The venue itself is nice, just need to put tar for some of us that don't drive 4x4 vehicles.
The gravel road was too long. And they only accept credit cards and hard cash, no cheque card can be used.
The place is peaceful and quite
The Tents had everything we needed The bathrooms and braai area was cleaned at sunrise
The location of the property is very tranquil and just beautiful. The staff was friendly, restaurant was great and my kids enjoyed the amenities like the trampoline, pool, table tennis, billiards and open area to run. Lastly, the bed linens were like a 5 star hotel and the hot tub was a fabulous touch. To be clear the outside areas of our place and the property were in prestine condition and kept very clean and organized. The problems were in the cabin.
The lodging was something to be desired. You could see outside through the floorboards and the walls and because of that the rooms were full of bugs. I am not talking about one bug, I am talking about watching as lizards and other bugs crawled from the outside and into our cabin while I was in bed and the blankets next to the wall were covered in bugs. Everything in the kitchen was greasy like it hadn’t been washed. The sink towels were used and then hung up to dry. They smelled like the sewer and were as stiff as a piece of wood. It is too bad the lodging hasn’t been kept up to the standards of the rest of the property. If you go there just save the money and stay in the tents because the cabins were no more enclosed.
