a problem with my reservation and they had to put me in a “business class” room instead... AT EXTRA COST TO ME. I was furious. I didn’t express it because I was more upset and at my wits end because of why I needed a room in the first place, but to hear that the hotel made a mistake and it was going to cost me money was the most absurd thing ever. If this is a sales tactic employed by the clerk, he should be reprimanded. If this is a tactic of the hotel, SHAME on you. The breakfast was also disappointing. Bruised fruit, blah selections.

Cons: The place seem old. Stayed with my 11year old son and he was not happy with room. I guess tou get what you paid for.
6,5 Good
Pros: Very convenient location to Poughkeepsie and the Walkway over the Hudson bridge. Despite being on Rt 9 the rooms were quiet. Continental breakfast was bagels/cream cheese, donuts, coffee.
Cons: Only one window in rooms, got a bit stuffy overnight. Across the street and in the mall next door are reasonably priced eateries. And the CIA restaurants are less that 1/2 hour up Rt 9.

Pros: The price.
Cons: Everything else.
6,0 Good
Pros: I liked how close it was to a gas station, since I had to buy beer a few times in the middle of the night. The breakfast was minimal but suitable. The mattresses were stained but the sheets were clean! Plenty of parking, lots of rooms available.
Cons: Everything in the rooms was long overdue for an upgrade and our room didn't have an iron. It was clean but smelled dusty.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: The front desk guy was friendly
Cons: The place was filthy. I refused to stay. It was so bad I didn't care about my loss of money. I couldn't get out there quick enough.

Pros: Location. Water for shower hot.
Cons: Very old and worn - needs improvement. Noisy neighbors. Breakfast is coffee, tea, bagels or white powdered donuts.
