Pros: The hotel is beautifully styled and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast was also delicious and the sauna is a nice touch.
Cons: Nothing - was perfect as is.

Pros: Great location just in the centre nad next to central railway station, perfect soundproof window (you don't hear anything from the street), breakfast offers a really good choice, everything in hotel was clean.
Cons: Actually I had early flight on Saturday back to home and breakfast during weekend is open from 7:30 so it was challenging to get my trip in the right schedule. I would suggest to move breakfast to 7:00 during weekend.

Pros: Complimentary umbrellas for the rainy season and free wifi. The wifi in our room was very spotty though. The location is great and in the center of the city. It is literally right next to the bus station and finnair provides a shuttle service for €6 to the city center.
Cons: Shower had tons of mold and also leaked everywhere. The outlets only charge your phone when the lights are on. Overall the room was very small with dreary outdated decor. Breakfast is pricey at €18.00

Pros: I was able to get a harbor view room which was very nice. The location is about a 20 minute walk south of City Centre train & bus station and tram #6 and #9 stop close to the hotel from City Centre. The room is functional, clean and typical for Europe. The hotel is secure, requiring key card access at all time to room hallways and elevators. The breakfast was one of the better ones in my experience. A good selection of cold and hot items. It is more than the usual continental style selection. Breakfast was included in my room rate. The room is a nice size with a nice bathroom set-up.
Cons: Room looked "tired". The carpet was worn, looked dirty and was in obvious need of replacement. The desk chair was not on wheels and was hard to move into a comfortable sitting position at the desk. Some of the staff were not very congenial. They seemed ambivalent and "bothered" when I asked some basic questions.

Pros: Great location. Easy to access the public transport and local highlights, such as museums and shopping.
Cons: The breakfast is good, but it would be lovely to have REAL scrambled eggs. THey serve some sort of egg like product, which is a very strange consistency. The staff were very odd about giving directions. They didn't seem to know how to tell me, "The airport bus stop is ACROSS THE STREET." And they were likewise vague about how to find a nearby ATM; one person told me, "It's a few blocks away in that direction." And the next person, "I think there is one behind the hotel." For travelers, it's kind of important to know this! The restaurant staff is just a little bizarre.

Pros: The Staff (reception and restaurant and cleaning personnel) was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had new menu and the food was delicious. The cake buffet is an excellent idea and good value for money.
Cons: Hot water kettle (and tea and coffee) could be in every room.

Pros: This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is great, since it's a short walk to the city center of Helsinki, and surrounded by great little shops and restaurants. The staff was excellent, super friendly and almost every one (the exception was the cleaning staff) spoke English. The room was stunningly beautiful.
Cons: We did get the room upgrade, and the room was still on the small side for two people. The shower is a little transparent, so heads up if you are traveling with family, it's strange. There was construction going on so it was noisy, but they were very nice about that. Overall great place.

Pros: The location of this hotel was perfectly situated about 10-15 minutes from downtown Helsinki, this was an added bonus, especially for the price. While my room was small, it had an awesome vibe and decor to it that made me feel at ease. The concierges, who spoke great English were always there to give me tips and directions to local hot spots. The overall decor and aesthetic of the hotel was beyond my wildest expectations. This building was so beautiful that I cannot express them in words. The only thing I can say is experience it for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Oh did I mention the sauna and the breakfast buffet were INCREDIBLE.

Pros: This hotel is in a great location, walkable to many sights and things to do, and is comfortable and spacious. Best of all, it has an amazing breakfast spread, a great way to start off a day of hiking around.

Cons: The bathroom I checked in had intense feces smell, seems someone just went to #2 in the bathroom. I changed the room. Later the night, I clogged the toilet (which very rarely happen to me). The front desk staff said there is no one to fix as it was late at night. I had to either change the room again or stay in the current room and go to the bathroom in another room (the one whose bathroom had intense feces smell). The hotel was physically beautiful and the room was nicely cleaned, but this experience ruined my only one night stay in Helsinki. I felt very uncomfortable staying in this Glo Hotel. I would never stay here again and will never recommend it to anyone I know.

Pros: The breakfast is above average compared to other Finnish places, really decent coffee from a local coffee place, the rooms are quiet, nicely equipped with super comfy beds and water kettle.
Cons: The doors in the in-room bathrooms need a tad of maintenance. Breakfast can get very busy.

Pros: The main building (Vanha Poli) has been a favorite of mine for a long time and every time I pass through it, I love it.
Cons: The room was small and ultra modern which is a stark contrast to the jugend (art noveaux) exterior and entrance. I was never a big fan of the modern stuff and it is disappointing to mix so great old building with modernism. Also, it was extremely hard to get the room to warm up to even 22C in the middle of the summer.

Pros: Very clean and cute. The rooms are well small and well appointed. The staff is great, friendly and cheerful. The free breakfast buffet was remarkably good and the coffee was great.
Cons: The lighting is a bit dim in the rooms.

Cons: Bathrooms, which are shared for the entire floor, were a bit messy.

Pros: The staff and location were excellent as was the on site Italian restaurant, buffet breakfast, and spa services.
Cons: My room, an upgraded single, was dusty, the air/temperature control did not work and couldn't be fixed, the reading light (the only non accent light in the room) was broken and it wasn't the bulb and they had no replacement for it, another accent light (large tube with pin holes) had come out of the wall and was sitting in the only chair with me (no room to move chair). No one was available to look at these things until the next day; I could not be moved to another room. I really think these are problems they should have found and repaired themselves.

Cons: Not sure the design concept is worth paying more for. My single room wasn't terribly attractive and some design features, such as the bathroom sink were impractical (very shallow sink). Room temperature wasn't adjustable to make it cool enough.

Pros: Very basic room for price paid. Sheets were dirty, bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. Only one extra pillow for a twin room. Central location but other than that not much to offer.

Pros: This place is a great option in Helsinki for overnighting. Your rate includes a morning breakfast sandwich, a banana and a hot drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a laundry room and for 5 Euros you can wash a load of ypur dirty clothes...includes detergent. And also includes drying of your wet clothes. What a deal for overnighting in Helsinki. Transit is easy from this place. Thank you Cheapsleep Helsinki.
