It was moldy and the air conditioning was very loud and leaked water. The hot water kept running out. We even got the most expensive room.
It's a stylish place
It's dirty and devastated
Beautiful property, must have been magnificent when it was built.
The room was clean and tidy. The huge spa bath and shower unit was not working, doors missing so showering has to be done carefully to avoid a flood. One disturbing thing was the rotten and wobbly balustrade around the balcony.Breakfast not great. We were virtually the only people staying, felt like a ghost town outside.Only one local restaurant open until 8pm.On a plus side, very convenient to terminal for day boat trips to the bay.
Great location, beautiful views looking over the beach and palms tress. Spacious bedrooms with balcony. Staff helped to book a boat trip to Halong Bay.
There wasn’t a bar and didn’t serve food during the day. Hardly any places open on the island, not sure if this was because of low season.
Great location, amazing pool, proximity from the beach and harbor. Nice courteous staff. Huge rooms. This location was isolated when we went, maybe owing to the virus scare. There were exactly 6 rooms occupied, 3 of which were ours. The entire place looked shockingly deserted. Which us why they upgraded us to bigger and better rooms closer to the lobby. A cab ride from here to the city center will cost approx 2 mil VND. Getting to the harbor is a 10 minute walk. Rooms are priced very well.
The place was empty. No guests at the lobby, pool, beach, or anywhere around. There was no breakfast spread (because of lack of guests) and we had to settle for a fixed breakfast ‘plate’..
