Pros: Superb meal - incredible value for money. Excellent breakfast, very friendly and nice room.
Pros: All was OK. I was there before few years and they are Super !!! Wonderful food .Nice staff
Cons: only one night stay !!!
Pros: I liked the staff, accommodation..the place just about every thing... the value for money was excellent
Pros: They have beautiful garden for relaxing
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: We spent seven marvellous days in Gesser's Hotel for a ski vacation with friends. The hotel was very nice - the location provides a very easy access to some very good skigebiete - Sillian, Drei Zinnen, Kronplatz. The hotel is very neat and cosy, the rooms are spacious, very clean and well furnished with all you need. The beds are comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the good lighting in the rooms, which is usually a rare convenience in other accommodations. The food was delicious. The breakfast was very good with a rich choice of coffees. But the dinner was exceptional. It is worth of noting the variety and the skill with which the food was prepared. However, the most important was the family running the hotel - exceptionally helpful, very cordial and friendly, doing their job with perfection and professionalism. We will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends.
Pros: Very good hotel and very nice staff. I could park my motorcycle in the garage.

Pros: Everything, this is a great hotel! Some extra features to highlight: - the "miniclub" that looks after children giving parents a chance to relax and to the children to play together. - the free bicycles with kinderwagen and/or child seats. Wonderful! - the daily activities which are advertised in a daily bulletin delivered to your table at breakfast
Pros: The location was outstanding. Easy access to everything. They even packed a lunch for our departure day.
Cons: The renovated family room does not work well for a mom traveling with a teenage boy. There was very limited privacy space to get dressed in the morning. There also were no fans and very limited air flow in the room making our first night there extremely unbearable. Meals are great for adults, but outside the palate of a teenage boy and the kinder menu was too childish.

Pros: Very good breakfast
Pros: Best designed room I've seen in a while at this price range. Very original lighting, plenty of storage space, couch and balcony. Very nice large shower. Staff very friendly. Very welcoming to our dog as well.
Cons: Not much we didn't like. Could have had eggs at breakfast, but it's understandable because it's a small family owned hotel. A bit noisy room, thin walls.

Pros: The Pension has been recently renovated, the room was comfortable, so was the bed. Nice view from the little balcony. Excellent cleanliness. Breakfast is simply yummi! Higly reccommended!
Pros: A clean and well maintained home. Large rooms. Parking at the entrance to the pension. Good location in the center of Pastoria Valley.
Cons: The owner did not know English, it was very disturbing. We did not get any help or information about anything. We stayed for 9 days without any interaction. Soap and shampo only for the first day!! First time that we encountered such code. The breakfast is just OK. No Omelet or hot eggs. No espresso in the morning. We were told that we can get in the evenings but no one was ther.

Cons: Breakfast, troubles about paying, sauna and pool have the same rest room.
Pros: Our family enjoyed food and excellent service level of the restaurant. Kids liked the small pool and water slide. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room was spacious and clean.
Pros: Everything was so perfect... Food very good and a lot to eat. We were very pleased...

The functionally furnished rooms all have a bathroom. A rich breakfast buffet is served each morning. The Schwarzer Adler also features a bar. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Hotel Schwarzer Adler features free parking and has a covered parking space for bicycles. Various outdoor activities can be booked on site.
Pros: on the way of our trip renovated bathing area (not separated from the room by a wall) breakfast was fine
Cons: Couldn't get rid of feeling beeing at a dormitory or a priest's cell... Wifi was weaker. Breakfast coffee.
Pros: More like a youth hostel than a hotel
Cons: Quite Spartan, but very clean
Pros: The staff is very nice nice and professional, there was no issues with my special requests for feather free pillows. Hotel is perfectly positioned and with big parking, although it is in the very center of town. The breakfast was very good, especially coffee was much better than usual hotel coffee.
Cons: The furniture in room was very old. I would not mind generally, however my husband could not sleep much on this old bed. Also, better curtains would be nice, because in the morning was very bright in the room.
Pros: Breakfast was OK
Cons: No WiFi, rooms may be refurbished.
Pros: Friendly hosts and nice room with good view and nice breakfast
Pros: The guy upon check in was friendly and gave plenty of advice and tips around the local area. The room was huge, as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was fabulous and the same guy worked hard at keeping all the options stocked up.
Cons: No soap, toiletries. Wooden floors throughout which means there was noise from rooms above and to the side.
Pros: Both, breakfast and the city with mountains were nice.
Pros: Spatial room. Helpful staff. Close to the bus stop of 466.
Cons: No fan in the toilet. The low ceiling of the bathroom. We cannot even stand straight to take a shower.
Pros: I used the hotel as a starting point for an alpine trek in the area. My room was basic (no tv, bunk beds), but still had an en-suite. At the price I paid I considered excellent value and the copious breakfast included in the price increased the value even further. Staff were friendly and spoken English. The hotel is a short walk from Sillian train station and well located in the centre of this small town next to restaurants, supermarket and bank.
Cons: The only (very minor) issue was the road noise. My room was at the front directly above a main road with a fair bit of passing HGV traffic. I think this is mainly noticeable on weekday mornings (6am ish onwards) and in fairness was a very minor inconvenience against what was otherwise a bed and breakfast at an exceptional price.
