Pros:4 days & 3 nights. Great location and clean facility. Not too spacious, tbh, but great staffs made it a 5-star experience. From the moment Miss Van Ahn’s cheerful welcome (assisted by a hilarious bellhop :) instantly cancelled my fatigue from the flight, every one of the staffs consistently looked out for me and tried to be of help. This sort of ‘active kindness’ isn’t easy to find. Not even with more money. Believe me ‘cuz I’m a quietly picky old guy traveling a lot. Breakfast is a mixture of buffet & cooked-to-order style. Satisfying. Rooftop Sky Bar offers gram-able view over the lake and some live music, and its signature cocktails are delicious but a bit strong to my taste. (But, hey, who can possibly complain about more booze for the same money, right?) And I totally recommend its spa facility, which is a tranquil & reinvigorating experience. Clean and safe (you know what I mean) I visited twice, but I wish I had more time. I could visit famous tourist’s spots and restaurants within 5-10 minutes’ walk. Misc. Fruit basket in the room. Environmentally conscious venue (You can find some suggestions on the bathroom sink) Thanks again all the amazing staffs. And Miss Van Ahn, your Korean is perfect and sounds sophisticated. 고마워요^^ Hanoi is my starting point of my month long ASEAN tour. I’m happy to have a great start thanks to you all.
Cons:Sometimes at night street noise creeped in. But that means you have a window, I guess.
