Breakfast fruit very poor.
Very good location. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bedding was reasonable quality.
We were on the top floor and the lift only went up one floor from reception. The towels were small and very well used. We were woken at 06.00 by the alarm clock next to the bed. The previous occupant had set it to go off at not cancelled it. Of course we had no idea how to turn it off. Even unplugging it didn't work as it had batteries which were held in by a crosshead screw. Still, no worries, the bathroom had a motion detector which switched on the light and the extractor fan so I could go in there and really wake up properly whilst I worked out how to silence it. The heating in our room did not work but an electric heater did the job eventually.
Great location in the centre of Harrogate. Breakfast really good.
Blinds in room very dusty, few hairs in bathroom. Lacking some attention to detail such as toilet roll holder coming away from wall. General finish not up to standard of a 4 star hotel. Difficulty in sleeping on Sunday night due to the loud volume of noise made by people in the bar area below room which continued beyond 0130hrs.
We loved the location near the Valley Gardens and central for the town. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room was large and clean. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was excellent.
The room was a bit characterless and would be better if it was ‘cosied up’ a little.
Great Location to be able to walk everywhere in Harrogate. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent food in the restaurant and although it was extremely busy they squeezed me in. A really relaxing break!!
