Bad customer service from HertzPros:Car was cleanCons:I added a day and the price went up by a third. When I then tried to change it back, the price was $50 higher for the same time period and they wouldn't honor the original rate. I wanted to cancel but the cancellation charge was also $50, so I felt stuck. Then the car I got was not I would say the same type as promised. Finally, when I dropped it off at some point a rock had hit the windshield, through no fault of my own as they recognized, but I still had to pay for that- on top of the car being more expensive than what I had originally signed up for, the value ended up being pretty terrible. Pros:Pick-up was easy and convenient and the man we worked with (I think he was the manager) was very friendly and helpful. He made this an overall great experience.Cons:On the day of drop-off we worked with a man who wasn't very friendly. He made us feel more like an inconvenience to him than a customer who deserved good care. We understood that it was the end of the day, and that they were busy, but we felt that his attitude and customer service was below what's expected in the industry. Despite that, we'd still recommend this Hertz, because we had such a positive experience with the other representatives.Reviewed May 7 2017

Everything was good except pickup.Pros:Dropoff was fast and nice. Car was small and comfortable.Cons:Pickup was with problems, because KAYAK approved the pickup time - 6 pm, but the Hertz office was already closed at this time, so we were compelled to pickup our car on the next day morning. It was sad... Check the open hours of offices before reservation.Reviewed Apr 28 2017
