Pros:Staff was professionalCons:During the booking there was NO mention of the $200 security deposit. Because I was unprepared for this I was unable to even rent the car and missed my chance to both see my family and visit my grandfather's grave.Reviewed Nov 28 2020

Pros:Staff was welcoming even though I arrived last minute with my drop off and offered me a ride nearby if I needed one which was great.Cons:Maybe offer road side assistance which I realized I didn't have with my insurance party I purchased with my rental after the factReviewed Jun 27 2019

DisappointingCons:Reserved a minivan a week ahead of time but they didn’t have one available when I came. I had to wait 35 minutes for an alternate car, which was dirty and did not have a full tank of gas.Reviewed Aug 17 2018

Mediocare ExperiencePros:Ease at which to rent and drop-off car.Cons:The car was not cleaned out completely. Found food in the car from previous renter. I was told I would receive a credit for returning the car a day early from the staff at Hertz, but when I received the final bill TWO weeks later...there was no credit. I called customer service and they told me I wouldn't get a credit. I wish Hertz would stand by what I was originally told, don't just tell me something and pass the blame on their staff. I also had to fill the tires up the entire time I had the car...because slow leaks. I understand that things happen, but stand by your word and accept responsibility do whats right. I will probably rent somewhere else in the future, unless things are made right.Reviewed Jul 21 2018

Mostly great rentalPros:Essentially a brand new Ford Escape with most of the gingerbread.Cons:When we had to exchange the car in Colorado due to a flat tire, the workers had asked if we had the form acknowledging the cracked windshield. There had been no form filled out at pickup and nothing put in the system, so the workers had to call original pickup location to verify cracked windshield.Reviewed May 24 2018

Pros:Courteous Staff.Cons:Scheduled pickup at 9am. Car ready at 9:20am. No wiper on the rear window. Hood of Nissan Rogue vibrated in a strong wind. Prepaid for pickup on 5 May @ 9am, return 15 May @ 9am. Returned the car early on 14 May @ 9am. Facility closed. Did not get credit for returning early. This is a TOTAL BS policy. "We are closed on Sunday, so we don't know if you really returned it then." I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERTZ AGAIN!!!!!!Reviewed May 16 2017
