Pros:Staff was helpful and friendly. Car was clean and in excellent condition. Drop off was well-explained and easy.Cons:Perhaps a tutorial on use of radio equipment, AC and other features might be helpful, especially to those of us who don't normally drive and aren't up to speed with all the new bells and whistles that cars have these days.Reviewed Sep 14 2020

Pros:Staff was friendly and accommodating, super helpful and professional, pick up and drop off very easy. Car was basically brand new and very clean. Thank you very much to Dan and Tim for making it quick and easy, ...and driving me home. Small rental store, but Big on customer servicePros:Customer service at this rental agency was excellent, Josh did a great job of answering my questions over the phone and making sure a car was available and ready when I arrived. Local knowledge and history of the area from some of the other employees was helpful and spot on.Cons:There is no parking lot so had to look over my car in the busy street in front of the building.Reviewed Sep 18 2018

Poor quality Hertz Rental Car location.Pros:1.The lady was helpfulCons:1. Phone of Rental location was out of order. 2. pick and drop service mentioned on website was not available. 3. Inspection Sticker of car was expired. I got ticket of 40 US $. 4. I paid all Tolls but after 4 days $ 14.45 was deducted from my credit card as Hertz toll charges. 5. Took a long time to get car. 6. Only one car was available at the time of pick up. I had booked camry but got another car. 7. The fuel tank was not completely full when i took the car.Reviewed Jul 6 2018

Pros:Guy checking me in was very friendlyCons:1. Car was very dirty and had stains on the passenger seat and ceiling 2. When I was picking it up, I had to do an inspection in a dingy garage and the guy who took me in my car acted as though I was being unreasonable for wanting to do a walk-around and checking off every scratch and dent before taking off with the car. Because the lighting was so bad, I didn't see many of the scratches and dents until I parked the car outside, which I hope I am not charged for, since I didn't cause them.Reviewed Oct 24 2017

Pros:1. Nissan quest was comfortable....dirty....but comfortable 2. Phone service activating Travelpass features after we started our rideCons:1. Hertz quality of service is very poor around rentals 2. Hertz-first/customer last policies and procedures....very difficult to have a positive experience...even for loyal members 3. Vans were dirty....first van dominated by cigarette smoke...plus...burnhole in upholestery...required me to drive to different location to pick up second van....then.. . . . 4. Nickle and dime charging (attempting to).... $4 transfer fee after first van unusable....attempt to charge an extra hour upon return since they based the start time on the first van we had to exchange. Overalll, an awful service organization.Reviewed Aug 8 2017

Wonderful Rental Car Experience!Pros:Needed a minivan to pick up my daughter and her belongings at college. I got a brand new Kia Sedona with a few thousand miles, with great gas mileage, cleanly car, all the bells and whistles compatible with my iPhone7. Easy pick up, easy drop off. I will rent again from Hertz in Bernardsville.Reviewed May 19 2017
