I chose the “Special” which is the selection of the rental company. They selected an EV which would not be feasible because I was driving a route without charging stations. They did not want to allow me another option without an additional cost per day. Fortunately, one of the managers was very kind and allowed me to get a vehicle that was good on gas at no extra charge. If I had not waited and asked someone else, I would have been put in a 17 mpg vehicle at $10 more per day. Beware of the “special”.Reviewed Sept 14 2024
