Cons: Oil change & windshield liquid must ready to drive before i rent this car. I purchased liquid bottle and fill it up myself. Oil change required signal have shown me all the time when i drive.
Pros: Car was clean however a year and a half old.
Cons: They take a 200 dollar security deposit which takes 48 hours to clear your card after the car is returned. The building is dirty and in ill repair, security camera dangled by wire in front of building. Nobody at front desk for check in, I had to go to the garage for help.The quoted nine dollars a day insurance bills out to nineteen dollars a day, also be aware of the attached e-z pass, bills out by another company at the highest toll rate plus $4.50 each time its scanned.
Pros: Counter people were friendly and helpful, price was as quoted including taxes and insurance.Car was clean and had a 3/4 tank of gas.
Cons: Car was a dud., don't rent a Nisson Versa! Windows began to fog up with defrosters on. As it got colder window fog turned to ice making it impossible to see, a dangerous situation. When i arrived at my destination i called for a replacement however i had to drive to adjoining states to make the switch. If i had to do it over i would leave the car in the middle of no mans land (Vermont) rent from another vendor and tell them to come on up to get it!
Pros: Customer service was awesome. Had to exchange original vehicle due to minor mechanical issues and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: I was concerned that a walk around inspection was not done at pickup to rule out me being held accountable for any pre existing damages.
Overall a poor experience....will not go back
Pros: The car was very affordable, however this is really the only positive thing I can say about the experience.
Cons: Every car they tried to rent me smelled horribly like smoke and I have allergies, but was stuck at that point. The initial car also was not cleaned when we arrived. The associate told us to return the car by 5:30pm on Saturday, but when w showed up at 3pm it said there hours were until noon. My wife called the hertz number and after a long conversation it was agreed we could leave the car there and would not incur additional cost. Then I received my bill on Monday and 3 extra days were charged to us. My wife called back, got an argumentative associate who told us there was a record that we called on Sat, but that there were no notes as to what was agreed upon. I would not rent again from hertz if they were the last rental car store on the planet, and they were offering free rentals.
Pros: very good rental
Cons: driver door, schrew was loose causing a little noise
