I loved the friendliness of the staff, the room was very clean and tidy and there was an excellent choice on the breakfast menu. As we travel down to Cornwall a lot to see our daughter and family we will be using this as a regular stop off on the journey down. I will even use it when travelling on my own as I felt the property was very safe and I felt comfortable there. We felt it was excellent value for money and look forward to our next stay.
I know its picky but I felt the pillows were slightly uncomfortable although my husband thought they were fine so probably due to my bad neck so not much can be done about that. Shower was slightly small but as it was only for one night it was fine.
Spacious room, very comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff
building work/noise could have started a little later
stayed this time in what looked like a new or refurbished room, clean and very tidy, dinner and breakfast were good, cant knock it for the price, nice atmosphere in the bar and a good WiFi signal.
Convenient for the local marathon. Very clean and comfortable bed.
Newly updated, very clean room, helpful staff who let us check in at 10.30pm. Great breakfast and good value for money. Lovely old Tudor pub.
