I did not realize I booked it an off site location, vs the airport, which I would of preferred. They would not transfer my reservations. I also returned the vehicle one day earlier (24+ hrs) & I did not get a refund?? Not happy. Sandra SandeesReviewed Nov 9 2022

They did not have a car available - at least 5 other people were in the same situation and the staff at that location simply said there was nothing they could do other than refer me to the costumer service line that did not pick-up the phone.Reviewed Oct 21 2022

I rented a Hertz car at the Nashville airport. The Hertz desk said we won’t give you a car. You have to go 10 minutes away to a hertz facility on the other side of the airport to get your car. This could have been made clear when I rented but it was not. Very unhappy customer here. I have a customerReviewed Oct 17 2022

They pick up and delivery service was easy and friendly. The car was good. I had some trouble with billing that is not been resolved, and apparently will not be resolved, because hurt says too bad. We had a long wait to pick up our car at the airport in Nashville. They only had 1 guy working the desk for 3 desks/different car rental places. The guy really tried to up sell us on our car and when we would ask how much he would say "oh it's cheap" was very vague. Then when we got the bill it was $200 more than we agreed to (in American and we are from Canada so the conversion was awful) The car itself was good, clean, good on gasReviewed Oct 6 2022

Pick up at Briley Rd location was terrible. I had a reservation and had to wait an hour for there to be a car available. The staff was very rude, attempted to make no accommodations to rectify the situation, and made no apologies. I was traveling for business and missed a meeting due to this delay. That said, the staff at the Nashville airport were wonderful and made up for the awful pick up experience by being understanding and allowed us to drop the car off at the airport due to the poor customer service at the other location.Reviewed Sep 26 2022

No car was available upon our arrival - at all! Kayak is a "third party vendor" and Hertz does not guarantee cars booked through third party vendors. FIVE other people came in within 30 minutes and had EXACTLY the same issue. TERRIBLE that Kayak does not post this information in big red letters (yes, I'm sure it is probably in the tiny print - that NO ONE reads). Will not use Kayak or Hertz again. We had no car and could not find a car in Nashville for the five days we were there.Reviewed Sep 24 2022

The ease of service was fantastic. What I like about hertz is yea it is slightly more expensive but you don’t get that last minute pressure to buy the fake inflated insurance at an extra cost we all know is fake.Reviewed Sep 22 2022

Hertz charges you for a flat tire or cracked windshield. I think that is unreasonable. Not sure if other rental agencies are doing this, but it was the first I have heard of it. I think that situations like this should be the cost of them doing business. Also the windshield inside was very smeared making it somewhat difficult to see in bright sunshine.
