Cons:The credit card that I used to book was recently stolen. Hertz wouldn’t allow me to charge the $200 security payment on a different card and made me cancel this car… and make a new reservation with them which was double the price! There was a total lack of respect for the situation.Reviewed Aug 23 2019

charging my credit card for a car i didnt rentCons:made a reservation for the fourth when I got the confirmation it said the 5th so I called them right away within 5 min . they didn't have a car for me so I cancelled she told me I would not be charged then I received a email they charged me 33.13 for something I never rented and was there fault. Quick and EasyPros:I called Hertz at 5:40 because I was running late. . I had to be there 5 minutes before closing. Chelsea was nice enough to have started the paperwork so the whole checkout took 5 minutes. Awesome!Reviewed Jul 3 2018

Last Minute Cancellation of My ReservationCons:I received a phone call 2 hours before I was to pick up my rental car cancelling my reservation because she was out sick and the reservation system "is run by corporate and does not know what our availability is". I was forced to rent a car with another company at twice the price because of the last minute reservation. I will never use Hertz or Kayak again.Reviewed Mar 13 2018

Dirty, RudePros:The second employee I worked with was courteous & helped me change my drop off locationCons:The first employee was rude, wouldn’t believe that I already made a deposit (I had to call orbitz & have them tell her I was telling the truth). She tried to make a new reservation where I’d have lost my deposit but I caught her and told her no. She was very unprofessional and argumentative. DisappointedCons:They could’ve called me a day earlier to tell me that I wasn’t able to get the rental for that weekend instead she waited until the morning of that day to let me know that I’m not able to get it. I panicked for a sec because my group was already all set and ready for the trip that weekend. I called Enterprise in Chico instead and they’re the MVP! Worked everything out and I was able to get a rental last minute.Reviewed Jan 17 2018

Cons:when I arrived at the pick up location nobody was in the office. when she did finally arrive I was told no cars were available. as this was a pre-paid reservation and I had not been notified I was surprised. the woman working the counter was extremely rude. thankfully enterprise was able to fill my needs, and with no rude, disrespectful employees. next time I will use enterprise for sure.Reviewed Oct 14 2017

Most likely will not rent here againPros:CleanlinessCons:Charges a $200 deposit that is taken out right away. I did not know about this until pick up. I reserved a car that would fit 5 people comfortably but when I came to pick up they said they had a Ford focus but could give me bigger car for $20 more a day.
