Pros: My room was exceptionally clean, it was nice and quiet, and the bathroom in the room was hands down the best hotel bathroom I have ever had. There's a tub you'd actually get excited about taking a bath in. Breakfast was also very, very good. If you are there in the autumn, make sure you try the plum dessert from their restaurant.

Pros: We loved our stay at Hotel Rose and even extended by a day. Rooms were renovated and clean. The breakfast was good too. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Loved the location because it was a bit uphill away from the rail tracks, which made it quiet and relaxing. And parking was included, which we really appreciated.
Cons: NA
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Location somewhat far from the center (walking distance)
6,0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, pretty building, clean room.
Cons: My single size room was right outside a main hallway and door, which every time someone passed by and opened/shut the door, it was loud, disruptive. Past 22:00, guests were shouting outside my room in the hall, banging objects around, it was not relaxing... made me uncomfortable. The room itself was really nice and extremely clean, but the walls are not sound proof, so it felt like when someone opened the hallway door, they were opening mine... That was the only negative, besides that, I enjoyed everything about this hotel and location!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is in an excellent location only 8 minutes walk from the old town. We had a very nice welcome from the owners and were even given a room upgrade. Free parking was good. The room itself was excellent with a lovely comfy bed. Breakfast was beyond expectations with lots of choice and you could even make your own waffles. Great
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. The rooms were clean, a good size and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good selection of cold foods for breakfast including scrambled, boiled eggs and sausage.
Cons: Clean and Comfortable hotel in a great location. Only 10mins walk to the main town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We had a lovely staff at this hotel and would not hesitate to return.

Pros: This little gem of a hotel, which is attached to a brewery, was an unexpected joy after staying at many hotels throughout Europe. It is clean and not far from Rothenburg, but still quiet and cosy. We had too dinners in the restaurant and they were absolutely delicious. Would stay here again.

Pros: The cleanliness of everywhere in the hotel is exceptional! Beds were very comfortable, size of room larger than expected and bathroom modern and well equipped. Very friendly service, good breakfast with great coffee.
Cons: Nothing, everything was fabulous!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is less than a block from the plaza. There are so many places within a 5 minute walk. Our room (437) had an amazing view of vineyards, and an old church right next door. Breakfast was good. Staff were super helpful, friendly, and humorous. We liked hearing the church bells, but light sleepers may not.
Cons: Even with the heaters off, our room was a little warm. If you have an irrational fear of ducks, this hotel is not for you.
9,2 Excellent
Cons: The shower hose was miss placed in regards to the shower block making it useless, resulting in water all over the floor, other than that poor example of workmanship everything else was lovely.
7,5 Good
Pros: Rooms were a decent size, with comfy beds (minus the square pillows, which I will never understand!). Staff were great - even called in the evening to check I was still en route!
Cons: Streetside room, which meant you could hear everything from cars driving down, to people’s conversations and even high heels stomping the cobbles! As comfy as the bed was, I will never understand the European way - square pillows and smaller-than-single duvets?!! Tea and coffee facilities would’ve been nice, but minor in comparison.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Room was a bit small but comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Hotel is several minutes away from the center. Staff was kind. The room was clean.
Cons: I wish there was a kettle for making coffee.

Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff were very nice. Everyone was very helpful. Room was clean and everything very smooth with booking. Helpful with suggestions before checking in. Tourist office nearby. Lovely area. We had to cancel one of our party due to an accident, but there was no hassle with this a few days before with the hotels or with booking.com, both made it very easy. Taxi and Shuttle bus were good to get from hotel to Frankfurt airport.
Cons: The breakfast was less than in the hotel in Darmstadt, which we were staying the previous nights. Then again, the standard German breakfast is less than the Irish one, so perhaps it is good compared to its neighboring establishments.

Pros: The breakfast was great. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were large - great views. Only small downside was the loss of the WiFi connection on the second day. The location was wonderful especially for the Christmas market. Will definitely stay here again.
Cons: WiFi connection could have been more consistent - only worked for one day of our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very warm friendly hosts. When we arrived Thomas proposed to let him park the car, the garage was in a narrow street. Very good breakfast and nice served by the hosts. Room was rather big with a bathroom and a bad/douche. Very good bed. A familiar hotel.
Cons: The passing trains makes a lot of noise, it can be disturbing when you sleep with the windows open. The hosts already foreseen some earbuds. For them, there is nothing that can be done to improve this.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The attention to detail for providing a fan and earplugs in your room if you are sensitive to noise since the hotel is right across the train station and Rhine River. I love the setting of the breakfast area especially when you sat by the window with the view of the Rhine River and mountain. Also, I really appreciate that the owner even parked our car for us in their garage and made sure we can load our stuff conveniently. ♥️
Cons: Mattress is not my type, I find it too soft. Also, I prefer shower than tubs. Wi-fi in our room is on and off.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staffs, the location is excellent and great breakfast. Would love to stay here again.
Cons: nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb, right on the corner of Drosselgasse, looking out over the Seine. Thomas was really helpful. The breakfast was lovely. Ear plugs were provided as the trains run right outside and are very noisy but we slept through them!

Pros: Great staff, location and everything was a short walk away. Don't miss Siegfried's and the tram ride to the monument.

Pros: Fabulous location with our room overlooking the Rhine.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: the view from the room balcony was magnificent. to be recommended
Cons: free beer/ what do you expect
7,9 Good
Pros: Very friendly family run hotel. Son and father (we think) very helpful in offering travel advice. Hotel immaculate although a bit dated. Noisy rooms with road and railways either side of Rhine valley. Affects most hotels along Rhine valley. Got used to noise after 1st night. We bought evening meals in the hotel on 2 nights and they were excellent. Hotel has small car park that fills up quickly. There is paid on street parking (0900 - 1800 ) outside the front of the hotel.Close to KD line ferry stop.
Cons: Quieter. Better ventilation in rooms without opening windows (and letting in noise)
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful manager and staff, great location, excellent food.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Our initial staff assistance was amazing - tons of help beyond expectations and a great attitude. The location (town, river, easy street access, views) was simply the best. Our fourth floor balcony was great, and we had an amazing view of Schloss Burg Rheinstein and all the activities on the Rhine. Food at the restaurant was also outstanding, and they had a fine selection of Assmannshausen wines. Will definitely return.
Cons: For an international destination, a bit stronger English speaking skills by some staff would be nice. A bit more powerful air conditioning would be nice, but it did work pretty well given enough time.

Pros: Excellent
Cons: Lack of off road parking

Pros: The breakfast I would rate as average. The room was clean the bed was comfortable except the pillows were a bit flat.
Cons: It did not affect us too much saying here in September but in high summer the lack of aircon could be a problem.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historic hotel centrally located in Rudesheim. *Staff went above and beyond to help us with information and directions. We knew very little German but the very kind gentleman who greeted us upon our arrived spoke very good english (he not only worked the front desk but he also cooked-he and the 2 ladies that worked the morning and evening shifts were one of the hardest working staffs I have ever observed!) He even set out an early breakfast for us when he realized we were leaving before breakfast to catch our flight in Frankfurt. Great Location! Walking distance to Boat docks for the Rhein River Day Cruise, wonderful shopping area and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing! Delicious with a wonderful variety of choices. We also had a very nice dinner at the hotel the evening we arrived. Parking is tight but once again when the lot was full we were directed to another safe parking area just across the street. The hotel is not air conditioned if you are traveling when the weather is warmer but the temps were cooler for our stay. We opened the window and it was perfect. Beds were very comfortable. We would stay at the Central Hotel again and happily recommend it to anyone traveling to this darling little town!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The in-house restaurant was very good and good value. The chef and staff dealt with my wife's dietary needs with efficiency and no fuss. Lukas was very helpful and pleasant and assisted all our enquiries.
Cons: Some confusion over car parking. The hotel policy changed the day we arrived and although booking had ceased some guests who were part way through their stay had reserved spaces. On the plus side one of the managers quickly gave me their personal parking space - so the problem was resolved :-)
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast, excellent location, nice n very helpful owner.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, very helpful. Close to the square, the Rhine boats and all the restaurants

Pros: Excellent location alongside the Rhein; secure parking for motorcycle in cellar
Cons: Definitely needs better (or more) pillows
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location on the Rhine. Nice sized room with river views and a fan! Comfortable bed although we had expected a double but it was two beds put together. Nice selection at breakfast but scrambled eggs disappeared very quickly and took time to replenish. This hotel seemed to be more focussed on dining rather than the rooms. Parking was limited which was not clear in the hotel details although cars seemed to park in the bus spaces. We had dinner at the hotel and it was very good but the portions were large. Overall a good stay but a little pricey.
Cons: Not having someone at the reception desk.
7,9 Good
Pros: Good location, River view is fantastic! Very peaceful, miles away from another town which crowded with tourists. Parking is close by.
Cons: A bit old decoration, but acceptable. You get what you pay for.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, tidy, the toilet/shower was modern with hot water, Breakfast and evening meal were good, there was a good outside terrace, and a partially screened space which over looks the Rhine. We were welcomed and well looked after.
Cons: There is a train line behind the hotel which operates around the clock, but we had the window open, but this did not bother us too much.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful breakfast, great views of the Rhein from Room #4, and super-close to the train station! It was a big plus for us to be able to rent bikes at Reception (10 Euro/day)!
Cons: Nothing! Even dinner on the terrace was excellent! The Buddy Burger was massive and awesome for sharing!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice breakfast. Staff was pleasant, if not terribly available. Room was beautiful.
Cons: Do you know what a train coming through your bedroom sounds like? Stay here and find out! Location is right off of a very busy road, separating the hotel from the view(s). Train line runs right behind the property -- very very noisy.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was delightful.
Cons: Bed was a bit uncomfortable.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The family room is classic and larger than we expected. The room is very clean with modern bathroom. The restaurant is a wonderful place to have dinner: with a very nice view of Rhine river. The location is great: close to a lot of local attractions.
Cons: The room we stayed in is close to the railway. We left the windows open and at 4AM we can hear people working on the railway. The noise is greatly reduced if the windows are closed. The restaurant menu has an English version but only with limited choices.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay We ate dinner here and I have to say it was the best Schnitzel of all we had in Germany and we had a lot to eat. WE had a car so the location was fine for us. The hosts were wonderful people and we really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Everything was great.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The lovely welcoming and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very good value.
Cons: It's quite difficult to f Ind so some directions from the centre of Rüdesheim would be helpful.
7,1 Good
Pros: Clean, quiet place
Cons: The guesthouse is in the distance from the town centre, in residential district, in evening there nothing to do - after 8 p.m. hotels restaurant kitchen is closed, to reach other restaurants is problem. The breakfast was poor.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staffs are very friendly. Foods in restaurant is good. White wine from own wine yard is cheap and nice. Very near to tourist attraction spots.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel was quiet, and had a nice view.
Cons: Upon arriving I called the hotel for directions. I was told to take a cab or ask a local. The hotel is located at least 25 minutes from town, walking up several steep hills. If you don’t have a car, walking downhill into down isn’t too bad, but returning especially at night you will need to take a cab. We are young and in shape. This especially is not a good choice for anyone who can’t handle steep hills . I prepaid breakfast and when I checked in I was told breakfast began at 8:00am. I let them know immediately Ed could not have breakfast the second morning as we had a train at 9:0O. When checking out we noticed the breakfast charge had not been removed. We were told they had already paid bookings. Hearing this, and it was 7:50 am I asked if we could quickly make something to go. Unhappily she said ok. It really would have been nice if she had offered to put together a to go box for us knowing our situation in advance.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful typical guesthouse in Rüdesheim, close to the vineyards and the convent. Exceptional service especially from Frau Grancher. Walking distance from the city center. You can take a small tour to the wine cellar and have a wine tasting. Very good food at the restaurant
Cons: Not enough soap is provided for daily showers. The breakfast is good but not very varied.

Pros: folk were friendly nice setting with vine yards all around
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Near the Abbey, near bus station
Cons: Ground floor, high humidity
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Parking easily accessible in front of pension. Breakfast decent.
Cons: 20 minute uphill from town and 15 minute down to town. Thought it was in the middle of vineyard, rather than in front of one. Terrible wi-fi...kept going in and out. Towels skimpy, limited soap. Pilliwslarge and lumpy. No bath mat first day.

2,9 Mediocre
Pros: No reception. Just an irritable German voice giving a code number to open the gate to the yard. Nobody turned up to greet us. No bar, no food, nothing. Just an envelope telling us that breakfast was at sometime in the morning. The hotel is in a commune about five miles from Bad Kreuznach. There is nothing near the hotel and Bad Kreuznach is a dump. Full of industrial sites. It is awful.
Cons: All of the above and more besides. No attractiveness at all. It should be taken if Booking.com listings.
6,7 Good
Pros: The rooms are nice overall, even have a fan in the room. Not something you see often in Germany and have ambiance as with the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly.
Cons: Lots of stains on the carpet in the room. Finding a place to park during check in. There is no parking in front of the building and it's a main Street.

7,0 Good
Pros: Location is what makes this place a good choice, the accommodation itself is outdated and not worth the money.
Cons: Bathroom needs a complete overhaul, the room itself is just slightly better. The sink and bathtub don't drain well, can only imagine what lives down there. Internet is okay if you manage to get on it as it only allows a limited number of guests.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff and the location
Cons: The building is getting little old but it is still charming
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location! Great breakfast! The super staff made sure we had coffee since we left too early for breakfast on last day. Staff easily answered all questions we had.
Cons: The beds are quite firm and uncomfortable-for me. I am used to a softer mattress.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is really good, and the location is great. We stayed with my wife and little daughter and they gave us a large room which was fine.
Cons: Due to the fact that the floor of the room had a carpet, it felt like it was not very clean, when we returned to the room, at times it smelled like humidity or pipes.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location, food, and music
Cons: Noise from next door restaurant/bar - went on til the middle of the night.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff was amazing. Good European breakfast as well.
Cons: For the price the room was very small and noisy. The bed was right by the door so everytime anyone walked by, unlocked their door, etc. I was awoken (and yes there were many who overly enjoyed the gluhwein. The room felt more like a closet than a room and the bed was not comfortable...for the price it wasn’t worth giving up comfort. Also, although on the Drosselgasse they had those doors locked so you had to go all the way around to get to the Drosselgasse...deceptive location when those doors are locked.

Pros: Very well located
Cons: The heaters were not working well, so the room was very cold.

Pros: Coffee and tea in room. Refrigerator.
Cons: Location is laud
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable and so was the bed. The breakfast buffet and coffee were excellent. I had stayed there for six nights and then returned for one night several days later on my way back home. By the time I was ready to leave I was treated like family. Since I was coming back; they even allowed me to leave some of my items there so I would not have to haul them around with me to my next destinations. It is an older building; but in this case old does not mean bad. They run a great operation and I'll bet they are busy in the tourist seasons.
Cons: The shower stall was a little small for me (I am 6' 5"/290), but I managed. If you are not an NFL lineman; you shouldn't have any problems. My last night there on the first part of my stay, the Wi-Fi/Internet in the room (until then, excellent) had became almost useless. They apologized and admitted there was a problem with it and showed me why. They had begun installation of a brand new phone/communications system for the hotel that day. They gave me access to their Wi-Fi in the lobby to finish what I needed to do. When I had returned to the hotel the next week, the Wi-Fi was again strong in the room.
7,9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was lovely. The room was spacious and furnished very modern. The hotel is located outside the city in a forest-like area sonst invited for hikes and runs and maybe a swim during the summer. I didn’t get a chance to go, but the hotel offered a sauna as well.
Cons: The elevator was a tad sketchy and they did not offer lactose free items at breakfast.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good hotel for most of the things Good view
Cons: Need a curtain maybe for the toilet Some smell from the paint of the furniture
