Pick up was easy tho they really pushed additional insurance that I had already purchased. Car was nice a BMW X1. They didn’t advise on how the GPS worked. Subject: Complaint Regarding Incorrect Cancellation Fee Deduction Dear Customer Service Team, I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my reservation cancellation. I cancelled my reservation within the allowed cancellation period and according to the stated cancellation policy, which clearly indicated that the cancellation was free. My cancellation was made three days before the scheduled pickup date, which should have qualified for a free cancellation. However, I was charged a penalty and USD 100 was deducted from my account. This charge is not consistent with the cancellation terms provided at the time of booking. I kindly request that you review this matter immediately and refund the incorrectly deducted USD 100. There was no one there when we went to pick up the car, it was the only car rental place with no one present. And there were no signs or numbers to call. Other car rental companies said this happens all the time with the Hertz at this location.Reviewed Jun 12 2026
