Cons: No proble for us, we enjoyed the walk from the station, but if you do arrive by train bear in mind it is 25 minutes walk away. Nice walk, though, through the nineteenth century part of town and then the old inner city.

Cons: Staff friendliness could be better. I am expecting more for "the best hotel in town". A room to the backyard as I had is terrible. There is noise from the outside restaurant in summer until midnight including staff cleanup. And in the morning the staff starts preparation of breakfast shortly after 6:00 am. Closing the window is not possible during summer since there is no aircondition in the room. Fitness capabilities very limited.

Everything was set up perfectly and the room was really well designed with a sliding door to where the children were sleeping. We could open the door silently and everyone had a great night’s sleep. Parking was also provided with the receptionist making a special effort to fit my car into the car park safely despite being very full.

Pros: We arrived late in the night and one person was waiting for us. He provided very fast check in to minimize our waiting time. The room was large and the bed very confortable. The bathroom was brand new. Complimentary water was available. Breakfast was rich and tasty: many different alternatives as fruits, cereals and seeds, juices, bread, eggs, ect. Very kind staff, and strongly customer oriented.

Pros: I had to catch a train so I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast, however, it had a nice variety and good quality. Location was good for the train and why I choose it. My room location was quiet! I didn't hear the typical hotel room slamming of doors.

I was really amazed by home much I was getting for the little amount of money I paid. The lady at the kitchen didn't speak English but she was still super polite. I'd definitely stay there again; should I have the need to visit Görlitz once more.

Cons: Our dogs were not allowed in the breakfast room. It is our 4th holiday to Germany and it was the only hotel not to allow dogs at breakfast in 23 accomodations we have stayed in, even most restaurants allow the dogs in which is one of the reasons why we love Germany so much.

Having only booked a single I was very pleased to get a spacious twin room with a bathroom that had a full-size bath with shower facility. The location is handy for the gorgeous Old Town as well as the pedestrian bridge leading to Poland. Breakfast generous. Altogether very good value for money and a super little pension to stay in.

Pros: We arrived at the pension at approx 8.30 pm and we pressed a bell to enter. The owner came out to meet us. He only spoke German. Luckily my friend spoke a bit of German. The man said, we were too late and our rooms were gone. (We booked 2 rooms for 4 people) We were shocked. I showed him the booking.com confirmation then he said to come in and then he showed us our two rooms. I still am unsure why he told us the rooms were gone. The owner then was very nice, he offered us a time for breakfast and the next morning took it to us in our rooms. Rooms were clean, very basic, not extremely comfortable but fine for 1 night. The next morning the cleaning lady rudely told us to leave our room at 10.20am even though the check out time was 10.30am. They do not accept card, we needed to go and withdraw cash and then return. Overall - 5/10 Don't expect much!

The room itself was fine, but perhaps could use a kettle. Otherwise the facilities were good. I didn't try the sauna but if I was there for more than one night I'd try it out. They sell an assortment of travel items in the reception which is very useful as well. Quite cheap as well, which is always a bonus.

Pros: The view out the window over the Neisse into Zgorzelec was beautiful. The location is great too, about 3 minutes to the Altstadt Brücke and Peterkirche. The room itself was fine, but perhaps could use a kettle. Otherwise the facilities were good. I didn't try the sauna but if I was there for more than one night I'd try it out. They sell an assortment of travel items in the reception which is very useful as well. Quite cheap as well, which is always a bonus.

Pros: Excellent value for money. Great location close to the river and a short walk from the old town. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a refrigerator. The bathroom was pleasant and well-equipped.

Pros: No communication from Picobello Pension, announced late arrivel till 21,00. Actually arrived at 20,05, reception closed, only one boy walking around helped us, he had a PIN code to the tresor with the keys. No SMS received on my mobile. Reception computer message via buzzer only in German language.
Cons: Communication, no soap, very poor value for the money. Door lock needed special force to open or close. Late evening no parking place.

Cons: We gave the property a name : 'Please pay extra'. Everything, even hand soup, costs extra. Apart from toilet paper, there were no other complementaries in the room. You are also charged for Wifi- €3 for each device for 24 hours.The check in is at 2 pm and check out - 10 am. Even though you are allowed to use the room for 20 hours (if you, like us, stay for one day only), you pay the full price for Wifi. One of the windows was broken, thus, we could not use it at all. Also, the cancellation of the room would have cost us almost the same amount as the room fee. In general, the hotel is in great location, but apart from that, I would not recommend it to friends.
