Pros:Very nice staff. When I landed it was fast and perfect. I was nervous using a keyless fob on the edge I rented but the fellow at the desk... it was his third week and he was a delight! Said don’t worry! I can walk out and give you a quick lesson if you feel uncomfortable. No need for extra help and his instructions were clear and helpful. Will rent again in Appleton for our sons wedding in February 2020. Thanks very muchReviewed Oct 22 2019

Pros:Staff was great, pickup and drop off was easy, car was fine except some gum and contact lense cases in the middle of the front seats on the floor.Cons:Know what type of insurance your credit cards have, what you bought online from priceline or wherever, and make sure that they don't overlap your coverage at the front counter. Very nice people to deal withCons:I ended up paying almost three times what I expected to after viewing the website. Pros:Car drove OKCons:Did not have my car at time of appointment, said it would be about an hour. Waited 35 minutes for car to show. They did not bring my car, so I was told it would be about another hour, after the 35 minute wait. Had to take an SUV which I did not want due to poor gas mileage. Pros:it was a nice vehicle ,good gas mileageCons:It was smaller as far as storage room . It wasn't real comfortable for the distance we went. the car we were supposed to have needed an oil change when we got there to pick it up. I had to wait for them to gas up and clean a different vehicle due to all other vehicles avail also needed oil change.Reviewed Oct 4 2018

Terrible Service, Great CarPros:The car was great for a long road trip (Sonata hybrid). We will rent this vehicle again, but probably not from Hertz.Cons:The staff at this location were completely incompetent. They must have little business because when we walked in they seemed annoyed that they had to work. We reserved a car ahead of time and arrived a bit early. They didn’t have any vehicles when we checked in and told us that they MAY have a car at our scheduled time. Our options: we could wait or we could get a car in Appleton, since that’s where the car would come from anyway. We wanted to hit the road so we drove to Appleton to pick up a vehicle. Once we arrived, the person there was so rude and told us that we couldn’t pick up a vehicle because we prepaid. Nobody told us this information until this point so we wasted time and gas. So, we returned to Oshkosh and a few hours later they had a vehicle for us.Reviewed May 31 2018
