Kayak or Hertz messed up my reservation. Took an Uber to the Hertz facility in single digit temperatures and was informed there were no cars available. Stranded and ended up walking to Enterprise (this was not an airport rental center. Paid for services I did not receive. Dissatisfied is an understatement. Pros:courteous staffCons:called for emergency help and got disconnected 3x after over an hour on hold. needed to replace the car after a 10 hour ordeal with my wife and I in a tow truck in the opposite direction of our destination taking away 10 hours from my business trip. all due to a faulty steering column that no tech support person could fix. UGH!!! awful and I am 60 years old and this never happened before in leasing cars since I was 25.Reviewed Mar 19 2021

Pros:NothingCons:I reserved a luxury vehicle almost 2 weeks in advance. I followed up with the store multiple times before my arrival to make sure they had something available. I was flying in from Arizona and was renting a car to drive back. The only car they had to offer me was a 4 cyl compact suv. That was not what I reserved. They were rude, unprofessional. Pros:Absolutely nothingCons:Staff was horrible and the cars seatbelt didn't work and they looked at me like I didn't know how to do the seat belt up. Called the manager eventually worked something out but I'll never use Hertz ever again.Reviewed Jul 5 2017

not solutions drivenPros:proximity to homeCons:they don't accept debit and this is how i planned to pay. had been traveling a lot and other cards were maxed out. counter girl didn't offer any solutions to try to put something together. i came up with 3-4 ideas like splitting the rental into a couple transactions so i could split on a couple credit cards, she couldn't make that work. just overall attitude was "we don't take debit and you don't have enough room to fit rental charge PLUS the $200 deposit, so you can't do business with us. She didn't care. I finally suggested renting the compact car for ONE single day on the one way trip. That got the cost low enough for my card to handle. Thanks to my solutions driven attitude or Hertz wouldn't have had this sale.Reviewed Jun 26 2017

no pickup truckCons:We made a reservation Hartz, because Pick up truck (Silverade) was available. Our familiy was in the week of moving, so that we needed pick up truck. However, the guy in the shop told me that we could rent a Explore instead of truck. It was a good car indeed, but did not our purpose completely. The guy told me if he found a truck available, then he would make a phone call, but we did not have any call during that rental period of 1 week.Reviewed Mar 24 2017
